Chapter 51

"Alex, what do you mean by that, is this vest and glove for protection from animal scratches? But what does that need to do? We have weapons and if we can't fight we just run away. Why wear bulletproof vests and gloves?" Gery complains that he doesn't understand Alex's behavior.

Because for Gery Alex's actions for self-protection are too excessive. After all Gery felt wearing a bulletproof vest was too uncomfortable and also wearing it would only limit his wiggle room. Therefore Gery is not willing to wear a bulletproof vest.

Dave who heard Gery's complaint became annoyed at his son. Without saying anything without cue Dave directly hit his son's head from behind and said to his son.

"Make sure you wear it. Many times you talk, it's good Alex thinks about your safety. Don't thank me this many times. The child is ungrateful."

Gery who was hit by Dave immediately complained because he felt persecuted, "Okay.papa this is nothing at all. Why hit my head? What if I'm being stupid?"

"Why are you afraid of being stupid? You don't realize you're actually stupid! You stupid kid who knows nothing but to play!" Dave said with emotion.

"Papa this is what the hell.slightly his years nagging and playing spanking. Let me not be a pick-up boy yes.makanya papa always hit me and never love me" said Gery pretend with a sad tone.

Hearing the words of his son Dave became more emotional and said, "I picked you up from the trash can so you are so stupid. Nothing at all like Lusy or me."

"Well.it turns out I'm a real pick-up boy. But why is my face so similar to papa 11 12 that it has both ugly faces? And also grandma once said that my stupid nature was derived from papa tuh.." said Gery while whistling cheerfully because it managed to beat his papa.

Dave who hears about it becomes very upset and desperately wants to hit his son back but to no avail because Gery already expected to be hit by him again. So Gery immediately avoids him so as not to be hit.

Seeing that he had not succeeded in educating his son Dave could only complain to his wife who came to him.

"Darling how can we give birth to such an ungodly child like her? We are wasting our time and rice raising it. A useless child knows only fun. It would be nice if we have a child like Alex or Leana who is very smart and reasonable."

Lusy who saw her husband's complaint could only sigh because of her husband and child. The husband and son were not the first time like this so Lusy was already used to things like this. When they are at home they often argue even for trivial problems.

"What else is it? What made you fight again this time? Why do you always fight for trivial and unimportant problems. When did you get along, unlike now which is similar to cats and mice. Which each meet will chase and run away from each other." Said Lusy in a resigned tone.

Hearing his wife and mother ask, Dave and Gery report to each other what just happened to Lusy.

After Lusy heard the reports from her husband and son. Lusy again sigh made by her husband and son. In Lusy's mind she thought when her husband and son could become emotionally mature.

"Well, I'll wear it and not take it off no matter what!" Gery said with a tone of ogah-ogahan but Gery still went to wear his bulletproof vest. After Gery leaves Dave also follows to put on his own vest.

When Dave's family overcame their argument. Joe, Luke, and David have each been wearing their own vests.

Alex waits for his grandmother, Marie, Mimi, and Leana to give everyone a bulletproof vest to wear. Alex also delivers a bulletproof vest on Lusy who has finished talking to Dave and Gery.

After giving the vest to his family Alex also immediately put on his own vest. After they were all done wearing the vest Alex also handed out gloves to everyone to wear.

Leana also immediately gave the military backpack according to the name written on her backpack to her entire family.

Leana also explains the function of giving military backpacks to her family.

"Maybe you were told by Alex this morning. But no matter I will explain back, this backpack was given to you just in case one was accidentally separated from the others. You can wear the contents in the backpack as first aid until we can save you or until we can be reunited. The contents inside the backpack are medicines for first aid, insect repellent, change of clothes, food and drinks that can last for 2 days, map, compass, mancis, flashlight and rope. You can use everything when you are separated from the group and you are in a state of urgency. By the time we're together I'll have everything in stock so you don't have to worry."

After the family heard Leana's explanation they agreed to carry a military backpack despite the weight but this is the equipment they need for security if there is a separate accidentally.

After everyone wears a vest, gloves, and gets their own backpacks. And also after making sure there were no items left outside Leana then put the RV into his room.

Joe, Tee, Top and Hyu who saw Leana put such a huge RV into her space felt a little surprised.

Although Alex has said Leana's room is large and can hold a lot of stuff but before seeing it for themselves they are not so trusting but now it is much different after seeing it for themselves.

They were now trusting and zealous because it meant they could put in anything so they would not have to fear a shortage of supplies.

Seeing Leana have put the RV into the room the whole family began to walk into the forest.

The ones walking in front were Hyu and Alex with Hyu holding a scythe to open the path. Alex holds a sword in case a beast comes near.

Behind Alex is Elise, Luke, David, Mimi, Leana, Dave, Lusy, Gery, Marie, and Joe they are all in the middle of the group. Everyone was also holding their own weapons with the men protecting the women behind them.

And in the back row there is Tee and Top where each of them holds a gun in his right hand and a military knife in his left hand.
