"You said you weren't interested in romantic relationships and said it was a hassle. Then why are you dating me?"
In accordance with yesterday's agreement when I finished volleyball practice, I met and left together with Fisa.
We continued to talk about many things until finally got a topic of conversation that was a bit difficult for me to answer.
This is one of my bad qualities. Labil, I often experience it when making decisions and it only takes a moment, my decisions change.
I can't say this to Fisa because it would be very risky, he could feel moody when I'm honest with my nature on this one.
It was different from Elaina, her sincere attitude made her able to forgive all my vices.
However all humans are different, behind many human goodness there will still be ugliness, no matter how small it is. And vice versa.
"You are different. Deep in my heart, I want to get closer to you."
"Fufu-I was surprised that you suddenly asked me to date, but I was also happy. That's why I accepted your invitation."
One problem was solved so quickly, now the next problem was about the fourth day exam. Athletic testing, I wonder what is done in this exam.
"See you later, Fisa!"
"Yes, we'll meet again here."
Doing a short farewell, we parted at the park where I used to relax.
Classroom, this is my only goal right now. I continued walking until I finally managed to enter it even though it was almost too late.
"You better be late!"
"Good morning, Mr. Smith. Sorry, I'm almost too late!"
"Come in!"
"Good!"
Mr. Smith's greeting this morning was very rude. Even so, he let me in.
Athletic testing in the classroom. Mr. Smith explained to all students before getting into the athletic exam, they had to choose one of three disciplines: fencing, archery, or boxing.
The choice of discipline will be done through voting that can be done through a watch.
Instructors will give demonstrations in each sport to show what is involved and how it is done correctly.
Fencing: A long piece of silk stretched between two poles, this was a weapon used to fight with swords and daggers. It also requires hand-eye coordination and quick reflexes.
The fencing instructor will demonstrate how to hold the correct weapon as well as how to fend off an attack. The class will then fight.
Boxing: This ancient martial art teaches students self-control and discipline through physical exercises. The instructor will teach you how to punch, knit, cross, and stab; but only after mastering the basic techniques. The best fighters are usually those who can combine these blows with defensive moves such as blocking or dodging.
The instructor teacher will demonstrate the basics of boxing. After that, he would order a match against the other students.
Archery: In this sport uses bows and arrows used to shoot field-mounted targets. While it does not require great strength, a good shot is essential as the arrow can cover a distance of over 150 yards.
The instructor's teacher will demonstrate the archery technique before the students try it themselves. Then the student will practice shooting the target of the puppet.
The instructor will explain the rules of the challenge. Then he'll have you fight another student.
All three disciplines have their own strengths and weaknesses. The students must decide which one is best suited for him and vote.
Before it starts, the students should know that the winner will be determined by how many votes a class chooses.
"Vote now! It's only five minutes."
"Good."
The students rushed to play his watch and chose one of the three disciplines. Fencing, boxing, and archery.
"Satomi, what did you choose? I can only follow you."
"Hmm. maybe archery, although I'm sure boxing will be far superior."
I played the watch and hit the voting section near the time it was shown. After that there are three discipline papers that must be chosen, the consequence if not chosen is to get a reduction in points.
Archery.
Pressing on the writing, Elaina also came with me and chose it.
"60 seconds! There are still 8 students who have not voted. Quickly do so, or a point deduction will occur!"
Mr. Smith urged students who have not voted to vote immediately.
"As usual, Mr. Smith is terrible."
"Yes, that's it."
Finally, all students in the class have voted and the results are clearly displayed on each of our watches.
Fencing: 8 Votes
Archery: 12 Votes
Fencing gets the least votes, while boxing and archery have a thin margin won by archery.
I had little idea that archery would be the winner, so the athletic exam would be done with archery.
"The winner is archery. You have chosen as you wish, do not be discouraged if the discipline you voted for is not elected."
"Good."
"Good! Now that I'm going to tell you about the athletic exam today, you guys just need to do the basic moves like push ups, sit ups, and pull ups. You can do every one basic movement that has a maximum of 33 times, one movement is worth one point. Then when it is finished, the basic movement changes until it is finished. Asking to change the basic movement is allowed, but it can only be done when you feel you are unable to do it."
Mr. Smith's explanation sounds a little difficult to understand.
"Sir Smith, what about the archery?"
I asked without hesitation to answer my curiosity.
"For the archery athletic exam, you'll do it tomorrow. Yeah, that was your last day doing the exam as a new student. To be honest I was quite impressed because in the previous generation, some students in class E have been dropped out even though they only had a few days to go to school."
Mr. Smith sounded like he was praising the students in class. No, I don't think he said it sincerely. That sounds like an insult to them.
"It's time, Satomi Adney. You're the first."
"Hmm. okay."
Something like this happened, I expected it. Become the first person and be an example for other students in this troublesome exam trial.
Push up, 33 times. Sit up, 33 times. Pull ups, 33 times. One move is worth one point, so I would get 99 points if I could do it all.
I don't intend to get a perfect score, I'm only aiming for a 60. My plan for the exam this time, though,
Push up, 25 times. Sit up, 20 times. Pull up, 15 times. That way the total is 60, of course I have to refrain from looking prominent.
"Do it here!"
"Yes, I understand."
Many classmates stared at me. Of course they were wondering how this test went, maybe this time I'll do a little good to them.
I took the usual push-up position and pushed my arm down. One, two, three, .., ten, .., twenty. Enough to get there, I deliberately shook my arm to look like I was exhausted.
"Please change movement, I've given up on push ups."
"25 moves, push ups. Next one!"
Mr. Smith recorded my test results on a piece of paper.
The next basic movement is sit up.
"Sir Smith, sorry to interrupt. Can you hold my leg?"
"Yes, no problem."
Mr. Smith approached me, then he held the leg as I told him to.
I kept doing sit-ups and I also intentionally did them slowly. There's no reason for that, I just want to waste my time.
Until the count of 20, I finally stopped and gave a cue if I had given up with sit-ups.
"Why Satomi? Want to change the movement?"
"Yes, please. I'm not strong anymore."
"20 moves, sit up. Next one! You can depend on the part above the door there."
The athletic exam for today seems very simple. The students were simply told to do the basic moves and judge them based on how much they could do.
Ignore everything. I didn't care anymore about my classmate's gaze and decided to pull up 15 times immediately.
For a second, I stared at Elaina and Lina's faces. It turned out that the two of them were both taking me seriously. So does Danna who looks like she's watching something from me.
I walked over to the door and raised my hands to hang on the top.
One pull of the body felt light. At fifteen pulls, my body felt lighter than before. Enough, I let go of my hand and no longer hung at the top of the door.
"Have finished? 15 movements, pull up. Satomi Adney, your grade is 60. Really bad and disgusting."
"Is that so? Sorry for not being able to meet your high expectations."
"You can go home now, I suggest you train harder for tomorrow. Finally, Danna!"
It turned out that the athletic exam I ran today only took 10 minutes to complete.
I was allowed to go home and I went out of class and lay in the grass of the park as usual, while waiting for the arrival of Fisa who felt long enough.
When he came, we talked about a lot of things like the exams I just finished and the sport of volleyball. Fisa looks very happy because I also have an interest in the sport he likes.
