Chapter 30: Striking With Full Power

In the early morning of noon, after the elite troops came, they immediately stood shoulder to shoulder to rebuild some of the damaged buildings.

All the soldiers took off their armor, and they marched in front of the duke of Nordford and Adreis, Nordford said a few words before starting their work.

"Before we begin, I want to thank the Valdis clan, I have heard the news, I thank you all for healing the soldiers in our army"

Saying that the witch of the Valdis clan became flattered and happy.

"And also I thank the commander Adreis and our hope, the elite Sky Hunter squad, once this job is done, we'll party, and tomorrow, let's destroy them"

After everything was done, they rested, all the soldiers who became construction workers were queuing up to get food.

They took shelter from the scorching sun and ate potato stews and beef, and dipped bread in the stew and ate it with great gusto.

When evening came, they cleaned themselves in the warm water bath around the defense base.

Now all the soldiers are on standby to patrol and keep watch, while the rest of them are cooking in the kitchen for the evening party.

Four long tables are arranged horizontally with many chairs in the courtyard near the barracks and large houses.

Soldiers who cook food serve a lot of food, they take a lot of ingredients in storage warehouses and make five types of food.

Duke Nordford brought four barrels of gingger ale for the soldiers' drinks.

After all the food was gone, they prepared to stand guard, all the soldiers who had not had their turn to guard, they slept in the barracks soundly.

The infantry took loot in the form of enemy armor and weapons, and then they piled the bodies of their enemies in the forest to be eaten by wild animals.

They returned with the loot placed in the large pouch they had brought, they also reported to the duke about the number of enemy troops

"Everyone goes back to sleep, if anyone has entered the time to take turns to stay awake, then immediately to the position and stay awake"

The soldiers made their way to the border region, their destination being the Garlon hills, where their enemies were located, but before that, they had to pass through their first destroyed base,maybe there are a lot of enemies occupying the territory.

It didn't take long to reach the first base, they just had to pass through a deep river, so Nordford built a huge bridge to connect the road.

After the large army passed the bridge, from afar visible debris from the wall of the first defense base.

Their arrival was realized by enemy archers, after a while, hordes of cavalry soldiers came forward to attack them

Duke Nordford ordered the heavy infantry troops to set up a shield wall Formation, while behind them, the storm troopers had prepared to aim at the troops.

Andreis immediately told the Storm Archer line to be on the right and left side of the shield wall formation
