Trapped On The Bride's Night
6. Suspects

Chapter 6

Rayyan

He let out a heavy sigh after Aura came out of his room this morning. The girl even closed the door hard.

Please don't ask him what happened, because he doesn't really remember it himself.

Compared to the upside with a sense of dizziness in the head, his body actually feels unusually light.

However, deep in his heart deep,–yakin–if something had indeed happened between him and Aura.

Ah, that girl. Maybe Aura did not remember it, or even forgot it, but she always imagined the owner of the sad face.

And today, precisely this morning, he again saw the same cloudy mist on Aura's face, and the severity of it happened because of it.

What should he do now?

While thinking, the door of his room was knocked. Bi Dima was there.

"Mas Rayyan."

"What's up, Bi?"

"Said Mas Rayyan wants to go home today. If so, let Auntie help pack. Besides, things at home here are not conducive anymore, it looks like there will be a big problem."

"Why did Auntie say that?"

Bi Dima let out a short sigh, the middle-aged woman seemed to shake her head weakly.

"Non Aura Wedding last night, failed."

"Huh?" He gawked. If only Bi Dima had not reminded him of this, he would not have remembered that Aura should have held a big event last night.

His mind instantly raged, connecting everything that had already happened. Starting from Aura's failed marriage, until the moment Aura ended in her room.

"Non Aura disappeared last night. It's been searched all over the house, but I didn't see it. The car is still in the garage." Bi Dima again explained, apparently the woman had entered her room and seemed to want to tidy up her bed.

He was still late with his thoughts that were like a tangled thread, when Bi Dima spoke again.

"Mas Rayyan is coming home?"

"I should have been home a week ago, right, Bi."

"Well, yeah it is. Why would Rayyan suddenly want to help here?" Bi Dima turned back to him. "And usually Mas Rayyan used to be helped." Bi Dima smelled his smile.

He rubbed his own face rough, then his gaze unintentionally stared at the spot on the bed sheet. His body instantly froze.

"... Mas Rayyan even said that Mas was Aunt's son. Why to', Mas?"

He did hear Bi Dima's words, but his eyes still fell on the red stain there. If Bi Dima had not shifted the position of the blanket, surely he could not see the spot.

"Mass? Rayyan's mom?" Bi Dima sounded urgent.

"I am indeed a child of Auntie," he replied without turning his eyes to be more precise while thinking how to drive away Bi Dima before the woman realized the awkwardness in the bed sheet.

"Yes, the child that Aunt had been foster since baby, was now big and handsome again," teased Bi Dima had not realized where her eyes were at this time.

"That's right, if I'm Aunt's son." He looked back at Bi Dima, "but, it seems like I haven't been able to go home yet, Bi. There was a problem I had accidentally created. I want to solve this problem first" he said ambiguously.

"Lho, you know, what's Mas Rayyan doing? Do you need Aunt's help to get it done?"

"Now not yet. But if I ever need aunty to help, I'll tell you right away." He held onto Bi Dima's shoulder, pointing her towards the exit. Thank goodness the woman complied and did not protest.

This time Bi Dima looked cringing. "Mas Rayyan sure? Can you?" Bi Dima looked doubtful.

"Can, Bi." He's convincing. "Auntie taught me a lot, right?" abugn.

"Yes, but–"

"Udah, I can do it. Just finishing up this room can definitely."

Finally Bi Dima came out of the room and went towards the main house.

After Bi Dima's departure, he scratched his non-itchy head. He clearly knew what stains were now soiling the bed linen on the bed.

"God ..." he sighed in frustration. It turned out that everything happened, and he was the suspect here.

After changing the bed sheet and continuing to bathe, he heard the door of his room back on tap. This time he found Bi Dima there. But, this time Bi Dima's face looked tough.

"What's up, Bi?"

"Mas Rayyan was called Miss Yara."

Glue, he swallowed the saliva heavily. Does this have anything to do with the problem he had done to Aura?

"Yes, Bi. I'll meet him."

"But what's up, Mom? Why did Bu Yara suddenly want to meet Mas Rayyan?"

"Auntie calm down first, yeah. This seems to have something to do with the problem I created accidentally."

"What's the matter, Mom?"

He shook his head, closed the door later.

"We'll meet Bu Yara first let me talk and explain it there, yeah, Bi."

Arriving at Aura's residence, it turns out he was really in the congregation that afternoon. It seemed like all the great families of Aura already knew what was happening.

He had no problem to blame because he realized he was guilty. But it all happened without full awareness in him.

Even so with brother Aura who cursed him, he accepted it roundly. He indeed breng sek, even before something between him and Aura happened, the title was already attached and held by the big family of the Father to him.

"I know my answer does sound like a man. I don't deny that. But, even though I was not aware of what was really happening, I was ready to take responsibility for what I had done," he said trying to gentle.

"What responsibility can you give?" Mr. Sky was back focused on him.

"I am ready to marry Aura as my form of accountability. That's if I'm allowed."

He could see Aura's response across there. The girl seemed to shake strongly in her position. He understood why Aura had to reject him. Obviously, they had just gotten to know before all this happened. Although in reality, a week ago was not his first meeting with the girl.

"I don't want to, Pa, Ma." I heard Aura saying softly.

All eyes were now on the girl, including her who was also staring at Aura now.

"Aura, if Rayyan is ready to marry you, that's better, dear. She wanted to take responsibility ..." This time, Grandma Aura made a sound.

"I don't want to, Oma. I don't want to!" The aura looks hysterical.

Seeing that, there was a throbbing pain in his chest, he seemed to be slapped with guilt at the girl's state. It's all because of him. What did he have to sacrifice to make the girl accept and forgive him?

Shortly after, Aura got up from sitting, then darted away accompanied by a sobbing that made her feel even more sinful.
