Trapped On The Bride's Night

Trapped On The Bride's Night
25. Entitled to know

Rayyan saw Aura's condition that had improved after surgery. Even so, Aura's attitude towards Rayyan was still the same as before, cold and sometimes thin.

Rayyan hesitated to tell Aura about the facts she had obtained. He was afraid that the woman was hysterical or sad.

Yeah, it's all about the mastermind behind what happened to them that night. And in fact, they were indeed framed for Aura and Jeno's wedding - it never happened.

Rayyan tried to read Aura gelagat, whether Aura can be spoken to well or precisely this will be a burden on Aura's mind later? Rayyan does not want his wife to be sick again if he reminds her of this.

However, Rayyan knew that Aura had the right and deserved to know.

"Ra, can we talk?" Finally Rayyan started the word after quite a long consideration.

"What did you say? If you want to talk, talk." The woman replied while changing the television channel with the remote in her hand. The look in his eyes never once glanced at Rayyan because Aura looked straight ahead while Rayyan was not far beside her position.

Rayyan chose to sit first, spacing out from Aura who occupied the single sofa on the left, while she sat on the long sofa on the woman's right.

"I ... already know who set us up that night."

The Aura movement stopped. His hands hung in the air with the remote still tightly grasped. For a second, two seconds, then Aura turned to Rayyan with an elusive look. There was a pause for a while until finally the sound of Aura was heard asking.

"Who?"

It was just that word that finally came out of Aura's lips after he put the remote onto the table in a slow motion.

"Hanin's name, she---"

"Ah .." sergeant Aura quickly, he nodded faintly while smiling bitterly. "Hanin's Jeno's ex-girlfriend?" sama later.

Rayyan shook her head. "Not her ex, rather Hanin and Jeno were still dating when you guys decided to get married" she explained.

Aura thinned her lips, nodded several times, looking pain in both of her eyeballs that Rayyan looked at alternately. Before long, the woman decided to get up and like she was about to pass.

"Where are you going, Ra?" Rayyan looked at Aura who was already in a position to back her. "I'm not done talking, yet" he continued.

The aura did not sharpen but the woman's shoulder seemed to shake. Rayyan stood up from her seat, afraid that she might hurt Aura for telling him the fact.

"I'm sorry, Ra. I don't mean to bring this up again but ..." Rayyan did not continue to say, her hand outstretched to touch Aura's shoulder, eager to bring her woman in an embrace and hold her tightly to give her calmness, but it could only be imagined in wishful thinking, because in fact Rayyan's hand again fell on the side of the body, without continuing the intention he was about to do.

"Let me have time to explain to you everything I know, Ra."

Aura shook her head slowly, did not say anything and immediately walked quickly towards the location of her own private room.

Rayyan clenched her hands tightly. He can't do anything anymore. One thing he knew, Aura really seemed to be struck by this.

While in the room, Aura was sobbing. He did not expect it turned out that Jeno had been lying to him all along. As Aura knew, the man never again communicated with Hanin after saying he wanted to marry her and agreed to their matchmaking.

But now what? Rayyan said that Hanin and Jeno never ended their relationship. It was only natural that Hanin was angry and did not accept the wedding plan of Aura and Jeno because the girl still felt that Jeno was hers.

Hanin should still be able to say that to her all day. At the very least, Hanin could get Aura to speak carefully. Aura also does not want to be branded as a destroyer of other people's relationships. He appreciates that Hanin and Jeno still want to knit love.

Basically, Aura never forced Jeno about her relationship, because Aura only followed the plot that her parents had designed to match her to Jeno.

This also makes Aura know, if that night Hanin also present to the residence of his parents. Of course not to see Jeno pronounce the marriage pledge with Aura. But to make sure the wedding never happened.

Aura was crying on her own bed. He is not lamenting Jeno's lies that have had the heart to deceive him, but he still feels his life is always less fortunate. Why should he be framed on the night of his own bride? Even if Hanin wants to talk to him first, he will release Jeno and he does not need to be trapped until he loses the honor as has already happened.

Towards the end, Aura felt her body shivering, not even the warmers of the room felt warm. Aura only realized that he was crying for too long and lamenting fate.

Aura came out of the room and tried to sit near the fireplace. Maybe the temperature around it is very cool so this action can warm his body again.

"Rho? You why?"

Unfortunately, Aura had to meet Rayyan who seemed to be watching television.

Why is that guy still there? Think Aura.

"Why not sleep?" Rayyan asked again.

"I-i ..." Aura was willing to say, but somehow at the same time she realized her voice was shaking.

When Rayyan got up and stood near her, Aura did not realize it but the man had swiftly brought her to sit in front of the fireplace not far from her position.

"Your hands are cold. You're cold." Rayyan clasped Aura's hand and somehow Aura just let her go, probably because she was too shivering so she couldn't shake the man's treatment.

Aura shook her head slowly.

"Coffee?"

"I don't usually drink coffee." Back Aura replied with a trembling voice.

"Okay, I made you some hot chocolate. Wait here. Just a moment," said the man who suddenly went towards the pantry.

Aura fused her palms together, rubbing them slowly in order to feel warm. The air around the fireplace slowly propagates and makes the surrounding temperature feel warm.

Before long, Rayyan came with a glass of warm chocolate, asking Aura to drink it slowly. Thankfully the woman complied, Rayyan smiled looking at her.

"Is it better?"

Aura nodded at Rayyan's question, indeed she felt that she was much better than before.

Rayyan sat beside Aura and the woman seemed to be looking at her movements. Before Aura could protest-Rayyan immediately shuffled to put a scarf around her neck.

Aura was stunned for a moment by Rayyan's treatment, but hurriedly she shifted the gaze that had been leading to the young man's eyes.

"Still," said Aura quietly.

Rayyan thinned his lips. Usually he always asks Aura first, is not grateful? But now Aura had said it without needing Rayyan to ask. For Rayyan this is progress.

"I'm always happy to help you." Rayyan said it very seriously.

Aura lowered her head, "Why?" tanyakanya.

Rayyan did not expect Aura to respond with the 'why' question, so should Rayyan answer the reason?

"Because it's you."

"If it wasn't me?"

"I can't be this happy when I do."

Aura complained and the gazes of their eyes met. Silent. There was only silence there, as if Aura wanted to dive into the meaning in the depths of the man's net.

"I'm scared," Aura said sounding cautiously.

"What are you afraid of?" rayyan asked without letting go of their eye contact. This could be said to be the greatest reward for Rayyan during her stay with Aura for one week-because only this time Aura was willing to look at her.

"You said the problem had to be dealt with, right? But I'm afraid that's why I always go away from the problems I have."

Rayyan was glad that Aura was willing to open up and tell her this.

"You got me now, we're dealing with the same thing, hmm?"

Aura speechless. He felt Rayyan was also one of the new problems for him, so as usual Aura had to stay away from the problem to avoid it, so from the beginning Aura was afraid to be close to the man. Aura did not want to be hurt again so he tried to dismiss the presence of Rayyan who seemed to understand him very well.

Aura finally broke eye contact between them, preferring to stare at the tiles.

"Ra?"

"Hmm?"

"There's actually more I know about that night." Rayyan was heard saying cautiously, timidly that Aura would return if she continued to discuss the same.

"... It's not about the results of my investigation of the person who framed us, but it's about-" Rayyan seemed hesitant then, she glanced at Aura first to confirm the response of the woman.

"What?" Finally Aura made a sound, it seems that this time he was ready to hear the continuation of Rayyan's story.

"I've actually remembered what happened between the two of us that night."

Aura's face immediately flushed hearing that. Then, the woman directly bent the neck deeply.
