The Wedding Maze

The Wedding Maze
WM-16 |DECISION IN DECREE|

Winter can not concentrate on his work, he continues to think of Snow who has not been found by the man who deliberately rented with a fee not cheap. Snow's cell phone is dead and untraceable, making Winter careless when looking at his cell phone lying on the desk without any message from Snow.

Two hours passed, and for the umpteenth time his men gave word.

“Bos, we have found it.”

Winter stood up immediately to hear the news, Amora who was in the same room with Winter to be surprised.

“Quickly tell me where he currently is.”

In that instant, Winter ran out without even hearing anyone calling her name, including Amora. Winter ignores Amora who keeps trying to call and stop her steps.

Winter just wants to find Snow.

***

Actually, there's nothing Snow does here. He just sat quietly staring blankly at the abandoned fish pond that looks very dirty and the wind that blows on the shady trees around him. Snow also occasionally inhaled air while clenching his hands from the cold. He deliberately did nothing since morning, leaving Winter's house to avoid the man. Snow still can't accept Winter's treatment and remarks to her last night.

Like an empty bottle, in Snow's brain there was nothing. The hope that he hopes will be happy is apparently far from realized given how Winter only considers her as a woman he can treat cheaply.

Cherry Red Lips were slightly open when the tightness returned to the chest, his eyes closed slowly holding tears. Yes, Snow didn't want to cry anymore, he just had to pretend nothing happened as if, last night they were doing the natural and right thing as a married couple. He thought it was only necessary to do that, so that his heartache and trauma did not become more so.

Feeling for too long in the quiet park without visitors, Snow glimpsed the watch wrapped around his left wrist. Four in the afternoon, it was time for him to leave here, head to one of the places that sold ready-to-eat food, then go home.

Go home. Words that he did not expect at all, let alone having to meet Winter there.

“Hah... What should I do there?”

“Quite silence and welcome me home.”

Snow's shortest. He was alone here, but why now could such a sound as Winter could he hear? Is this a hallucination? That guy is a real bitch.

Winter who was stared at with a bead did not believe it should put on a pretentious face. He even ruffled his waist and twisted his tongue inside his mouth.

“I'm not a ghost, Snow. I'm real.”

“Then, why is Sister Winter here? Shouldn't it still be in the office?” snow replied calmly as he turned his face to look back at the clinging ponds and streets that were filled with leaves alternately. He refused, but his heart still seemed to want the mercy of Winter. Wearing right? She even wants to kneel at Winter's feet and beg for love and recognition of Winter's status as a wife.

“The company is mine. So I'm free to be there or not. None of your business.”

She was Winter, and such sharp sentences were her. Snow shook his head in disbelief with a trivial smile. He doesn't really like Winter's haughty attitude.

“Come back to sister's office. If you come here just to make sure that I don't run, take it easy, I'm not that type of person. I'll be back home.”

“Make me Chicken feet soup, fried chicken, and good meat balls. I want to have dinner at home with healthy food, not consume ready-to-eat food as you suggested this morning.”

“I'm not excited about cooking today. So sister Winter just bought the favorite restaurant sister.” said Snow flat, without expression that can be guessed easily by Winter.

“You think I married you to listen to that? Listen, I married you because—”

“I want to go from my sister's house.” cut Snow without seeing Winter who is now speechless with a face as expressionless as Snow. Between surprise and anger, Winter pulled the corner of her lips, presenting a grin to Snow who was completely unwilling to glance at her in the slightest.

“So, since I touched you last night, you silenced me, stayed away from me, and now, you want to leave my house? Whither? Go home to your parents?”

There was no response from Snow. The girl just lowered her head while watching her fingers creeping into the whitening. Winter stared intently, but his heart felt sliced because Snow did not want to see him.

“I give.” he continued, Winter does not know why his heart and speech always contradict lately. “Go there, and don't expect me to drop off and even pick you up.”

“I didn't ask brother to pick me up. I'll be back after feeling better.” again Snow cut off Winter's remarks quickly. His feelings are chaotic, and he does not want to be further aggravated by the painful and domineering sharp lines from Winter's lips. “Despite my coming back as per the last day of our deal, or even not returning at all, never come and intend to pick me up.”

One side of selfishness in Winter feels threatened. He doesn't want Snow hanging up their marriage like this, if Snow doesn't want to continue, Winter just wants everything to be clear.

What a pathetic marriage maze. It all started with the door they entered when they first started, wrong. And now, everything turns out to be this complicated. About their feelings.

“I know, sister has already said if brother and sister lover will marry later. So, why am I trying to survive that long there? Better I stay away, even disappear before a one-sided feeling from me, destroy myself.”

Winter clenched his hands. A reality slapped hard on his ego as the long string of sentences whipped from Snow's lips. The girl was right. If indeed from the beginning they are not in line, then why is it too far gone? It would be better if it ended now, wouldn't it?

Snow stood up, still not wanting to see Winter who had not even taken off the slightest look in his eyes for her.

“I won't sue sister any further. I'll give up on my own because I started on my own. So I'm leaving because of myself, not because of anyone. And for last night,” Snow choked in view of last night's events. He seemed like there was really no hope and didn't know what to say. “...we assume never happened anything.”

Snow held the Sling bag over his shoulder, grabbed a binder that he had used to write something, then turned his steps and left Winter still standing glued in place.

“Once you step away—”

Winter's voice made a hurried move Snow came to a halt for a moment.

“—don't expect to be back again.”

Snow only wanted to listen to that last sentence so that his heart would not waver to completely end. The bead is dewy, but all his strength he tried to keep the liquid from falling down his cheek.

His steps back to tread quickly to immediately move away from the figure of Winter. The man had even warned him from the beginning, but under the guise of awe and love, he was recklessly brushed aside and ignored everything. In fact, now Snow who had to bear the consequences of the feeling of awe was alone.

Fall off. Injured. And bleed. []
