Trapped by the Marriage Bond
Disappointed

Hamid and his wife arrived at the restaurant. They immediately went in and circulated a glance at the table that Will had previously told them about. They looked towards Will and his family who had arrived first. Then Hamid and his wife immediately walked closer to Will's table and his family.

"Welcome, Mr. Hamid," Will said as he extended his hand.

"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Will." Hamid immediately grabbed Will's hand. 

They shake hands and smile at each other and their wives. 

"Oh yes, this is our daughter, Clarista." Will introduces his daughter to Hamid and Veronica.

Clarista immediately put on a friendly look and shook Hamid and Veronica's hands while introducing herself. Though in his heart he was actually very lazy with this matchmaking. Because he heard from people, Alex Rudiart is the worst playboy in the world. Even often dump women and throw them like garbage after he is satisfied he plagues. Clarista had also heard that Alex was a cruel and unsavory old man. So because of that story, Clarista was very lazy with that matchmaking. He did not want to marry an old man who was a playboy cap lizard. Just imagine it's disgusted if it's touched.

"So how?" ask Hamid to be sure.

"I don't agree! I don't want to marry an old man!" clarista made Will and his wife feel ashamed.

"Claristas! Keep talking!" Will was so angry at his daughter's disrespectful behavior. He was utterly ashamed of Hamid and Veronica for the attitude of his daughter.

Clarista only snorted in annoyance, not caring about her father's anger. She does not want to marry an old man, she is beautiful sexy and certainly perfect in front of men, what her friends say if they know she is married to an old man. While many handsome and charismatic young men want to make him as his lover.

But Hamid tried to smile, even though he was actually disappointed. He understands the attitude of Clarista who is still said to be unstable, certainly very heavy considering the age of Clarista and Alex adrift ten years older Alex. Moreover, Clarista had never seen Alex so naturally if Clarista refused the matchmaking.

"Sorry for my daughter's attitude, sir. I don't mean to let you and your wife down" Will said shyly. It was as if he had no face in front of Hamid.

"It's okay, it doesn't matter. I understand that. Naturally your daughter refuses, she's beautiful and perfect as it's appropriate to choose." Hamid also accepted.

"I'm not happy with you, sir, Madam. Again I'm sorry." 

"It's okay, don't feel guilty like that" said Hamid who actually felt bad.

After that they finally enjoyed the food that was served in front of them. Have a little chat to get rid of awkwardness. 

After enjoying a meal together, Will and his wife decided to go home first. Because there is something urgent so Will decided to leave first.

"Sorry Sir, Madam. We are allowed to go home first, because there is an urgent interest that I cannot delay. Thank you for the dinner and once again we're really sorry for my daughter's attitude" Will told Hamid and Veronica.

"Yes, Mr. Will. It's okay" Hamid said with a friendly smile.

Will and his family leave Hamid and Veronica.

"It looks like Alex is not going to get married" said Hamid, who was frustrated. Time and again he betrothed his son to the daughter of his business partner must always fail. 

"Don't talk like that, just haven't met her soul mate" said Veronica, who disagrees with her husband's words.

But suddenly Hamid's gaze unintentionally looked at the beautiful girl who was cleaning the table next to him, he felt familiar with the girl.

"Liana" he called out to the girl who was cleaning the table next to him.

"Yes, Sir. You called me?" to be sure, he did not know who the middle-aged man was.

"You're Liana, right?" 

"Yes, Sir. Sorry you know my name?" Liana approached while feeling astonished. He did not know if the middle-aged man turned out to be a close friend of his father.

"Yes, sir," he replied with a friendly smile.

"What's? Why do you work here? Aren't you in college? Didn't your father want you to go to college?" Hamid really doesn't believe that. How can his best friend's daughter work only as a waitress, it just doesn't make sense. His best friend has a pretty big company.

Veronica is just as beautiful. Because he also knew who Gio Danuarta was. 

Liana smiled, knowing that Hamid must be astonished. Then he told me everything that had happened after the death of his parents. 

Hamid and Veronica who heard everything Liana said were furious. He knew how difficult it was for Gio to set up a company to become a big enough company. He knows how the fall of Gio's wake during his time in the business world. And now he heard the news that all his best friend's assets were lost without rest. He was so sad about all that.

"Where do you live now?" 

"In contract, uncle," he answered.

"Can uncle pay a visit to your contract?" 

"But I'm working." 

"What time do you come home?" Veronica Timpal.

"Nine night's hour." 

Hamid and Veronica were shocked. How could Liana work up to that late.

"What's? That late?" Liana nodded as well.

But suddenly the owner of the restaurant came to them, more precisely approached Liana who he had seen since then actually talked as if he had forgotten his work.

"Liana! Are you tired of working!" Madame Liem's voice unhesitatingly scolded Liana in front of Hamid and Veronica as well as the other visitors.

"Excuse me, Mrs Liem," he said, bowing his gaze.

"Sorry, Madam. I started it. Don't blame Liana" Hamid said, feeling bad for Liana. Therefore Liana got anger from her boss.

"Sorry, Sir. This girl does make mistakes often, so be advised if I scold her," Mrs Liem told Hamid.

"With this kind of humiliation?" Hamid, who was a little calm, now became provoked by emotions.

"Mom..no." Madam Liem was also nervous. He was deliberately humiliating Liana because somehow he did not like the girl.

"Liana! Join uncle now, and no longer work in a restaurant that is far from this standard! Uncle will give you a job that is many times better than this. Let's get your stuff done, let's go now." 

"But, uncle," said Liana who was feeling objection.

"This is a waste of time. So come with uncle now!"

"But, Mister. I just wanted to make Liana feel a little responsible for her work. So I apologize if my attitude is outrageous" said Mrs Liem who pretended to feel guilty, but in her heart she cheered if Liana no longer worked at her restaurant. That way he can bring his daughter closer to Leon who he knew all along if Leon actually likes Liana. 

"Let's go with uncle right now, here you'll just always be blamed." 

With a heavy heart Liana nodded and followed Hamid's invitation.
