Chapter 45: The Failed Eye

Their fight is fierce, it takes a lot of energy to overcome the leader.

The soldier put another letter on the table and waited for the order.

They were calm hearing that, it seemed like the Night Raven organization was reliable, but they had no news from the city of Ridfon, they did not know the situation there yet.

The eyes of the eyes in the city of Ridfon have not started the action, because Garvus with a small army of Veterans soldiers have come to the city.

Garvus left early in the morning for the city of Ridfon with his chosen veterans.

They were all talking and laughing, they were drinking wine during the hot day, they saw the Night Raven members gathering and having lunch.

"Are they the members of the Night Raven the king's consignment?" Ask Garvus

Hearing that Truman was curious about the members of Night Raven.

"Yes, they are assigned to monitor and guard around the city to overcome the enemy who is hiding" Vasileon replied

Truman wanted to know more and inquired about what he had in mind.

"No, they were an assassin organization and eyes established for the purposes of the secret association that was the formation of the king"

Truman was surprised to hear that, the king who was well known and liked to trade turned out to have secret accomplices who were ready to fulfill his orders

Duke Nordford who saw the shocked face of the city lord immediately calmed him down.

"Don't worry Mr. Truman, this time they came just to monitor the presence of a hidden enemy while protecting our troops"

Truman was relieved to hear that and he drank his wine to calm himself down.

The four of them came to the big barracks in the city and saw the combined training, the veterans trained their physiques and gave the teaching on tactics and strategies,and there were veterans who formed two squads of soldiers to simulate the war using the combat formation taught.

"Very great!, this is what I want, military training, thanks to Mr. Garvus, we will fight together to attack other cities if you decide" Truman said

"Now we are resting, and maybe we will move again after our king has managed to take care of his territory" Garvus said

The exercise ended in the afternoon, all the troops returned to their respective places, during rest time, they cleaned their sweaty bodies in the baths that were made yesterday

The troops dug up the soil and coated the layer with mixed volcanic ash and water, after the layer of volcanic ash was flat and dry, they filled the clean water for the soldier to bathe.

The eyes were fixed to move when night fell, they were eyeing the city lord in his mansion.

As usual their movements were seen by several Night Raven members who spread in various places including the city lord mansion guarded by three assassins.

"Turn on the signal" said one of the assassins guarding the residence of the city lord

The red light signal flashed through the sky, and the few of them that went to the source of the signal were released, because it could be that the enemy heading for the residence was just a diversion to lure all the assassins to one place.

And sure enough there were some people in red who came and spread smoke in the army tent, all the Blood Ruby members sent to the city did the action,night Raven's assassin warned everyone not to panic or they would be killed by the enemy in the chaos.

Apparently they intend to steal, he spied or sabotage the Svardians.

All the troops instantly took their weapons, including the elite Sky Hunter troops who took their weapons and kept them from being stolen.

"Kill them, grab the gun, hurry!" Said a man from the mob of enemies

All the Sky Hunter warriors became one, they were protected by the heavy infantry troops that attacked the enemy.

All the men in red were fighting the heavy infantry, the Nordford duke and Garvus were under protection, but Vasileon came forward against them.

"Everybody follow me!, we slaughter these thieves!"

The infantry troops stormed them, but the rapid movements of the Blood Ruby members left them wounded and retreated.

Vasileon made it difficult for the Blood Ruby members with his attacks, so that the assassins could stop them and capture them all.

They introgate in the same way that seems to be the typical way of the Night Raven organization, which is to put a poisonous centipede to bite the leg of someone who is about to be interrogated.

In the way they did, there were three people who died slowly from silence, and the rest revealed their identities and objectives.

They locked them in tents with tight security, their plan was to send them to the capital tomorrow morning, to be handed over to the king.

"They are so powerful that our soldiers are severely wounded, now being treated by the healing magician brought by Mr Truman" duke Nordford said
