Trapped On The Bride's Night

Trapped On The Bride's Night
41. A room

Aura was not excited about her activities today. He still thought of Rayyan who had saved him yesterday.

Aura felt the need to talk to Rayyan, especially about her help first that Aura had not realized and never said thank you.

"Aura, are you sick?" wilow asked who saw Aura not speaking to her at all today, even until the working hours were almost over.

And Aura only shook her head weakly to respond to her friend's question.

"Did something happen? You can talk to me like always" Wilow suggested.

Now Aura was crying instead and Wilow became awry to see Aura's attitude that confused him.

"Well, after this we'll talk to each other, okay?" Wilow felt Aura needed a friend to pour out her grievances.

And this is where they are now, in a garden cafe that is not too far from the building where the two work. Wilow forced Aura to come with him there after working hours until Aura agreed.

"So you met Shandy yesterday? And Jeno?" asked Wilow who was surprised by Aura's story.

Aura nodded. "It's not just them, I've also met Rayyan."

Wilow's eyes immediately broke into hearing that. When viewed from the aura that cries when telling stories can be ascertained if something big has happened.

Aura began to tell Wilow the events that happened to him yesterday, including with Rayyan's help to him. Aura also revealed that Rayyan did it for her sake not just because she wanted to be wary of Jeno like the man's reason.

Of course Wilow's response was shocked to find out that Aura had been held captive by Shandy and Jeno. However, he was also concerned about the incident that happened to Aura, especially with the words of Aura who said that Rayyan was deliberately helping him. Wilow considers if Aura began to expect more from her ex-husband.

"Now, I'm asking you .. Have you regretted it?" wilow shook Aura's arm.

"Repent what?"

"Certainly regretting for ignoring Rayyan all along!" wilow.

Aura nodded, there was nothing else she needed to cover.

"Goodoo. If you really regret it, you better tell her that, Aura. I'm not sure if you'll ever find a guy like him again or not. Rayyan's the toughest man capable of dealing with your outrageous sternness."

Aura again sniffled at Wilow's outspoken words. Aura tau Wilow always said frankly even impressed spicy if indeed Aura's behavior deserved to be reprimanded. Not just Aura, but he always does that to others.

"Tell him you're sorry, Ra. Or if necessary, get him to fix everything."

"I don't think that's possible."

"Why?"

"Rayyan looks different. He's cold and he doesn't want me anymore."

Wilow shook his head. "Then, what about you? Did this incident make you aware of anything other than late regrets?" she was the one who once again struck Aura's heart.

"I-I think it's too late."

Wilow pulled one corner of his lips. "I think so too. Never mind, consider this a fitting punishment for you for wasting your sincere Rayyan. Enjoy the pain, may you grow up with it."

"No!" The aura took a deep breath. "I've promised myself that if someone saved me in that situation, I would do anything for him. And Rayyan should have received that right a long time ago because she was also the one who helped me when Shandy abused me years ago."

And this again surprised Wilow.

"So you're saying, Rayyan was the same person who saved you when you were a teenager?" wilow asked with eyelids glaring at Aura.

"Yes, he helped me first."

Wilow is out of words. It seemed like Aura had gone too far to treat Rayyan all this time. Even this friend did not realize that Rayyan had helped him first.

"I think it's only natural that Rayyan is angry and disappointed in you, Ra. I'm sorry, that's all I can say right now because I'm out of words because of all this."

"Wilow?"

"But I also just found out that Rayyan was the one who helped me back then, last night's events made me aware and reminded me!"

"Let's know, I think you should go after him before he actually leaves and you come back to regret it!" Wilow warned Aura with his stern remarks.

...***...

Aura entered her Apartment and somehow Wilow said that Rayyan had loved her for a long time and kept ringing in her mind.

With the tip of his eyes, Aura saw a door that was none other than the door of the room space that Rayyan had occupied during her stay with him in the same Apartment-before.

Somehow Aura's heart was moved to head into the room, slowly pushing the door and coming back.

After six months of Rayyan's departure, only this time Aura entered this room. Ah, naw. Even since Rayyan occupied this room not once did Aura ever enter it.

Aura looked at the neat bed as it never slept again. One hand outstretched and stroked the soft bed sheet attached there. Unexpectedly Aura actually wanted Rayyan to be there. Does Aura miss that guy?

Aura rubbed her tears that suddenly dripped uncompromisingly. He recalled Rayyan's cold face yesterday and compared it to the man's warm demeanor during his stay with her.

"I'm sorry, Ray .. I'm too selfish." Aura stroked the side of the bed feeling Rayyan listen to her speech.

Aura moved slowly towards the nightstand because he accidentally saw a picture frame placed in an inverted position.

Aura flipped the frame for the sake of looking at the photos that were there. The more she cried when she saw if it was a photo when Rayyan said the wedding pledge in front of the Papa. Aura is also seen in the same photo, he is unconscious and lying in a contrasting patient dress.

The photo throws Aura at the memory of her accident and when she wakes up, her parents tell her that she was married to Rayyan.

"I just saw our wedding photo this time, Ray. I used to not even want to know about this," he lamented.

The woman's instinct was to unconsciously make a movement in front of her picture frame, as if she was touching Rayyan's face there.

Aura was increasingly curious about the man who had become her husband. He knew it was too late, he should have found out about Rayyan a long time ago. Unfortunately, Aura always thought about herself, without wanting to know about other people around her including Rayyan who had married her.

Now Aura's gaze was fixed on a cupboard at the end of the room, opened it and was even more surprised when she got the fact that Rayyan still left several pairs of clothes there.

Aura's cry grew even more so, she was truly sorry now but all of Rayyan's belongings were still left in her place, making Aura have hope that Rayyan would definitely return to her side.

I don't know what she's feeling right now. Did Aura start loving that man? What was clear now was that he was eager to hug Rayyan.

Aura looked at the clothes that were there, at least it could treat her longing. Yes, Aura began to admit that she missed that figure. Why is everything just happening now? When Rayyan was gone? Should Aura love that man at the wrong time?

And a unique box that accidentally fell when Aura saw the contents of the closet - actually made him more interested to know the contents in the box.

"What's this?" Aura muttered. Curious.

Aura pulled the tape that became the adhesive of the sides of the box, making the box open completely. Aura was unnerved as she got all about herself being there.

"Gosh, where did he get all this?" inner Aura felt speechless.

There is a picture of him as a child that is juxtaposed with a photo of a handsome little boy. Aura was sure it was Rayyan and the man purposely juxtaposed the photos of the two of them like this.

Aura flipped the photo over and found a handwriting that seemed to have been written by Rayyan on purpose. In the writing, Rayyan said that he really wanted a happiness for Aura.

May mine, Aurora, always be covered with happiness. Until one day, I will be able to make her happy.

And the questions in Aura's head were getting more and more to ask the man. When did Rayyan love him? Why Aura only remembered their first meeting when they met at her parents' house at that time. Where did Rayyan get her childhood photos? What from her mother, did Bi Dima give it to Rayyan? But, why?

What made Aura even more filled was a ring box that was there. It was a ring that Aura believed to be their wedding ring.

Aura knew Rayyan had never given her the ring, because the man understood that Aura could not possibly wear it, so Rayyan could only keep it like this - even if the ring had been bought.
