Chapter 96: Military Disappearance

The fleet of Svardia won the battle at sea again, they brought the spoils and the captives.

Beryton gathered all the captives on two ships and sent them to the regions of Gothwand and Wirnolia.

The enemy soldiers saluted the admiral because they were released without paying a ransom, and could return to their families.

Beryton said the celebration was with the city's rulers, they prepared the party.

Then Beryton spread messengers throughout Svardia and explained about the attack from the confederacy.

He also made known the great news that the Svardian Armada had captured the prince of the confederation.

He moved to Fermund, awaiting the arrival of his future wife-to-be and father-in-law at the port of Sirnest.

Fermund, with his three brothers accompanied by his minister and Silford, awaited the arrival of the entourage from the region of Bleisenerg.

That afternoon they were waiting at the dock, not long after there was a ship coming, at the flagpole they saw a purple flag.

The ship approached and docked, and Rulker waved to Fermund, and Hermund waved.

Rulker nodded and and went down with Edwina who was wearing a luxurious orange lacy outfit.

Edwina wore a black hat with a net covering half of her face.

When Edwina introduced herself, Hermund simply smiled and turned red.

They all enjoyed Fermund who first blushed in embarrassment.

They laughed with their mouths shut, and there was also a shame to see the couple.

Fermund held Edwina's hand, they walked together.

Edwina was ashamed to hear the words of her father, while Fermund just laughed and responded.

Levina whispers to her sister-in-law the truth about Fermund.

"Do you know that Fermund can be a ruthless man"

"What do you mean sister-in-law?" Ask Edwina

"if there's an enemy of your future husband trying to find a cause for it, he'll quickly destroy it"

After whispering Edwina, Levina calmed her down.

Edwina saw the three Fermund sisters staring at her, she breathed and saw Fermund calm down.

Fermund ordered the soldier to do something.

"Admiral Beryton came with the prince"

The soldier looked down and faced back to leave

"I'm not done yet, and for the booty, just scatter it to all the ports in my territory to learn how to make it"

The soldier turned towards Fermund and lowered his head, then left.

"Now, since the prince is in our hands, our enemies will stop for a while" the minister said

"Truely, let's use this time to prepare for marriage" Rulker REPLIED

Silford who stopped eating headed for the pigeon nest at the back of the palace.

He slipped a small paper scroll containing the information conveyed earlier to be sent to the imperial palace.

Silford returned to the dining room to return to eat.

In the end the news of the second defeat of the confederate fleet and the capture of the King's Domain prince had spread.

The spread of information began with residents of the town of Rolkin and prisoners sent back to their homes.

Fermund's other enemy Strandborg was silent on hearing all the information about the battle.

He felt that he had been defeated by the military triumph of the Svardian kingdom about protecting the port.

Neutral parties such as the theocratic kingdom of Avelion and the city-state of Lordum also did not respond to the battle.
