Chapter 26

By the time they came out of Leana's room. Gery also came out of his room inside the RV. Gery decided to go out because she heard a voice not far from her room.

Well...Leana, Alex, and Gery - the three of them decide to lock themselves up in a room inside the RV. In because the room in the grandfather's house is not enough for them all to lock themselves.

Because the three of them happened to meet at the time they both came out of his room. They were all shocked as they did not expect to see each other directly, either, but even so, their surprise immediately turned into a happiness because they saw all of them who were in the RV successfully through the process of transformation of each self.

Now they can only hope that the other families are just like them. Gery who saw Leana and Alex came to hug Leana and said, "Leana thank God you also succeeded I was afraid that if you did not succeed and turned into a zombie. Because if you turn into a zombie then all my happiness and wealth will be gone."

Leana who heard Gery's words patted her on the forehead and replied Gery in an annoyed tone "You only think about your wealth and your happiness..."

Gery who heard Leana's words that were like an annoyed tone immediately realized he had spoken wrong which made Leana become upset.

Gery unconsciously carelessly speaks the things he thinks and fears that if Leana turns into a zombie then all the things they accumulate will be in vain.

Gery, who knew he was wrong, said apologetically, "Leana I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that but my intentions are good...I'm just afraid how if you turn into a zombie then the items that we've been piling up will be useless because now all of our family's possessions will be the same as you all. Our lives are all dependent on you."

Leana and Alex who heard Gery's explanation only realized their actions were too rash and careless. Because they didn't think of what Gery said just now because if Leana turns into a zombie, the rest of the family's life will be severely threatened.

Leana then patted her chest while saying in her heart fortunately she managed to go through this transformation process otherwise she would be very guilty of the other families.

Alex, who knows Leana's fear, can only comfort Leana by rubbing her hair with affection.

Gery who saw Alex and Leana who was not upset anymore then exhaled slowly to release the tension he felt.

"Come, we should get into grandfather's house immediately to see the other family's condition." Leana was impatient.

Because they were all worried about other families. They don't delay it anymore either. The three of them immediately walked over to grandfather's house in a hurry.

Arriving at the door Leana was about to open the door directly but was prevented by Alex.

Leana who saw Alex prevented him from opening the door then looked at Alex with her eyebrows up next door while making a facial expression asked Alex.

Fear of being misunderstood by Leana. Alex then explained to Leana, "be careful not to be rash because we do not know the conditions inside how. It's better I open the door and walk in front to make sure everything's okay."

Alex, who heard this, took the knife that Leana gave him. Without delaying any longer he walked slowly while looking at the surrounding conditions. Not to forget Alex gives a sign for Leana and Gery to follow him.

Alex decides to go to the room of his grandparents who are below. First of all Alex knocked on grandfather's room repeatedly while hearing a voice inside.

Inside the still weak grandfather's room woke up slowly because he heard someone knocking on his room.

While walking hobbled grandfather towards the door of his room and slowly turned the key to his room door. Then Grandpa opened the door to his room.

Leana, Alex, and Gery the three of them waited at the door hoping for anxiety. After seeing the room door in the open the three of them immediately felt relieved.

Leana who saw the condition of the weak and limp grandfather immediately helped to get grandfather to bed.

"Grandfather, how is he? Is anyone sick? Is there anything Leana can do to help grandpa?" Leana said in an anxious tone.

Alex who went into the grandfather's room went straight to the bedside table and poured a glass of water for the grandfather to drink.

After pouring a glass of Alex's water, he headed to where he was sitting and said, "grandfather drink first, have you eaten?" I hold out a glass filled with water.

Grandpa who saw the glass that was stretched out, slowly took it and sipped water in it. After grandfather finished drinking all the water that was in the glass.

Grandfather then asked, "What about the others? Why are there only three of you? Did nothing else work?" Speak grandfather in a sad tone because he thought the others could not go through the transformation process that occurred.

Then grandfather inevitably remembers meeting with Elise from the beginning until they get married and finally have children and grandchildren.

Thinking his wife had left him alone. And he had to continue his life without his wife who had been with him made grandfather feel sad and did not know what to do in the future. Grandfather then felt helpless and his life was no longer meaningful.

Gery who could not bear to see the grandfather who had been strong became weak like that and said, "Grandfather has misunderstood! Grandma and the others are currently fine! Only we do not know how the other circumstances because once we enter we go directly to grandfather's room so we do not know the other conditions. But there should be no problem because we didn't hear any strange sounds so grandfather has to be optimistic our family will be fine and they'll be like we made it through all this!" Said Gery with an encouraging tone so that grandfather is not sad anymore.

Grandfather who heard Gery's words did not trust him too much to confirm Gery's words, Grandpa then looked at Alex with a face to ask.

Alex who was in Grandpa's eyes then answered a silent question asked by grandfather, "Yang Gery said true Kek...we didn't know how things were going because as soon as we got out of the RV we came to see grandfather. But as Gery said all the way to our grandfather's room we didn't hear a strange sound should be at this time the condition of the grandmother and others were weak as the condition of the grandfather earlier, he said, So they can't come out to see us yet."

Grandfather who heard Alex's explanation then felt relieved because at least there is still a speck of hope for grandfather that his wife, son and daughter-in-law will be fine. Then grandfather prayed in his heart that their families could all pass this ordeal. So that all the families can get together like before.
