Chapter 30's

Laura sat alone in the living room of her house. His mind was filled with questions that never got an answer to his relationship with Daniel.

Amidst the silence surrounding the living room, the house phone suddenly rang loudly, leaving Laura shocked. He hesitated for a moment before finally picking up the handle of the phone that was beside him. A clattering sound vibrated within the silence.

With a breath of breath, Laura replied, "Hello, Laura is here."

"Good day, Laura's mother. I represent an organization called Harmony Legal Aid. We've heard about the legal issues you're facing, and we'd like to offer our help" said a soft voice across the line.

Laura was surprised to hear that. He never expected that there was an organization that cared and was ready to help in his case. He wants to know more.

"Sorry, who are you? And why do you want to help me?" ask Laura carefully.

"My name is Rebecca Johnson, and I am the executive director of Harmony Legal Aid. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing legal assistance and emotional support to individuals facing legal difficulties. Your case has caught our attention, and we want to help you through this process better" Rebecca said in an empathetic voice.

Laura felt hope suddenly appear in her heart. He felt that this was an opportunity for him to obtain proper justice and protect his and Daniel's future.

"But why are you interested in my case? What do you expect in return?" asked Laura curiously.

“Harmony Legal Aid was established with the vision of providing a fair opportunity for individuals who do not have adequate resources or support. We believe that everyone deserves access to justice, regardless of background or financial circumstances. We work with lawyers and volunteers who are committed to providing pro bono legal assistance, which means they provide legal services voluntarily without asking for payment.” Obviously Rebecca.

Laura was moved to listen to Rebecca's explanation. “It was awesome. I'm so grateful for this opportunity, Rebecca. I sincerely hope that Harmony Legal Aid team can help me find a way out of this problem.”

“So are you willing to come to our office, to discuss your problem in more detail again,” said Rebecca.

“I am willing, I will come to Harmony Legal Aid office as soon as possible,” Laura said.

“We will do our best, Laura. Our team is very dedicated to providing the best legal assistance to our clients. I'm glad you've agreed to meet with us. This meeting will be the first step in fighting for your rights.” Rebecca.

Laura sat on the porch of her house, looking at the reddened twilight sky on the western horizon. He was waiting for Daniel to come. From today they are allowed to meet.

Laura heard light steps approaching from behind her. He turned around and smiled seeing Daniel come with a cheerful face.

"Daniel, you came just in time," Laura said as she rose from her seat. "Let's sit here with me."

Daniel smiled and sat down next to Laura. He grabbed her hand and said, "I'm so happy to be with you and see you again, Laura. You are the light of my life."

Daniel clasped Laura's hand tightly. "Laura, I love you. I want to give you a good life and make you happy."

Laura was touched by Daniel's words. She felt the warmth in her heart and knew that she had found a true second love. However, there was one thing that was troubling his mind.

"Daniel, we have to talk about the legal issues we're facing" Laura said hesitantly. "I have news that might make you a little relieved. I was contacted by someone a few days ago.”

Daniel looked at Laura expectantly. "Who? What did they say?"

Laura smiled and replied, "There is an organization ready to help us in the legal process we face."

Dabiel was surprised and asked, "What organization is it? And what can they do for us?"

Laura explained excitedly, "This organization is named Harmony Legal Aid. They are a group of lawyers, legal experts, and volunteers who are willing to help people like us who face difficulties in the legal system. They'll provide legal help, resources, and emotional support for us."

Daniel was relieved and his hopes grew again. He felt like there was hope for them to fight the legal battle they were in.

"Laura is amazing news" Daniel said, embracing her tightly. "I don't know what I would do without you. You are my angel."

Laura smiled and returned Daniel's embrace. “We're going through this together, Daniel. We'll never be alone. We will face all this with our strength and with the help of that organization.”

Laura and Daniel sat in a comfortable conference room, staring at Rebecca and the advocate team with hope in their eyes. The air is full of enthusiasm and tension, but also feels heavy because of the burden of the problems they are facing.

Rebecca, a woman in her thirties with blonde hair and professional clothes, smiled kindly to Laura and Daniel. "We're very happy to be able to help you both" he said excitedly. "Our team is dedicated to providing full legal assistance in such cases. We stand ready to work with you to protect your rights and fight for justice."

Laura breathed a sigh of relief, feeling relieved at having a team of experts behind her. "Thank you, Rebecca," he said in a soft but full of taste. "It's been a difficult time for both of us, and we really appreciate the help you've given."

Daniel added, "We know that building a strong case will be a difficult task, but we really hope to deal with this problem with a high-raised hand."

Rebecca nodded understandingly. "Of course, we understand that this is a challenging journey. However, with cooperation and joint efforts, I believe we can achieve positive results. To begin, I would like to gather all the information you have regarding this case. What can you tell us?"

Laura and Daniel looked at each other for a moment, then Laura took a deep breath. "First of all, we want to explain the chronology of what happened" Laura said, pulling the documents from her bag. "This is a record we make whenever there is an incident, and we also bring some photographic evidence."
