Back at school, Eric finds that Yukiya is absent for the day.

“Yukiya sent the doctor a letter, he said he was sick and could not go to school” said the attendance officer when Eric asked about Yukiya's absence.

            There is no more detailed explanation than yukiya needs a little time to rest. It can be little understood, Yukiya did ask that this be kept secret.if this is spread, the school committee will be repotted and the guard against Santana students will be tightened.

Did Ivana know there was any indication that Yukiya was attacked by one of King's men? Eric doesn't know.

Gio followed her everywhere, every time Eric left class to just buy food to the cafeteria or go to the toilet.
