Chapter 100: Knowing the Enemy's Plan

In the royal capital of Svardia, Hermund who was with his entire family who were relaxing spoke in a private room.

The arrival of the Night Raven members arrived from the association branch in the Ryvalt duke's territory.

The Night Raven member gave Fermund a letter that had been stamped with the symbol of the owl association.

Fermund picked it up and opened the envelope, he read some of it.

"There's a military ship in the town of Rovalor heading for the King's Domain?" Fermund said in a statement

"True, it was suspected that they were sending an envoy to the capital of the King's Domain"

"Strandborg yeah, he wanted to make an alliance with the confederacy to deal with me, very stupid"

Rulker and his three sisters smiled while Edwina was at a loss to see them smile.

"The king must have rejected his alliance request" Felis said

"Why?" Ask Edwina

"Because her son is in my hands"

Edwina asked herself because she was not aware of it.

"Maybe the confederacy will be in alliance with Strandborg after they redeem their son to me, but I will not receive their ransom"

"The wise decision, the king will be difficult until he is half dead trying to get his son back" Levina said

Rulker laughed and said, "You are so cruel Miss Levina, but even though they are our enemies, they are parents who love their children"

Fermund smiled and confirmed the words of his father-in-law, and he told his plans to all his family.

Edwina again surprised when he heard the words of his father, he did not believe Fermund to coup his uncle for the throne, during this Edwina thought Fermund ascended the throne because his mother was sick.

Levina said to Edwina "Are you afraid of your own husband now?"

"Of course not sister-in-law, I trust my husband to do the dirty work of being forced" Edwina replied.

Edwina was seen continuously by Fermund when answering Levina's question.

Edwina simply smiled at Fermund and his hand was held by Fermund.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of you, just from birth I've played tricks, and I won't play tricks with you"

Everyone just saw the two of them making out.

While envoys from the King's Domain were ready to depart for the capital of Svardia, they sailed from the nearest port of the capital.

As they passed through the Svardia region, they continued to be stopped and the messenger said the same sentence repeatedly.

One ship was heavily guarded by the Svardian fleet and several soldiers at the pier, and three emissaries carrying crates containing gold coins entered the horse-drawn carriage prepared by the city's ruler.

They were about to be escorted, more precisely watched from close to the capital.

"I will release your prince without ransom, the prince will be returned safely I promise"

"So we'll have to wait for your wedding to finish first and then bring the prince back?"

Fermund nodded hearing the envoy confirm his words.

The envoys were sent home with their gold.

They had no choice and obeyed Fermund.
