Under the Black Umbrella
tell eyed

Ghavi kept a large brown envelope sent by his grandfather five months ago. His heart is between telling it to his eyes or not.

" What's that envelope, Nduk?"

Eyang Sosro suddenly entered the room and sat down in bed beside his grandson. There was a brown envelope in her grandson's hand that seemed to be thinking about something.

" Eh, Eyang," Ghavi replied in surprise.

" I-this, this ...," she added nervously.

" This is what, Nduk? If you speak clearly. What is this envelope? show Eyang Sosro.

Ghavi who felt unable to convey the problem only pushed the envelope in his hand on Eyang Sosro.

Eyang Sosro took it with a confused face.

" Open up!" Only that word came out of Ghavi's lips.

Out of curiosity, the old woman opened the envelope that had been moved to her hand.

The envelopes were filled one by one. There is a land certificate, an old photograph of a man in his 30s with a small, stocky child of about 10 years old and a letter.

His forehead creased as he read the contents of the letter as if it represented his surprise. Read it again to make sure.

**To, Ghavi My son,

It doesn't take many words, because, Dad's time is not much anymore.

I just wish you would fulfill my last request.

MARRY HANDY DARMAWAN'S SON.

Please, give this envelope to Om Rudi Darmawan, my friend.

The address is behind the photo.

Also include this letter that I wrote. He will explain everything to you.

Ghavi My son,

Sorry, it's weighing on you.

Greetings dear, Daddy*.*

Eyang Sosro looked at his granddaughter with a confused look. With a heavy heart Ghavi finally told everything, as his grandfather had once told him.

" Ghavi, my grandson, come here, son!"

Herman's grandfather told his grandson to sit in the bed where he lay.

" There's something Grandpa wants to tell you."

Ghavi was sitting on the bed beside his grandfather full of question marks. Ghavi was taking a bath when Ms Yoyon told him her grandfather wanted to talk about something important.

Out of curiosity, the show shower whose intention began with stretching was finally canceled. The shower was not lightning for ten minutes. After he finished changing his clean clothes, Ghavi rushed to his grandfather's room.

" What exactly is Grandpa trying to say?" his question was full of curiosity.

" Look, Grandpa felt very tired with this grandfather's illness. Grandpa was afraid that Grandpa's age would not be long," he said with eyes staring at the ceiling.

" Grandfather don't talk like that. Rest assured that Grandpa will be cured."

Grandpa Herman shook his head slowly.

" Grandfather wants to give you something, take it from your late father."

Grandfather turned to look at Mr. Yoyon who immediately nodded fully responsibly.

Mr. Yoyon, who had been standing next to his grandfather, immediately gave him a large brown envelope that was used to store the file.

" This is an envelope containing the files and wills of your father before he died."

The envelope was given to Ghavi.

Grandpa started his story.

" Rudi married because of an accident due to free association until forced to marry young. He was forced to postpone college and only enrolled when he was twenty-three and your father was nineteen."

Ghavi listened to Grandpa's story seriously.

Rudi had to work hard to support his mother and young son, considering he was expelled by his wife and in-laws two years after they married. His wife is suing for divorce Rudi obey his parents because they feel not as level because Rudi comes from a poor family. While Rudi's family itself only lives his mother who began to get sickly.

After officially divorcing his wife, Rudi moved to the capital to bring his mother and son to complain about his fate and continue his education.

At first Rudi can live his life well. There was his mother who took care of his son so that he could work at night as a security guard and go to college during the day.

A few months later, his mother returned ill. Rudi also felt the determination to divide time between work, taking care of mother and child and college.

Not only time, Rudi was constrained by the problem of the cost of his mother's treatment.

From there, Umar, Ghavi's father knocked his heart. In addition to the sense of humanity, also because Rudi is a close friend in the campus.

If there is free time, Umar often helps care for Handy, Rudi's son, and his mother when Rudi goes to work. Sometimes Umar also bought some formula milk cardboard to support the growth of small Handy flowers. Do not forget to also bring food for Rudi's mother. It was all Umar bought from the allowance given by his father who felt more.

Umar felt grateful to be born from a prosperous family to not suffer the fate of his best friend.

Days pass. Rudi finally managed to finish his education and decided to go home with his mother and son who grew up well.

Now Rudi has become a successful agricultural engineer in his hometown. Not only that, Rudi also shared the knowledge he got to the people who work as farmers about how to care, process and market agricultural products produced in his hometown.

" Your father really hoped you would fulfill his last wish" Grandfather concluded.

"The letter was written five days after the accident" he added.

Hearing the word accident, Ghavipun's eyes glazed over. The girl recalls what happened five years ago.

At that time, Ghavi was only thirteen years old. He had just been on vacation to his grandmother's cousin in Lembang, Bandung, with his grandmother. Grandma asked to return home picked up by her son because at that time Ghavi refused to take a bus that he thought was scary. Even little Ghavi roared unwilling to go home if not picked up by his parents. Finally, Umar and his wife picked him up.

However, the profit is unachievable, the unfortunate cannot be denied. Amidst the sudden journey of rainstorms fell with a tight. Umar and his wife looked for shelter.

Umar intended to park his car in front of a minimarket when suddenly a large tree shade the road collapsed on his car. Umar suffered severe head injuries, while his wife died on the spot due to falling trees.

Umar was immediately rushed to the sak8t house by residents who helped. On the seventh day, umar breathed his last following his wife.

Upon hearing the news that her son and son-in-law had an accident, Grandma Herman was struck by a stroke due to a heart attack. One year later, he also died.

Meanwhile, little Ghavi is autistic because of the trauma of hearing the accident his parents experienced. The girl who was initially chatty and jolly turned quiet and shy and had to be taken to a psychologist for speech therapy.

" Ghavi, what's wrong with you, honey?!" asked Grandpa Herman to see his granddaughter suddenly cry.

"That's okay, Cake! I-I only remember my father and mother and grandmother" she replied.

" Strengthen your heart. This is all fate of the Powerful," comforted his brother stroking his grandson's straight shoulder-length hair.

" This, keep it! You must hand over this will to Rudi as soon as possible considering that you have now graduated from High School according to the agreement that Rudi and your father made."

Herman's grandfather handed him another brown envelope that he didn't know what it contained.

" This too, keep it. Here are all important files in the form of certificates of houses, restaurants, vehicles and some bonds that you can withdraw."

" Why did you give all this to me?!" ghavi asked puzzledly as he wiped away the remains of his tears.

" For you to keep, of course. All that Grandpa gave you. You're entitled to inherit it because you're Grandpa's only granddaughter."

" But, Kek .. ," Ghavi shook his head.

" That's it. Just accept. That's not the case either. Because, Grandpa already shared it with the others and you'll know when Grandpa's lawyer reads it, "he said.

" Just like your father, Grandpa has a request for you, son."

Grandpa Herman clasped his grandson's fingers expectantly.

" W-what is it, Cake? If I can, I-I'll grant it," Ghavi asked faltered.

" Help the orphanage children in need. There are many orphans. And the property we have now has their rights. Set aside money earned from restaurants and rent. If we are sincere, God will replace it doubled," advice grandfather.

" Okay, Cake!" Ghavi agreed.

" I'll remember Grandpa's message."
