Chapter 23: The Purge

The forces under Vasileus' command moved deeper into the territory of the five elite members who were their enemies.

They raided in various places in the five territories of their enemies, the internal war between the clans was fierce, the enemy cuisine managed to survive, but the forces of Vasileus pounded them all.

Equivalent assassins also spread to find 5 people of their main enemy, namely elite members of the Valdis clan.

One of the assassins spread in the use of important buildings was seen to find 5 people who fled to the basement.

Vasileus bound all his captives, he as the clan chief, still had compassion for his fellow Valdis clan members, he had the enemy soldier surrender.

"You give up, even though we are at odds now, but we are still brothers, stop your resistance, it will end with our victory"

Vasileus with Fermund ordered all the soldiers to the assassins who were besieging a small house that was the door to the basement.

They also included those captives and the clan soldiers gathered them in front.

Fermund advanced with Vasileus, behind them was Adreis and Felis whose body was covered with enemy blood, and Feona who was a little away from her sister because she did not want to splash blood,there were also Vasileon and Vasilea who participated in the raid.

"Get out you old bastards, you must die because you dare to act as the greatest" said Fermund

The five men shouted in disdain at Fermund from the basement.

"You're just an orphan who has a little bit of luck to have power, you want our lives, then come here"

"Bad as you are, come out here and accept death for your crimes, we have all the evidence of your crimes" Vasileus said

Vasilea went forward and read all the crimes committed.

"Five members of the elite, we give you the death penalty for what you've done to target the property of the rightful clan leader, and we have information about your other crimes"

Vasilea read out all the brand secret information obtained from Fermund, on the paper it was written they had found a magic stone mine.

They did not inform the clan of their discovery and instead exploited the magic stone quarry and stockpiled a large amount of magic stones for sale by pegging for a high price,and the three dead elders were involved as supporters of those five elite members.

All the subordinates of the five elite members were shocked to hear that, their leader turned out to have another voracious side, they always heard their five leaders talk about equality and justice, they always heard their five leaders talk about equality and justice,but they are aware that their leaders are greedy hypocrites.

The five people along with their subordinates who were inside the dungeon were simply speechless.

"Adreis, destroy that big door, if there's any barrier magic at the gate then use all your power"

Andreis understood Fermund's words, he immediately took a square to perform a stabbing motion.

He held his sword vertically, and the black aura coming out from his body fused with the great sword, and he moved swiftly targeting the small house.

Like the wind he drove with the condition of the hand holding the sword vertically, the tip of the sword hit the barrier wall, then smashed it with little effort.

Soon Fermund ordered the assassins to capture them alive.

The door of the small house was forcefully opened by the assassins, upon hearing the sound of the door having been opened, the five people and the bottom panicked and immediately picked up a weapon and hid in the corner of the room,hope they can survive and find a way out.

But they would not survive, the Asaassins looked down, there was a ladder leading underground, they immediately headed down.

They looked at the various rooms that were divided underground, they looked for the five people in all the rooms.

One by one the assassins checked all the rooms, but they did not find the five people, until at the last room they had to check, the assassins already knew if they were hiding there, they immediately rushed to break the door.

When they broke down the door, there was someone who did a surprise attack, the assassin who broke the pinyu was injured.

All of the assassins killed the five sorcerers, the injured assassin was taken out and the others were overcoming the resistance of the five elite members.

"How long ago, how many of the five people did the fight" said Fermund

Adreis sheathed his greatsword and approached Fermund

"Your Majesty, let me go in and arrest them"

"Alright, don't kill them, catch them alive"

Adreis nodded and advanced towards the small house, suddenly all the assassins crashed out of the small house and almost hit Adreis.

Then the five men appeared while carrying their own magic weapons, Adreis but with immediate restraint faced the five men, while Fermund protected his younger brother by being in front of them.

After a long period of fierce fighting, Adreis could slowly subdue those five people, and snatch away all of their magic weapons.

The Vasileus soldiers immediately caught the five of them, then they were all made unconscious and taken to the field, then chained to the pole and dried in the daytime with the hot sun.
