Chapter 5
Auras
The water, it seems, has dried up. For too long she was crying and it was getting late.
He looked at the lines of food that had been served on the table in his room, it was all brought by the mother an hour ago, but it had not been touched at all.
He holds a stomach that feels rumbling, maybe urgent to be filled immediately. Until finally he gave up and began to bribe dishes that felt cold.
"Aura, Oma can come in, right?"
There was a knock followed by the Oma's call from behind the door. He thought briefly to decide. Indeed, since I don't know anyone has tried to invite him to talk.– might want to persuade him, but he was just wanting to be alone and did not want to be disturbed.
"Yes, Oma. Just come in." Finally he allowed Grandma to meet him.
Oma seemed to carry a smile gently towards him, slowly creeping until finally sitting on the corner sofa that was not far from his position.
"I hope you eat it?" Apparently Oma noticed his movement back put the spoon.
"Aura's full, Oma."
Oma mangosteen, may not want to force it.
"Ra, Oma wants you to accept marriage with Rayyan."
The grandmother's words managed to make him close his eyes tightly. How can everyone who had asked that she marry Jeno, now actually told her to receive a proposal from Rayyan.
"Do you know what he did with Aura? So why ask Aura to marry him?"
Why not just mention the name of the man, his tongue could not. He prefers to change Rayyan's name with the pronoun 'he'.
There was a sense of urgency in his chest, perhaps annoyance or hatred. No doubt, the situation is like this because of the man, right? Regardless of whether or not the man is aware of it while doing so.
"It is precisely because of that deed that Rayyan must take responsibility for you."
Suddenly he snorted, an attitude that had almost never shown in front of the grandmother.
"Aura doesn't want Oma." He said firmly.
"So, you want Rayyan to take responsibility for granted? If he doesn't mind, why should you refuse him, Aura?"
"Aura wants to forget everything. This is for the calm of Aura's heart. There's no need for a marriage with him or with Jeno."
"aura? Do you realize what your condition is now? Not necessarily there are other men who want me—"
"Or, Aura doesn't have to get married at all times." He interrupted Grandma's words straightforwardly.
"Do you realize what you're talking about? Oma thinks you're very smart to digest things and think about them carefully."
He was silent, knowing that the choice of the sentence was very rash. However, he did not regret it, since the beginning he never dreamed of marrying anyone. Receiving an arranged marriage with Jeno was also because the man was already like a relative with his family. If only he had never known Jeno, he might not have agreed to her marriage.
"Alright, if this is your decision, Oma will ask Rayyan to take responsibility in another way." Oma seemed to throw a glance at the ceiling. "I hope you can change your mind" he said later.
"Aura doesn't want to stay here anymore, Oma," he said softly as Oma almost passed from her room.
Oma was silent on the spot, visibly listening and as if allowing her to continue the sentence.
"... Aura has no face in front of Jeno, Oma. Although Jeno did not know this problem, but Aura was very embarrassed to meet Jeno. Aura doesn't want to stay here anymore. Aura wanted to go far away so that she could calm down and slowly forget about this."
"See Dr. Levina" Oma said slowly, advising him.
He shook weakly. Enough has been for years he used to treat the psychiatrist. Does he have to go back to therapy? He felt very tired.
"After all, Doctor Levina has dealt with you."
He again shed tears, shadows about the abuse he had received– when he was a teenager–back crossed his cranium.
It was like throwing it at that time. Times where he was once harassed by a guy his music tutoring friend.
"What do you want, San? I'm going home." Aura held her voice to sound ordinary, she was afraid Sandy realized her fear from the vibration of the voice she was saying.
Sandy grinned, she stared at Aura from head to toe. That's where Aura shuddered and increasingly creeped in fear, Sandy seemed to be ne-lan-ja-ngi him indirectly even though Aura's body was still wearing full clothes.
The aura retreated in an orderly manner. If he screams now, it'll be useless because at this hour all the classes at his music school are empty and locked.
If only he hadn't gone to the toilet first. If he also accepted Nina's offer to accompany him, everything would not be like this because his solitary circumstances made Sandy easily push him into the back shed.
"Sandy, please don't be weird. I'm going home soon."
"Do you have a boyfriend, Ra? Why do you always reject me?"
And sure enough, Sandy didn't speak Aura's words because she had dissolved into her obsession with Aura.
"Stay away from me!" aura said hysterically as Sandy stepped forward to approach her.
Aura was unable to retreat any longer, she was cornered into the wall with a trembling body.
"I shouldn't have to use this way to get close to you, Ra. It's your own fault you always reject me!"
"Sandy!!!" peekkik Aura's. He was so scared, sweat had already drenched from his temple, while his body was shaking so violently.
