It feels, the dining table at his house is too spacious to be filled by only two people. There are still more empty seats left, than occupied ones.
Leah's mood has not fully recovered. She was still upset that her phone was not picked up by her husband. Even if Aron had slept last night, Aron at least sent a message this morning. Leah recognized her husband who always woke up early.
Anie realizes that Leah hasn't stopped thinking about Aron. Anie bribed food into her mouth. His gaze was directed straight at Leah who was just stirring up the food on her plate.
"Leah, you know that mall that just opened a month ago, right?" Anie broke the silence at the dinner table.
"Mm, yes." Leah was still stirring her food. "What is the same mall?" ask Leah. The next time he looked at Anie.
Anie swallowed her food first before returning to speak. "I heard that there are a lot of good things sold there. Even the clothes, bags, watches branded quite complete there." Anie gulped down her drinking water in the glass. "How about we go there this afternoon? It's been a long time since we both left. You want to, right?" take Anie.
"No, you're just. I'm lazy to go everywhere." Leah put her cutlery on the plate.
"Come on, Leah." Anie kept persuading the woman. "Aren't you bored at home? I even want to go on vacation abroad," Anie said with eyes glaring.
Leah blinked her pair of eyes. Anie's words had just caught Leah's attention, until she had an idea in her head.
"Anie," call Leah. In just a matter of seconds, Leah's countenance turned even more radiant.
"What's? You want to come with me for a walk to the new mall?" Anie expressed enthusiasm. "Come on! I'll get ready after this."
"Then, what?" Anie's response was relaxed, she even prepared food into her mouth.
"You want to go on vacation, right?" ask Leah.
"Yes." Yeah." Anie nodded. "Why? You want to take me on vacation? Have you been looking for the right destination?" cerocos Anie's.
"Please let me take you on vacation." Leah smiled meaningfully. "We can follow Aron to his new home, all the way to the city."
Anie screeched, "What?" Leah was speechless at the reaction shown by Anie just now. "Leah, please don't make trouble with Aron! He'll kill us when you and I come to his new home. Didn't Andrea know Aron had two wives?"
"Then, we don't have to go see Aron in his new home. We can rent a hotel, and keep an eye on our husbands from afar ..."
Anie shook her head. "No, stop, Leah." Leah looked at Anie, sharp. "It's not that I don't want to accompany you to go see Aron. You know what our husband looks like. Aron's people are everywhere. So, before we get caught, we better find it safe."
It's too risky for Leah and Anie to catch up with Aron— where the man lives with his new wife now.
This is the difference between Leah and Anie. Leah is using her feelings too much, even though she already knows how the character of the man. As for Anie, she was too afraid to look for trouble to Aron. Even though the man was their husband, Aron was still the one they should be wary of. Aron is like running water. Seemed calm, yet dangerous. Anie can't imagine if anything happens to her or Leah, if Aron actually finds them out of Borneo without Aron's knowledge.
"I miss Aron" muttered Leah. "How can I meet the man if my phone calls never get a response from him?" luh Leah nelangsa.
