Trapped On The Bride's Night
10. Explanation

In a hurry, a man got out of his car. Because of his impatience, he pressed the bell repeatedly on the house he was visiting.

"Jeno Mas?" Bi Dima was astonished to see the young man's reddened face.

"Which aura, Bi?" serobot Jeno direct.

"Non Aura still--"

"Ah, that's ..." Jeno who was used to the Aura residence because there was also a place to play since childhood-began galloping to find the whereabouts of the girl.

Jeno's steps came to a halt on the steps of the stairs-when she saw the girl she was looking for was moving to descend towards her.

"Jen?" Aura looked a little surprised by Jeno's arrival today. It had been a week since their wedding was canceled, and this was the second time Jeno had come to Aura again.

"You're going abroad?" Jeno shook her head in disbelief. "Why, Ra?" ask her with a stare.

This also leads Jeno to quickly come to Aura again, but she still wants to give Aura time to calm down so that they can think about their marriage continuation that is almost happening. But, the news regarding Aura that was about to go-tickle the tranquility of a Jeno Alvaro.

Aura stopped right in front of Jeno after she actually went down a few steps.

"There's no reason." The girl tried to smile. Aura did not want to look weak in front of this man who was almost her husband. "I told you that all of us are over and don't have to see me again."

"This is no way, Aura!" Jeno seemed stressed. "I need your explanation. What the hell happened? You left on the night of our wedding and you canceled everything without thinking about my feelings?" his insistence.

Aura thinned her lips, she tried to respond to Jeno with a calm demeanor.

"Can we sit down first? I'll explain it to you."

"Filen." Jeno according. "I will hear what your real reason is, because I am waiting for your explanation. I deserve to know that!" hatchlings.

They also sit on the sofa in the middle room with a position facing each other.

Aura took a deep breath before telling Jeno the truth. He also understood if Jeno still felt their relationship was not complete. Frankly, Jeno had not heard the explanation and did not even know what happened to him.

"Before I tell you why I disappeared that night, may I know first why you still come here and see me, Jen?"

"Of course it's because I still really wish we could fix everything, Ra." Jeno says steady.

There is a look of determination in Jeno's eyes, making Aura feel unable to hurt Jeno back with the reality that exists. But, once again Aura assured that Jeno was entitled to know everything, even though this was the same as Aura deliberately opened her disgrace and shortcomings in front of the young man.

"Where is your family? They're not gonna take me anymore, are they? I've heard how angry your grandmother is with my family for this. I understand, I don't blame them because I was wrong to suddenly disappear on the show."

Aura did hear Papa or Mama received a call from Jeno's family and it was in the form of anger. Aura also felt guilty, because she was the good relationship that had been established between her family and the family of the young man became a mess.

"I don't care, Ra. Just like those who don't care about me. They're just thinking about shame, without thinking about how I feel."

Aura was still silent and did not reply to Jeno.

"... One thing you should know, I want everything back to how it was. I can even accept all the reasons you left that night. I'm here, because I'm still waiting for you, but why did you decide to leave instead?" Jeno's voice turned frustrated. He snorted harshly at the end of the sentence, showing his dislike for Aura's decision to leave Indonesia after the failure of their marriage.

"Oh, huh?" Aura smiled bitterly. "Are you going to stay this strong if you know what I really am?" tanyakanya.

Jeno gave a small glance, did not understand where Aura said, or did she not catch the purpose behind the girl's speech?

"... would you care if I didn't want to improve our relationship - because I'm not the same anymore?" coined.

"You wouldn't be able to accept my situation if you knew the truth, Jen."

"Actually?" Both of Jeno's eyebrows raised, still feeling the words of Aura ambiguous, he wanted to hear the explanation very clearly even though it seemed to be more painful than the events that had been.

"You don't have to wait for me anymore because I won't change my decision to leave Indonesia" Aura said firmly.

Jeno got up from her seat, with a slight jerk of the body. He panned deeply towards the watery-looking yet waterless Netra Aura. Jeno knew Aura was trying to hold back the tears right now.

"You're telling me what and where is the problem? If it's me wrong, I'll try to fix it. Just like our relationship, all of this can still be fixed." Jeno looks groggy now.

"Don't ..." Aura shook her head slowly, occasionally pitting up so that her tears would not spill. "Everything can't be fixed. I told you you wouldn't accept my situation because I'm not the same anymore. The problem is in me, not in you."

"We fix what's wrong with you. I can accept--"

"I am not holy!" serobot Aura direct. "... I've been tainted. I have lost my honor. Do you still want to accept me?" Aura stared alternately at both of Jeno's eyeballs.

Hearing that, Jeno's eyes immediately rounded perfectly. He was very surprised. No, looks like something's wrong here? Yes, Jeno must have misheard or misinterpreted the meaning of Aura's words.

"Ra, you mean-"

"Yes, right, I'm not a virgin anymore. You want to accept me?" Aura laughed discordantly, now accompanied by her unstoppable tears, flowing just like that.

"... Even if you want to, but I still can't accept our marriage, Jen." Aura hurriedly continued her sentence before Jeno could answer.

Jeno froze in place. The fact that Aura had just conveyed greatly struck him. Something feels bad in there. His heart was like being gripped.

"If you doubt I would accept your condition like that, why don't you refuse this matchmaking from the beginning?" jeno asked listlessly as she stared at the floor.

"If this had happened long before our wedding night, I probably would never have opened my life to any man including you, Jen. Unfortunately, this happened that night. The night I should have heard the sacred pledge from your mouth."

This time Jeno was flabbergasted. Does this mean that the night Aura disappeared was the night that this girl was taken away from her purity?

"It seems like someone set me up and made me have to end up with another man that night. So that I never marry you."

Of all the chatter with Aura today, the reality that Aura just made was the most painful for Jeno. In other words, Aura lost everything not because of the girl's own wishes - but rather there were others who planned it and some forcibly snatched it away. That means Aura never intended to leave their wedding as she and her family have been accused of.

If asked who is the most hurt here, the answer is Jeno. But, if it came back to questioning who was the most destroyed, of course it was Aura. Jeno suddenly gasped at the reality that Aura had just told her.

"Who set you up, Ra?" he asked in a stifled voice, almost like a whisper.

"I don't know."

Jeno was silent, seeming to digest the situation.

"Who is that guy then?" This time the intonation of Jeno's voice skyrocketed a little there was a growl there.

"Room."
