Chapter 78: City Defense

Now Fermund was reading a book in the morning when he woke up he was waiting for the rough arrival and the rest of his family.

The combined forces crossed the border and headed towards the city, from afar they saw four people in front of the gate as well as a rather large tent on the left side of the gate.

They stopped before entering the shooting range of the arrows.

The four men advanced towards Strandborg as if carrying scrolls to hand over to Strandford.

But after they got a little closer to Strandborg, an archer shot an arrow to the ground right in front of the four men.

"We came here peacefully and you still want to attack us, absolutely savage" said the old man wearing black armor and holding a scroll.

Strandborg scolded him and told the archer to leave, so he turned to look at the old man and asked "is there something he wants to talk about?"

"This is a letter from the ruler of the city of Alsena who controlled the city of Miridia"

Strandborg got off his horse and unrolled the scroll and read it.

"It's not a trap, is it?"

"All right, we're going to get close to the city and I want to talk to your master"

The army approached the wall and built their tent, while Strandborg and two city lords entered the tent.
