Chapter 61

By the time Alex opened his eyes he was looking around. While doing this Alex sees his wife not far from his place. When he saw his wife was fine Alex also let go of his worries.

After seeing Leana, Alex saw the grandfather who was resting. Also the grandmother who was weak because she used too much power to heal Alex. After watching everything and making sure no one was hurt, Alex touched his mother's hand slowly.

Marie who felt her hands touched someone immediately lowered her head to pay attention to Alex. When Marie saw Alex was conscious, she was very happy and she unconsciously shed her tears because of the feeling of her son's awakening. Marie's tears fell on Alex's forehead without Marie noticing.

Alex, who knew her mother was crying, wiped her tears but raised her hand to wipe her tears. Alex felt his hands had no energy.

If it is true what is actually spouted by the snake. After thinking of this Alex was also worried about the others, for fear they would be like him. Because if this happens then the safety of their group will be very dangerous.

Alex also had no idea how long this paralysis would last. But Alex doesn't want to be pessimistic even though he's paralyzed at the moment but Alex reinforces himself by saying he can definitely make a move because he has to look after his wife and mother no matter what.

Alex also does not want to be too washed away with his current condition. Alex thought even though he was paralyzed at the moment whether his strength could still be used. He had to make sure of this because only in this way could he take care of his mother, wife, siblings, and other families.

To make sure Alex tried to feel the energy in his body. Not how long Alex felt his energy was still there. Then Alex wondered if he could use his powers without using his hands. Thinking of it this way Alex decided to try it.

Nor does he know where Joe's men are, his father-in-law, his uncle and Gery. Alex wanted to ask but hesitated because he suspected he could not speak as a result of his paralysis so Alex kept quiet.

Because Alex who kept quiet since Marie's kiss became confused. Marie wanted to ask but thought maybe Alex still couldn't adjust because she just woke up. Marie was silent while watching her son's condition.

But that's not true because Alex was moving his hand to touch it even though it was slow but still Alex could move so it shouldn't be. But Alex, who had been quiet from earlier, was also very strange, Marie thought. Because Alex can't just be quiet. As soon as he wakes up he'll definitely call his wife but this isn't Alex doing.

The more Marie analyzed Alex's condition the more scared she became. Therefore Marie decided to ask her son directly.

"Son...are you okay with the rhyme? Is there something wrong with your body? If there's any telling mama don't keep it to herself?" Marie said slowly.

Alex who heard his mother's voice could only look at her mother. Marie who saw this instantly knew her son was indeed a problem she did not know about. But Marie forced herself to calm down so that her son would not feel sad or depressed about his current state. However, Marie from the beginning had prepared herself to face the current circumstances.

Since there was no answer Marie could only proceed to ask so that she could know her son's current condition. "Son..is there a problem with your body?if so you blink your eyes once if you don't blink your eyes twice."

Alex blinked his eyes once after his mother finished asking. Seeing her son blink once, Marie became sad but did not want to show it. Marie asked her son again.

"Son..can't you speak? That's why just shut up? You can answer it as before."

This time Alex just kept quiet not responding to his question. Seeing this Marie was also confused then thought whether Alex himself was also confused by his own condition.

"Darling.you tried to talk to Mom!" Marie told Alex to ask him to talk to her. At the request of his mother Alex tries to speak.

Alex could open his mouth but no sound came out. Seeing this Marie knew her son could not speak. Marie also asked again.

"Darling..can't you move? Try moving your body!" Ask Marie to do it for Alex.

Alex tries to move his legs, hands and head. Marie saw Alex could do it. Marie was more confused. Marie then wondered if Alex just couldn't talk? But that's impossible because there's still something strange about Alex's body.

Marie thought to herself, Alex could move her limbs but with Alex's nature once she realized she would soon approach his wife. But that's not what Alex did. Then whether Alex can actually move his limbs but he can not lift his own limbs.

To confirm her conjecture, Marie directly asked her son back directly. "Darling..can't you lift your limbs? If you really blink your eyes once!"
