Arriving in front of Wanda's room, the servants and soldiers who were guarding outside the room stupefied to see Wanda being carried by a man who was Yalan.

"greetings emperor Tang" said those who kneeled in salute.

"stand up, I'm just dropping off your princess" said Yalan, who was about to take Wanda down.

"can I go inside, my feet cannot be moved." whispered Wanda in Yalan's arms.

"can I come in?" yalan asked them politely.

They were stunned to hear Yalan's request, "please the emperor." said one of the maidservants who opened the room door for the two.

Inside room…

"how much did you drink?" tanya Yalan was standing beside Wanda's bed.

"not much, just one bottle" Wanda replied straightforwardly.

"actually what happened to me!?" his inner being that could not control his every action was like being controlled by someone.

"alright, then I'll go." said Yalan who turned towards the door.

Wanda quickly sat down and pulled slowly on the tip of Yalan's robe, "brother, is that really you?" he said slowly.

Yalan did not move or look at Wanda.

"have you forgotten me?" ask Wanda for a second time.

Hearing the soft tone of Wanda's voice made Yalan's heart feel sick.

"don't tell me that, I'm still Yalan for you" he said, gently rubbing Wanda's hair.

"stop talking, and go to sleep quickly, or you'll get sick" he continued, calling Wanda to sleep.

"good night" he added by gently rubbing the right brow corner of Wanda.

Outside palace…

Aqira and Jeni walk together towards the road of their respective homes.

"what poison did he add in the drink." muttered Jeni who walked over slightly staggering.

"not poison, but you're greedy." said Aqira who had to call Jeni walking.

"can I help?" asked Jilixu who was standing on the street alone in ordinary folk clothes.

Aqira stared silently at Jilixu without moving a single bit from where she was standing.

Aqira took off Jeni's hand that was coiled around her neck, "no, it's just that she's afraid of bothering you." she replied.

"The chen? are you inside?" aqira asked who was waiting outside the door of Lin Chen's room.

"there's no one?" he murmured who looked around him.

Aqira returned to her room in a hurry. As expected, a piece of paper was left behind by Lin Chen for Aqira.

"i have to go back to the mountain, take care of the clinic for a few days" said Aqira, who read the letter.

"huff..it seems like I have to overtime." he muttered who let out a long sigh.

"hail the prince." Leng Qi said to Xiao Yan who was sitting on his bed.

Aqira went inside while Leng Qi stood guard outside. He started treatment on the wound that was on Xiao Yan's leg.

He took Jilixu to the living room which was in two rooms to the right of the place earlier.

"if there's an important matter, you just wait here, otherwise you can just leave immediately." he said to Jilixu who went straight back to his room earlier.

Half an hour had passed, Jeni had just walked out of her room earlier. He saw the lights in the living room still on and decided to go there.

"it seems very important" Jeni casually said at the door.