"Please, don't do things that will make you regret," Aura said.
Sandy with her smirk smile, certainly did not heed the warning that Aura gave. For him, the current Aura should be his even though it should go through the path of coercion of the will.
"Please!!!" Aura shouted, while Sandy again sneered cunningly.
"Sheep, Ra! Try it, I want to see who's gonna help you out here!" pongah and jumawa.
"Please.. whoever, help me!"
"Aura, Aura, who the hell will be in this place at the hour that almost Maghrib kayak gini? A ghost?" Sandy sneered at Aura's actions which she felt were in vain.
Sandy then glanced at Aura who was trying to cover her front body because the girl's shirt was not fully buttoned. He looked at Aura with the most disgusting look.
Aura undid her body, she squatted down and covered her entire face with both hands to protect herself from Sandy's actions which enraged her greatly.
"Try yelling again now, I want to hear your screams." Sandy stroked the side of Aura's face that was already soaked by tears mixed with her cold sweat.
"In this state of distress and fear you are a thousand times prettier, Aura," she whispered again in the girl's ear.
Aura was stunned, she was so scared, she couldn't fight because she wasn't struggling - because if she moved just a little it could actually make Sandy can see on the part of her body that was already open.
"You're crazy, Sandy!" hiss Aura said the young man.
Sandy laughed heartily. "Yes, and this is because of you. You know, I'm not gonna get you hurt. I promise, sweetie."
Aura made a face, she spat on Sandy's face right then and there. Hearing the affectionate call from her made Aura very disgusted.
"Bad!" angry Sandy while wiping her sticky face because of Aura.
Then, Sandy chuckled again. "But I like you who dare to fight kayak gini, our game will be fun. You are very challenging" he said.
Aura prayed in her heart, she did not want to be corrupted by a man like Sandy. He promised himself that if he could get away from Sandy today without making her lose her honor, he would risk his life for the happiness of others. He was willing to do that as long as his life did not end in the hands of the breng sek Sandy.
Sandy still stroked Aura's wet face gently. The position of Aura who was still crouching on the floor made him have a sneaky thought to start the game.
Before long, the young man began to pass off the jeans he was wearing. Standing in front of Aura and proudly showing her the sign of her might that was still wrapped in a triangular cloth. Aura spontaneously threw her face away, she growled inwardly, determined to make Sandy regret making her in this position.
"Come on! Look at me now! We start the game from here. You'll love it" Sandy said later.
The aura is getting sobbing. He covered his face with both palms and shook his head violently.
Sandy pulled Aura's long hair, making the woman flinch from feeling pain. Aura closed her eyes when she saw Sandy was not wearing any subordinates anymore.
"If you don't know how, let me teach you!" Sandy grabbed Aura's hair until the girl's head looked up. But Aura kept her eyes closed tightly.
"Now you scream again, try! Let me keep your mouth shut with mine!" sandy said with a grin of me sum.
The aura deepened again within him. For whatever reason, he never expected that his rejection of Sandy would end up with this kind of thing.
Brak!!
Simultaneously, the sound of the door opening from outside. Looks like someone there broke into it.
Sandy glared with wide eyes towards the doorway. While Aura, slowly drifted away as Sandy let her guard down.
Aura could see someone there - who managed to open the door of the warehouse.
"Room here?" The door-opening youth questioned Sandy as he glanced at Aura at a glance. He also saw Sandy who was already without subordinates, but looked flat as if he did not understand what was happening.
"What did Lo do here? Just interrupt you!" Sandy clucking. But from his words, it seems like Sandy knows who the guy in the doorway is.
"Pake Lo's pants! Ken-cing is in the toilet, not the warehouse! Lo habits!"
"Who would like a ken-cing too! I want-" That's where Sandy realized and immediately searched for Aura's whereabouts, but Aura was no longer there, not when she came out of the room.
"Damn! You're really bothering me!" sandy said to the guy.
The trajectories of past events are now reverberating in his head.
Why isn't his life so far away from this kind of thing? If he had survived Sandy, now he was finished by Rayyan.
And again, even though he had been in therapy for many years, but the bad memories always overshadowed him.
This also causes it difficult to know love–because in his head already imprinted if most men are beng sek. Although not all, but events in the past that managed to make him close himself from all men who want to approach him.
And today, he finds himself no longer the same, he is already tarnished because of the man. Rayyan.
Now she had completely lost the most precious of herself as a girl. He expects nothing more. He just wants to live a quiet life, without shadows of the past, also without remembering the events that caused him to end up with Rayyan.
Is it wrong to hate Rayyan? Is it wrong if he refuses the responsibility of the man?
