Chapter 38

After taking out the crystal core they went straight up to the 3rd floor where Joe's apartment was located.

After they reached the 3rd floor Alex who was still walking ahead to open the road was shocked by the scene in front of him because there were about 25 zombies crowded in front of the door of Joe's apartment.

Seeing the scene Alex then chose to retreat to the back after that decided to discuss with David, Leana and Gery briefly to overcome the zombie crowd in front of him.

"The zombies that are in front are too many for us to deal with, I suspect the zombies on the 3rd floor there are about 25s with the four of us will be difficult to deal with the zombies." Gery said in a frustrated tone after seeing the situation they were currently in.

"Alex try to use your lightning power to pave the way but don't use all your strength. You just need to disperse the zombie crowd so Joe's people can come out to help. I'm sure Joe right now must be waiting for us at the entrance if they know we've arrived and are facing a zombie crowd they'll definitely be trying to get out to help us with their addition there must be no problem facing these zombies" Leana said directly.

Leana who heard Alex's words nodded her head in agreement. "Leana you walk behind Alex, Gery and papa will walk behind you just in case you don't fall behind you have to run as you can understand!" Resolute David after hearing the words of his daughter-in-law.

Leana could only nod her head back. After agreeing with the plan made by Leana they immediately carried out the plan.

Alex signs with his hand that he will start breaking through Alex doing that in order for Leana, David and Gery to follow him immediately.

Immediately Alex ran forward while throwing the power of the lightning ball in his right hand to disperse the crowd of zombies in front of him. Leana, David and Gery who were behind Alex also did not stay silent they all held swords in their hands and then ran forward following Alex while slashing towards the zombies that swarmed them.

Arriving at Joe's apartment doorstep, Alex knocks on the door slowly 4 times. After that Alex fought back the zombies that came to him.

When Leana and Alex arrive at Joe's apartment. Tee who was standing in front of the window saw Alex coming. Tee immediately rushed to tell Joe, Top and Hyu.

They want to go down to see Alex but can't make contact on the doorstep of the apartment they've gathered a lot of zombies.

The zombies gather because of the voice of Joe's cell phone that reads when Alex contacts Joe. Even though they wanted to go out straight away but they did not dare to take the risk.

Therefore they can only wait until Alex comes to them. There was nothing else they could do but wait for Alex to save them. Though they also wanted to quickly get out of this place and immediately join their brother.

When they heard the knock on the door 4 times Joe, Tee, Top and Hyu were immediately excited because this was the code made by them that indicated Alex had arrived to pick them all up.

Joe who heard the commotion at the door of his apartment rushed out to help as well as Tee, Top, and Hyu. The four of them came out with their own weapons.

After 4 people came out to help the resistance between humans against the originally unbalanced zombies finally became reversed with the humans being the winners.

Soon they gathered 20 crystal cores from the zombies they had defeated. All of these crystal nuclei were given to Leana for storage.

Alex leaves Gery to burn the corpses of the zombies they defeated. Alex takes Leana and David to Joe's apartment.

"Have you prepared everything you wanted to bring?" Alex asked while looking at Joe's men.

"We've all packed our needs now we just leave" said Joe with a tone of spirit. Because he finally met his brother.

"Hem.sad that if all this stuff is thrown away (while looking around) Leana how about you help them to store their stuff. How to know they still need this stuff in the future. Joe, Tee, Top and Hyu show your sister-in-law the things you want to keep." Alex said without looking at Joe, Tee, Top and Hyu.

Although they alluded but they still carried out what was ordered by Alex. Soon Joe asks Leana to save everything in his house because for Joe everything in the house is very valuable.

Joe just left furniture that can not be removed because for Joe all that he bought from the results of his labor so it is certain if it can be taken why should be thrown away. Because Joe adheres to the principle that everything that exists must be appreciated whatever it is.

At first Joe, Tee, Top and Hyu alluded for a moment when they saw the missing items in front of their eyes after being touched by Leana.

After Joe's belongings are stored, Tee takes Leana to the next room next to Joe's apartment. Leana who was dragged by Tee felt agitated. How there is a door connected to the next room.

"Then what about Hyu because there are only 3 apartments? Where does Hyu live?" Leana asked in a curious tone because Leana knew the four of them were always together inseparable.

"Hyu lives with Top. Joe loves freedom and likes to buy things, so we decided on Joe's apartment as our mother house and place to gather. Joe also always cooks for us, while I prefer peace so I asked for a separate apartment because there are only 3 apartments finally Top and Hyu relented to stay together" Tee explained back.

"Why?" Leana was still very curious.

"Because we're orphans and we don't want to lose the togetherness that we get but even so after adulthood we need privacy as well. After careful thought we decided this. When we need privacy we have our own place but we can also maintain existing relationships." Joe answered when he heard Leana's question.

"But I don't think this is privacy especially for Top and Hyu!" Leana said directly because she disagreed with Joe's explanation.

"Hahaha.actually among the four of us never think about privacy because in comparison privacy we prefer togetherness except Tee yes. But even so Tee still likes to gather with us because she likes to eat but can not cook Joe who has to cook for Tee. Joe is like our mother and Alex is like our father." Top said in a joking tone.

"Don't believe my sister-in-law, Top lied even though our apartment was accessible from the inside we only wore this at certain times like today. Most of us use the main door. So other than Joe who doesn't care about privacy, the others have privacy, even if I share an apartment with Top, we won't enter another room without permission" Hyu explained.

"True, Top lied we did choose to be together but we also have each other's privacy just the privacy of each different person. I don't care about privacy because I like crowds so it doesn't matter where I'm going to be just where I need a big place so I have one apartment and Tee really needs privacy because of her it takes tranquility so he gets one apartment while for Top and Hyu they share the apartment because of their almost similar nature. They just need each other's rooms as their privacy" explained Joe back.

"Then do you have no problem living together in an RV?" Leana asked uneasy because the RV room was small and also not much so it was likely that they would have to share the room.

"It doesn't matter because in the current situation it's more important together than privacy to be more secure." Joe's assertion is directly approved by Tee, Top and Hyu.

"Well if you don't have a problem. Welcome to join our family. In the future we will be a family. So please cooperate, yes." said Leana with a sweet smile.

"Thank you, please work together as well as brother-in-law" Joe, Tee, Top and Hyu replied in a compact manner.

Leana quickly stuffed all of Tee, Top and Hyu's items into the room other than Joe who had a lot of stuff.

Tee just asks Leana to keep her bed, wardrobe, and hiking gear the rest of Tee doesn't care. But Tee allows Leana to take other items if Leana thinks she needs them.

Leana did not hesitate to put all the other items into the room. Then they went to Top and Hyu's apartment.

For Top he simply asked Leana to put in her bed, her wardrobe and her racing gear.

For Hyu she asked Leana to put in a bed, a wardrobe, all carpentry supplies, some spare parts, as well as some kind of keys that Leana did not know. And just like Tee's apartment, Leana also put all the goods into her space, which Leana thought would be used for the future.
