Chapter 33: The Boring Journey

The envoys continued their journey from the port city after sailing long titled, may it not take long to reach the capital, they just headed straight to the palace to meet Fermund.

All the people who saw the messenger and the bodyguard walking in the crowd, when the people saw the white robe with the golden symbol of light, they could tell that they were from the great temple of the god Oreneia.

All the people there respect them, it is customary if the people respect the people who come from the big temple.

They continued to walk towards the palace, as they looked at the palace in front of them, just as the guard soldiers greeted and said the purpose of their arrival politely.

"You're all from the great temple, do you want to meet the noble Fermund?" Ask the guard

"Right, we want to meet the future king" the envoy replied

Envoys and bodyguards were ushered into the palace, they would be taken to the throne room to meet Fermund.

While Fermund was still busy with his work, Feona came to him and said the envoy had arrived.

Fermund rushed towards the throne room, he had to come first in the throne room, after he had walked quickly he had already arrived before the big door of the throne room.

Fermund opened the door slowly and there was only Felis with butler's grandfather.

The two men turned to the door, the conversation stopped and the butler's grandfather looked down and greeted.

"Hail your majesty"

"Hmm, yes" replied Fermund

"I heard from Feona, the message has come, so you have to come first, no, it would be strange if the king came after the messenger who came first" Felis said

"True, now I'm just sitting and waiting for the messenger to come"

Fermund sat on his throne, on his left side there was Felis and Grandpa butler, they were waiting for the messenger to arrive in a moment.

The sound of the door opening shocked the two of them, and unexpectedly, the mission came with Feona.

"My brother's good work, you're delivering a messenger from the high priest"

Feona smiled and drew closer to the right side of the throne.

"Prince Fermund, you have made our high priest wait for all the problems in the kingdom to be resolved, now that everything is done immediately go to the great temple of the god of light"

"I can leave right now if you don't want to wait any longer" Fermund said

The envoy paused for a moment and gave Fermund to prepare to be ready.

"If you want to go now, then you should be ready now"

Felis and Feona could only accept everything their brother commanded, and now Fermund went with the messenger south.

As usual when Fermund wanted to travel, he was always on a horse-drawn carriage, after he entered the horse-drawn carriage, beginning the journey from the capital to the city of Nostmir, where the great temple of the god of light Oreneia was located.

Fermund was only escorted by the three strongest butler assassins, they were the butler's grandfather's golden eggs.

They headed for the city of Sirnest again, and upon entering the city, they were approached by a suit-wearing man along with dozens of soldiers waiting at the gate.

The ruler of the city turned out to come directly to meet the king, he saluted the king and provided a ship to go to the port city in the south, and,the ruler of the city knew that the messenger of the great temple passed through his territory to the capital to escort Fermund to the great temple.

Fermund and his envoys were greeted with friendly support by the city's rulers at the military base.

"Your highness, I took the initiative to provide a full-fledged military ship to escort you to the city of Nostmir"

"Thank you, I don't know your name yet, tell me your name?" My name is noble Bensfreed.

The anchor was lifted, and the tied sail was lowered, with a good wind, the ship sailed away from the dock at full speed.

The ship's journey was very slow though at full speed, perhaps they would reach the port city by nightfall.

It turned out that what Fermund really thought was happening, the ceiling was orange, but they were still in the middle of the ocean, he and five people from the temple entered the second layer deck.

The sun had set, all the lanterns had been lit, and Hermund and the five messengers had eaten with the captain in the captain's room, while the three butler assassins stood guard at the captain's door

After the meal was over, a crewman who was monitoring at the mast of the ship saw the glowing land.

All the crew gathered at the bow and saw the port city, they arrived at the port city as directed.

The ship went to the empty dock and lowered the anchor, they saw the glitter of the port city with the illumination of the city.
