"Say Kejora, is that true? A lot of people asked grandma today, they all made fun of you. Is that really you?" ask Ratih so curious.
The choking chirp of his saliva was rough. Afraid to answer. He crouched down in front of his grandmother who was sitting on a chair, holding both of those old hands.
"I'm sorry, Grandma," she replied.
"Not the apology Grandma asked for, Kejora. But clarity on the news!"
Kejora. "Yes, Grandma. The cruel is raped."
Ratih immediately got up from the chair with a feeling of surprise. Staring at the still seething Kejora in front of him.
"What's? How could? Why don't you ever tell grandma, Kejora? Don't you think grandma's part of your family anymore?" Anger Ratih.
"Not so, Grandma. It was just that time that Kejora was afraid to say it. Kejora was afraid that granny was sick to hear him," Kejora replied as she stared fixedly.
"Do you think now grandma isn't sick? Especially now that everyone knows about your disgrace and they are insulting you, Kejora. Didn't you think about it until then?"
Kejora looked down while sobbing. Already late. Everything's been uncovered. News of him and Nicholas in the hotel was everywhere. I don't know who spread the secret.
"Sorry, Grandma." Kejora sobbed, trying to hold onto Ratih's hand, but was released just like that.
Ratih looked away, turned his back on the Kejora. His mind was so chaotic and still could not believe the bad news about his grandson. He secretly shed tears.
"Are you pregnant with her child?"
The cruelty shook quickly. "No, Grandma. I'm not pregnant with that boy."
"Don't you drop it?" keep Ratih.
"No, Grandma. I swear I didn't do that. I'm really not pregnant."
Ratih nibbled his temple. "Then what about that guy? Did he give you any accountability? Do you know who that guy is?"
"He's the same person that's been financing grandmother's medical expenses all along."
Train spontaneously round his eyes. Bummer. Really can't believe it. So, all this time the money was borrowed from a man who had raped his own grandson?
"J-so all this time you borrowed money on him? The man who raped you?"
Kejora. "There's no other way, Grandma. I borrowed it back then because no one else could help."
"Gosh, Kejora," complained Ratih. Approaching the Kejora, holding his shoulder. "You've been working with the man who ruined you all this time? For grandma?"
The vivacity again and again could only nod. Ratih could no longer hold back his tears. Hugging the Kejora tightly. Feeling guilty because of himself all these problems began.
"I'm sorry grandma, Kejora. Because of grandma you have to deal with the man again. You must have been sick all this time" said Ratih.
"It's okay, Grandma. He's not too bad either, he's already helping us."
Ratih outlines the embrace. "Not evil how? A rich man like him is willing to take responsibility? It won't. We're not equal to them, Kejora. Does he have the guilt of raping you? Does he want to be responsible?"
The Kejora is silent. More specifically, I remember Nicholas.
"Wealthy people like them would just consider us trash, Kejora. They won't care about the little dust like us. Before this gets any worse, let's get out of this town and it'll all be over. Grandma doesn't want you constantly being played by them." Train to pull the hands of Kejora. Kejora.
"Go? Where to go, Grandma?" ask Kejora confused.
"The one obviously left here before things got cloudier. Quickly pack your things and we'll go." Ratih insists. The Kejora was silent.
"Kejora, why shut up? Let's get ready."
"But, Grandma ..."
"Where to go? Where are you going?" someone who is none other than Steve. Upon her arrival at the Kejora house, she is shocked to hear Kejora talk with her grandmother saying she is leaving the house.
"You who? Why are you here?" ask Ratih.
"So you're the son of a bitch's brother? Tell your brother that don't bother my grandson again, I'll take Kejora away from this city" replied Ratih fiercely.
Steve straightened his eyes. Make sense to stop the plan.
"Wait a minute, Grandma. Where are you going in such a precarious situation? You can't leave. It's not safe outside" stop Steve.
"Sir, I still owe him. The cruelty cannot go away. And also, what about Bimo's school?" Kejora.
"Let grandmother take care of everything, the most important thing now is that we have to get out of here before the citizens judge." The coach insisted on leaving. Pulling Kejora's hand to pack his things in the room.
Steve confused. In a panic, she pulled out her phone and contacted her brother to rush to the Kejora house.
"Sister, get over here. My sister-in-law is leaving town. You should get here!"
Steve is upset, confused about what to do to stop Kejora from leaving the house before his brother comes. Even more furious when his grandmother Kejora started taking out one suitcase from inside the room.
"Miss, please listen to me first. It's a misunderstanding, "Steve said.
"Here, don't bother me. Get out of here!" Train to go into the room again. "Kejora, quickly pack your things! Bimo, pack your things too!"
Steve huffles. "Gosh, Brother. When are you gonna get there, huh?"
All bags are in front of the room. Steve had done various ways to block them, but still he lost.
"Come, Kejora," take Ratih.
"But, Grandma..."
"Nothing but-but, let's go."
Steve held back the bag that Ratih was about to carry. "Wait a minute, Grandma. Just sec. You guys don't go."
"Get your hands off! Didn't I tell you to go, huh?!" Ratih wrathful.
"Semenit, Grandma!" reset Steve.
"Where are you going?" nicholas heard the noise from within. After being notified, he immediately rushed to the Kejora house.
Train to raise one eyebrow. "You raped my granddaughter?"
Nicholas lowered his gaze. Approaching slowly. "I'm sorry."
"Hhh, are you sorry? You think apologizing could restore my grandson's honor?" refuse Ratih raw.
"I confess, all this is purely my own fault. But under the circumstances now, where are you going? In front there are a lot of reporters and you will only be surrounded by questions by them. Can you guys face it? Are you guys up to it? Getting out of town isn't the only way." Nicholas added.
Steve who had peeked out of the window confirmed. "really. There are a lot of reporters out front. How'this?"
"We went through the back lane. You're Steve, guiding them out the back door. There's already my car ready to take you. In the meantime, I'm going to divert the attention of the reporters and you can go quietly" Nicholas said.
Steve nodded. "alright. Come on, Grandma, brother-in-law, let's go."
Ratih is still doubtful.
"Sir, let's follow them" said Kejora.
"Yes, Grandma. Brother is good. He helped Bimo too." Bimo added.
"This time, let me help." Nicholas also said. Trying to give confidence to his grandmother Kejora.
Ratih was forced to come. Guided Steve they went out through the back door of the house and secretly entered the car driven by Hans. While Nicholas was busy shifting the attention of journalists so as not to hinder his plan. Before that he had called Zang to pick him up and out of the sea of people who accused him.
Nicholas split the crowd and got into Zang's car with a sigh of relief.
"Finally you came too, Zang. I was breathless to face them. Now, let's follow Hans."
