Most likely the answer that would be received if Snow asked Winter for permission to go to the bookstore was, no answer. Yes, the man was always like that, indifferent and not concerned at all with what he did and did. Except feeding Snow well and giving her a credit card that Snow can use anytime when Snow needs something without having to think about the bill at the end of the month, because everything is Winter's responsibility.
Time pointed to ten in the morning when Snow arrived at a world-renowned furniture store to buy a small shelf that he would put in the gazebo in front of the Winter house. Snow plans to collect guide books on household living, as well as some of his favorite comics as a deception in the house.
“You are looking for what kind of bookshelf, miss?” ask the employee when his steps stopped on the right side of Snow who was busy looking at the model of the stacking rack in the catalog of the store that was placed on a fairly high table.
“Ah, I want a minimalist bookcase. Can be displayed in the gazebo home.” he replied cheerfully with a smile while putting the catalog back on the table.
“Please follow me! We have the latest model!”
Snow again threw a carefree smile and walked behind the officer. Until they both stop at one corner of the room filled with various types of bookshelves that look tempting to Snow. Everything looks good and Snow wants to buy it all.
Snow put his attention on one of the dark brown shelves which is fairly simple. There were three undercarriage and all of them were covered by plain and thick glass doors. For a moment, Snow searched the price of the shelf.
“Wah, this is too expensive!” she muttered, and she took the initiative to call Winter and ask her husband for approval. “I intend to buy this one, but I have to ask permission first to my husband!” bright Snow who was taken by the store clerk. Then Snow reached into the bag and took his cell phone to contact Winter.
—
Just finishing a meeting with the office staff, Winter returned to the workspace and opened and re-examined some of the documents on his desk. And boring things are a priority for Winter until he feels really fed up.
Slamming his body violently, leaning on the back of his chair, Winter massaged the temple which began to feel so heavy. Think for a moment about what he went through today.
“Argh...” his sigh was frustrated, passing his breath into the air when he recalled the figure of Amora who was still silent himself.
Winter knows he's guilty. He even apologized and hoped that his lover would raise the peace flag so that he could return to work in peace as usual. But everything felt in vain, everything did not go according to his wishes and Amora was impressed not also want to respond to an apology from him. Then at the same time, the phone on his desk shook violently. Someone's name appeared on the display and made Winter even more careless.
With one quite rough grabbing motion, the phone has switched on its big palm and is ready to talk via air. Snow waited.
The vibration of the phone stops when the phone screen has been changed with a photo of the girl with a charming smile filled the display. Winter was fixated until the voice of the call from across back resuscitated him.
“Do I bother brother?”
“Tell me what's up, I have to get back to work!” he said tightly, there was not the slightest friendly tone that was thrown.
“Ah, alright! I was at IKEA and wanted to buy a bookcase. Does sister not mind?” ask Snow innocently.
Winter again passed a big missed breath, grabbed his forehead and massaged right at his temple once again. “For what?” ask her in a low tone.
“I want to collect some books, and put them in the front gazebo of the house. Can it?”
During Winter's life, never once did anyone speak in a whining tone to him. Snow was too much, he thought.
“Rak in my house there are quite a lot, do you not see the back shed? There are a lot of unused bookshelves!”
Usually, Winter wants to end the conversation immediately. I don't know why this time is different. Snow's voice seemed to be the savior of his soul from the sickening pile of files.
“You are already there!” suhut Winter is quick, do not want to be called evil because it forbids Snow to buy something that may be useless for Winter. “Select models that do not meet the gazebo! I don't want the place to be cramped and boring!”
There was an enthusiastic laughter being held at the telephone conversation. Snow sounded a small shriek hearing her approval. Even Winter subconsciously pulled the faint corners of her lips to form a smile as she heard Snow's voice in her ears again.
“Alright, I won't disappoint sister! I've found the right shelf, and you won't be disappointed. Thanks..”.
The phrase he often heard from others felt different when Snow said the sentence.
Unwilling to dissolve deeper with her own talk and feelings, Winter ends her phone call unilaterally. Then again grabbed the pile of paper with a little new atmosphere in him.
—
“Please take care of your payment and shipping address!” snow was full of happiness. He had even guessed that Winter would ban it, but not all, and Snow liked Winter as well as she does. A smile expands perfectly while his shoulders are lifted when both of his palms managed to slip inside the pocket of jeans he was wearing.
Snow planned to rush back home soon after this. But everything changed direction when he accidentally met his upperclassman first, while still sitting in the upper middle bench.
“I heard you're married?” asked the handsome young man in front of Snow while again sipping a warm drink from his cup of drink.
And yes, they just arrived at a contemporary cafe located not far from IKEA.
“Yes, sister heard it too? Though I've taken pains to hide this!” the chirp was witty, making the young man also hold back laughter.
“Why hidden? I'm not even okay if you're married, we can still be friends, right?”
Of course Snow's heart was pounding hearing that. They once had feelings for each other. They loved each other.
Snow smiled stiffly, even spontaneously took his strawberry juice and gulped it greedy because of nervousness.
“Sorry late, but congratulations on the wedding!” the young man said as he reached out his congratulatory hand.
In a slow motion Snow received the helping hand. Grasping each other with a smile rising from each other's lips.
“Thank you.”
Until the clockwork continues to spin along with the accompaniment of classical music that softly touches the hearing, Snow dissolves in togetherness with people who really once filled his heart. Until the ringing of the cell phone from inside the pocket of Snow's bag surprised the two, and Snow rushed to reach out from there after the man before him nodded twice.
“Ha-hello?”
”Where are you? Don't make me bother with these insignificant items you bought!” ketus Winter across, immediately made Snow remember the bookshelf he bought two hours ago.
Snow was wide-eyed, rushing over and leaving after hearing Winter's scolding.
“Ba-good! I'm home now.”[]
