Chapter 77: Before the Emperor Comes

After he read the information provided by duke Ryvalt, Hermund planned to see firsthand the preparations for his meeting.

At the meeting all the leaders of the country will come together with all the royal families and all the big families in the military of the two countries will gather.

"I'm going to duke Wenster's territory to prepare a trip for me"

Seblum he went Fermund almost forgot to convey something to him.

"I forgot something, tell all the military families to go to Duke Wenster for a meeting"

"So early this morning they had gathered there and prepared for the great meeting my king" the minister replied

"All right then"

Minister Rundolph went to call the Royal Guard and prepare for his journey.

After that Fermund headed to his two sisters to tell him that he was going west tomorrow.

Fermund, looking for his sister who always relaxes in the park, finds them in a gazebo.

"The three of you are here"

"Is brother looking for us?" Ask Feona

Fermund entered the gazebo and kissed his sister's two heads and embraced her.

"As you all know, tomorrow I'll go to duke Wenster's territory"

Hearing that they both wanted to come, but Fermund stopped them.

"You guys in rash, don't come, surely this meeting will be boring, you better be at home"

They did face melas in front of her brother, and Fermund touched their face and left with a reminder.

"I'm leaving soon, you're here, and Levina, please take care of my sister"

"Just calm my cousins, I'll take care of them" as Levina waved.

The Royal Guard had usury in front of the palace, they were carrying a very nice horse carriage.

They all lowered their heads, and then Fermund got into the horse carriage.

Without waiting for a long time Fermund immediately told them to move quickly.

The horse-drawn carriage ran through the deserted road connected to the gate, they were out of the capital now, they turned west and continued to speed.

The western region was very close to the capital, hence they had already entered the western region.

Fermund headed for a large city where the meeting was to be held, he saw a map of the kingdom, their destination being the city of Poltres.

"Your highness!, the city of Poltres is near, we will enter it" said the royal guard who spoke near the window of the horse-drawn carriage.

They just entered the city without inspection, because the archers on the wall saw the Royal Guard escorting the horse carriage.

In a moment Fermund will descend on the mansion of duke Wenster, he walks through his people who pull over on the side of the road.

After a while, the horse-drawn carriage stopped, Hermund was greeted by Duke Wenster and four military families - the Ritzer family, Brunther, Lormein, and Grivans.

They bowed to Fermund and said salan at the same time.

"Welcome, your majesty!"

Fermund just smiled, he held the shoulder of duke Wenster and said "have you prepared well?"

They dined outside, so that Wenster took merela to a white tent with tables and chairs.

They all sat down, so the wenster told the culprit to bring some food out of the kitchen.

They waited while talking to each other with stale bases first.

"All of you from military families have gathered, and I can't believe Miss Lisvia came here to represent the Lormein family" Fermund said

"I never showed up because I was always in the glorious south" Lisvia replied

"That's right, the Loreim family has a base behind the mountains in the southern region" Rhogan said

Garvus held the back of his head and said, "I don't think the emperor will come here, we just entered into an alliance with the empire and the emperor wants to hold a military meeting"

Fermund smiled and said "i don't think this meeting is necessary, but the emperor insisted on holding it and said he would come for another conversation"

"Right, the purpose of the meeting they want is not to overcome Griffin Rider which has a barrier protector, because we already have a solution to face the barrier then there is no need for a meeting" said duke Wenster

"As your majesty said, maybe they have something else to discuss?, we don't know either" Lisvia guessed

Fermund raised the glass and asked to toast with them, and it just so happened that the waiter had brought his meal.

They all took forks and knives and small plates.

They took the food, some were mixing two or three foods served on one plate, some were eating them separately.

Fermund will be with four military families in the mansion of duke Wenster, they will wake up early and be ready to wait for the emperor's arrival.

After lunch, Hermund toured the palace with four men from military families, heading to the hall, where the meeting was held.

They opened the pintun of the room and saw two semicircular tables put together, there was a hole in the middle of which was placed a decoration in the form of a small gold statue.

On all the walls were the flag of the kingdom of Svardia and the empire of Grundwald which was mounted around the wall, all the curtains of two large windows were opened, the light of the sun entering the room.

All the rooms in the mansion were cleaned and heavily guarded by soldiers.

"I didn't expect that the Hall room could be this good if it was decorated"

The sun slowly set as they focussed to see the preparations, they all entered the dresser and cleaned their bodies.

Fermund was now bathing with four of my men, while on the other hand Lisvia was bathing with the wife of duke Wenster.

They gather in the dining room for dinner immediately before going to bed early and getting up early.

They fill their stomachs with food, you happy people with good food.

"Good meat will look ordinary without wine, drink the wine" said duke Wenster.

After their stomachs filled, they did not fall asleep immediately, Hermund and the four men from the military family were in the living room.

They just relax while drinking tea and eating biscuits.

Fermund did not linger there long, wanted to sleep immediately, the four men followed their king to sleep in the living room.

Now that only duke Wenster and his wife were left, they were always making out when there was no one else.

As usual the person who goes to bed early will wake up early, Hermund opens the window and breathes fresh air early in the morning, he changes clothes and wears perfume.

This morning Fermund did nothing until the emperor came and began the meeting, so he sat down on the sofa of his room and read a book.
