Snow had almost forgotten his promise to return home after Winter had slipped out of sight. An old friend who used to live and be a neighbor of his home complex, reached out, offering Snow a friendship that had been lost.
The shiny black car rushes through the streets, splitting silently towards the place where Snow lives with someone he doesn't even want to see for now.
“So, you're married? Why didn't uncle Scott invite me?”
Snow only smiled, occasionally glancing at the presence of the man who forced him into the black Range Rover car and drove him home.
“Papa does not know the new address of your family home. By the way, is Kris married?”
Kristenn Keyworddy laughs. Be married? The lover only he has none.
“Not Snow. Mom hasn't given me permission to get married. Papa also still gives a lot of instructions to me to develop the business. My journey is still long.” he explained, staring at Snow at a glance, then back to look at the stretch of asphalt that tonight is a little filled with people who do not want to go anywhere. “Looks like I'm late, until you already have someone else.”
Snow thought it was a joke two former neighbors who had not met for a long time. The naughtiness just slid off Snow's lips. “Iya. Too late. Very late.”
Until finally, Kris's luxury car entered the elite residential area where Snow currently lives. Both are still fun playing jokes so Snow can momentarily forget the problems that are sticking out in front of the surface of the life he lives.
“Which one?”
“Eung?”
“Home, which one?”
Snow was ashamed of his own attitude. He was daydreaming about his childhood with the lovely Kristen. They grow up together despite their age, and Kris is always the older brother who looks after Snow. Until the separation of Kris' parents became the cause of their separation. Kriss lives with his mother who chooses to go out of town, and lives there together. His father, however, chose to remarry.
“It. Please stop a few meters before you get to the front of the house. My husband is being fierce.” I mean to want to joke, but Kris can not accept a problem into a joke that can be seen one eye. He had already felt in that position as a child, and it was very painful. Kris couldn't take Snow's words about his life for granted.
“Why do you want to be treated like that?” kris asked, pulling the handbrake lever as the car stopped a few meters from Snow and Winter's house.
Snow smiled bitterly.
“We are only in phase not in line. We are different directions, and we do not agree.”
“But that doesn't mean your husband can treat you that way. Isn't that so outrageous? Forcing a woman to obey her ego, isn't it excessive and..evil?”
“In your opinion,” Snow paused, trying to re-feel the desire that was being churned due to the emotions that overflowed and exploded like boiling water. “Is a farewell bad?”
Kris knows the direction and purpose of Snow's conversation. He turned to Snow for a moment, then looked back at the stretch of night outside the windshield of his car. “Do you want to part from him?”
Snow. There was little regret saying that to Kris, as the man was able to catch his point very quickly and precisely. Then he squeezed the edge of the big shirt he used while biting his lower lip to pain. His head nodded, confirming Kris' speech.
“Since the beginning, we did not love each other. And stupidly I, forced my feelings that from the first time I saw him, was already amazed. Idiotically. I am stupid.”
The speech that whipped from the lips like peach color became a painful whip that suddenly hurt Kris. She knows Snow is a jolly, cheerful girl and is always optimistic about the decisions she makes for herself. But this time, Kris was able to see the mist of despair that filled her face and clear eyes that were now turning soft.
“If parting is the best way for you, just do it. The decision will not be bad if you are happy after parting with him.”
...***...
Winter is not calm. It had been almost an hour he was pacing on the porch of the house waiting for the arrival of Snow who did not reveal the trunk of his nose.
For some reason, since Snow is thought to be pregnant—although not yet clearly visible—janin in her womb, Winter is more possessive. She did not want Snow to do things that would make her baby potentially disappear.
His arm was floating back in the air. Winter looked at the watch and the needle was already pointing at the nine-night figure. He was upset and frustrated, because he believed and let Snow go, instead of forcing him to go home together.
His fingers went down the mane, squeezing strongly with clasped teeth and one other hand ruffled the waist. “Sial! Where's she? Didn't he promise to come home?”
With an impatient step, Winter walks past a small park and walks out of the house area. But what he saw at this time, made his legs look like they were glued on the asphalt as if it felt hot burning from the tip of the foot to the head. His palms clenched tightly. His face changed pias, his jaw tightened.
There, Snow gets out of a shiny black car with the help of a man who has absolutely no idea who and what to do with Snow.
A grin appeared on the corner of Winter's lips. “Chh!” Winter squealing. “Does he want to repay my treatment to him all this time?” he murmured amid the anger that was in fact getting soaring. “Good. I'll wait for an explanation from him.”
Winter twists his legs, decides to leave the cold night air outside the house, decides to wait for Snow at home and asks for an explanation from the woman later. But despite everything that happened today, at least, he knew Snow was already within his reach.
And for some reason, it made his heart slightly turn relieved. []
