Chapter 24: The Party

Vasileus ordered several guards to watch over them.

All the subordinates of the five surrendered and were willing to obey the clan head and the king, Vasileus gathered everyone in the great hall, Hermund came forward and said something to them.

"Now the Valdis clan has given its allegiance to me thoroughly, and now I have decided that all the elite members will be the protectors of the clan from now on"

They all cheered to the Four Clan Protectors that had just been formed

After saying that, Hermund handed it over to Vasileus to explain what Fermund had told Vasileus.

"I know what you're thinking, but I made the new law of the gospel in accordance with the principles of our forefathers,so I will make a law that does not deviate from the holy law and that does not pose a limit in the era that is developing as it is now"

Everyone agreed with that, but they had to look deeper into the book of the Valdis Holy Codex, and formulate laws.

"And I will establish a body of law-keepers sworn to our ancestors to remain clean and neutral, I name this body Codex Guardian, and a supreme judge, he said,an honest man will lead this body"

After saying it all, everyone agreed, and from that very moment the Valdis clan began to undergo a movement toward better change.

And while Vasileus was with Fermund in a secret room, Vasileus lowered his head and said something to Fermund

"Thank you for your noble help, now my clan will rise up and head in a better direction"

"I'm also happy that if this clan supports me from now onwards, now I only have one easy thing to accomplish before I officially become king"

Fermund returned to the palace with Adreis and his two sisters, Felis and Feona, they had clearly witnessed a "theater" shown by their brother

Now that they were having a small party in the hall, Hermund would give a word of welcome.

They drank tea and ate a lot of cakes and snacks neatly arranged on the table, the nobles spoke happily compared to the magic stones they had.

The magic stone given by Vasileus was the largest magic stone, he gave nine magic stone seeds, and then Fermund told him to split them into many to amount to 109 small magic stone seeds the size of a hand.

The giving from Fermund made everyone happy, and they also became more eager to be close to Fermund, obviously because of the benefits provided.

Of all the nobles who got the magic stones, most of them instantly kept them either well, and the rest showed off.

"Help King Fermund!!, and may riches cover it" cried the noble who had always flaunted his magic stone

All the nobles cheered, following the man, Hermund knew this was something a sycophant did, but he let it go and continued to talk to the two dukes.

"King, what will you do after this, when there will be crowned" said the duke from the southern region

"I still can't be crowned that fast Duke Hernoth, I must bring home all the soldiers who fought in the north by bringing victory, and stopping them"

Fermund explained that to the two dukes, he could easily win the war that occurred in the north, but whether their enemy, the Valmurg cult, would stop to attack.

Fermund had a mind if the enemy kingdom always carried out an attack every one year to drain the kingdom's economy for war affairs until the development process and other affairs that require funds were also hampered.
