Trapped On The Bride's Night

Trapped On The Bride's Night
83. Critically

When Rayyan had just set foot in her apartment lobby, her phone shook again. That was a call from Mr. Deri. Rayyan hastily received the mobile call because she also wanted to know the continuation of the task of Mr. Deri who last time said was following Grandma in the shopping center.

"What's up, sir?"

"Sir Rayyan, I am now in the Hospital."

"Did something happen to Grandma?" rayyan began to panic.

"No, Sir. It's not about Mrs Marini but about Ms. Inggrid."

"Why him?" Rayyan changed the tone of her voice to be flat, she was not too interested to know about the Aunt, her heart seemed to die to feel worried about the woman.

"He was rushed to the Hospital for over-dosing."

Glug. Rayyan swallowed her saliva which felt heavy in the throat. His premonition all this time was not wrong. There is something strange about Aunt Inggrid even though Rayyan has tried to ignore ya desperately.

"True everything, I'll be there soon."

Rayyan decides on the call, choosing to go home to her unit first with an inexplicable feeling.

Arriving at his apartment, Rayyan found Marsya who immediately resigned after seeing the superior had returned home.

"I'm going home, sir."

"Please. Thank you for your help today." Rayyan is stiff with others. But only once did Marsya capture Rayyan's completely flat and cold demeanor. Maybe there is a problem, inner Marsya who hurriedly shuffled away right then and there.

Rayyan looked at Aura who was eating a snack while watching television. Pororo cartoons are the wife's choice.

"Darling?" Aura realized that her husband had returned. He wanted to get closer in a wheelchair which he had been using for a few days - to ease his movements - but Rayyan signaled not to go, for Rayyan himself had come first to his wife.

"You must be really tired, hunt shower gih."

Rayyan shook her head, and she put her head on his shoulder.

"Darling, what's wrong with you?" asked Aura in a choked voice. He was sure something had happened.

Rayyan had not had time to say, the sound of Aura's cell phone ringing was heard. Following Grandma's cry across the street.

"aura! The aura! Please help Grandma again Aura. Aunt Inggrid is critical in the Hospital."

Aura Kira, this still has something to do with the disease of the aunt that caused the woman to be taken to the hospital this afternoon. But it turned out that all this was not what Aura had in mind, because Rayyan already knew the cause.

"Mas, this afternoon Aunt Inggrid was rushed to the hospital. Grandma said she was sick. Now Grandma says Aunt Inggrid is dying, Mas." Aura spoke with a panicked look that made Rayyan feel even more inexplicably.

"Where do you know?" Rayyan responded to Aura with a slow voice that was barely interested.

"Grandmother herself called me, she said she needed money for a Aunt Inggrid's medical expenses. So ..."

"You're sending them money?" guess Rayyan. He had known his wife for a long time, and even though Aura is a stubborn woman but Aura has a large side of humanity so Rayyan knows Aura is impossible to ignore if Grandma reasoned about the cost to treat the Aunt.

"Yes, Mum." The aura bowed deeply. "I'm sorry if I was wrong, Mom. But I'm afraid I'll regret it if I don't give you money for your aunt's coronation. I'm afraid I feel guilty if I ignore it" she explained.

Rayyan took a deep breath. From here he can connect everything. His intuition was high enough to be able to deduce the circumstances.

What if Rayyan now tells his wife that the money Aura sent was not used for the care of the aunt? What if Aura finally found out if the money was even bought illegal drugs by Aunt Inggrid.

Rayyan's running out of words now. Moreover, what he arrested here is his wife considers if critically Aunt Inggrid because of illness, not because of the incident made by Aunt Inggrid himself.

"If so, I take a shower first. You wait here and we'll go to the hospital."

Aura nodded. He's not bad-minded at all. Only, her husband's calm attitude made Aura come to mind. Is the pain felt by the husband so great that there is no panic or pity at all upon hearing the Aunt being critical? Shouldn't Rayyan be reckless when she hears this?

From this Aura realized one thing, if the wound on her husband's heart due to Aunt Inggrid's actions was too big and wide, so this news seemed to have no effect whatsoever on her husband. I don't know.

Rayyan was ready fifteen minutes later. He pushed Aura's wheelchair and took her into the car. Rayyan already knew the address of the hospital from Mr. Deri.

"Darling, do you really know that Aunt Inggrid is in the hospital?"

Rayyan nodded.

"Grandma called you this afternoon?" ask Aura.

Rayyan glanced at his wife but remained focused on driving the car. How dare his grandmother call him because of this problem. Moreover, they had already used his wife first. Rayyan's feelings are now more like numbness than worry.

"I know Aunt Inggrid's in the hospital from Mr. Deri. Not because grandma called," Rayyan finally replied.

"Why didn't Grandma call you? This is a precarious matter." murmured Aura.

Rayyan just sniffed her shoulders to respond to the wife's words even though she could actually answer that with her own analogy. Grandma scared. Very scared if he knew this. So Grandma contacted Aura first, probably thinking Aura would explain that Aunt Inggrid was hospitalized due to illness. While Rayyan has known everything from Mr. Deri without a smile from the Grandmother.

They arrived at the hospital a few minutes later. And Rayyan found the grandmother who had been crying in the corridor of the hospital.

"Ray ... What is this, Ray? Artemu ..." Grandma roared while shaking Rayyan's arm.

"Grandmother, Aunt Inggrid is sick what exactly? Why is it so critical?" Aura asked from her position sitting in a wheelchair.

Grandma looked at Rayyan long ago, and grandma caught Rayyan's face as if showing anger through her silence. Suddenly grandma negangg. Does Rayyan already know the reasons Inggrid can enter the Hospital? That's Grandma's thinking.

"Inggrid is sick ..." Grandma hesitated to convey it, especially she was afraid Rayyan was getting angry especially if she lied.

"What pain, Grandma?" urge Aura.

"The pain ... ehm ..." Grandma's confused now.

And Rayyan's calm voice, instead answered his wife's curiosity.

"Tante Inggrid used illegal drugs, that's why he was rushed here."

Rayyan's answer made Aura spontaneously vertical. Without realizing it, he stood up from his wheelchair. "What?" he asked spontaneously in a tone of disbelief. "Don't tell me that the money I sent was used to buy those drugs!" he continued with his eyes bulging.

And inevitably, Grandma finally admitted. The old woman nodded to answer the curiosity of her daughter-in-law's granddaughter.
