They chatted in a hospital park not far from Flova's room in the care. With a sharp look he looked at Kevin who was looking at him with the same gaze.
"Who told you?" ask Kevin.
"I'm her husband and I deserve to know what she's going through" Kai replied.
"Yes, you are her current husband. But, there will come a time when you'll be gone from Flova's life."
Kai was slightly surprised and approached towards her with glaring eyes.
"What do you mean?"
"I already know that your marriage is only on paper, right?" Kevin brought himself closer to Kai while smiling sideways.
Kai distanced himself and looked at it confusedly.
"How's..."
"I was his childhood friend. He was used to being honest with me. So, no wonder he told me so directly."
Kai wanted to hit him, but someone came and pulled his arm.
"Dad, mommy's awake. Let's see him."
Kai glanced at her and just left on the spot. Soon Kai and Alena enter the room.
"Kai?" flova asked puzzled by the weak tone of voice.
"Why didn't you tell me you were sick?"
"For what! it doesn't matter anyway, does it?" said Flova with a joke.
"Yes I was wrong. a. I.."
Flova continued to look at him with a confused and astonished look.
"Sir Kai, I know you.."
"I'm sorry."
Kai interrupted her before Flova ended her words, leaving her confused and unkempt.
"Slow sir Kai. I'm not looking to see you here, better just go."
Alena who had been waiting at the door with Kevin immediately approached Flova who was lying in a hospital bed.
"Mother, I'm sorry. Mother, forgive me." pinta Alena.
"No Alena. Remember, I've been scolding Alena and Kai isn't Alena's dad."
Alena pouted while shaking her head. He hugged Kai who was beside him.
"Engga, Kai's father is Alena's father. Mother should know that."
"Hey Alena. You're a mother's child, here's the same mother."
Flova widened her arms wide, but Alena still shook her head and tightened her embrace even more.
"It can't go on like this." Flova's inner.
"Ouch.." Suddenly Flova was in pain and held her head. Alena and Kai were panicking. Kevin also entered his room.
"Flova, are you okay?"
Kevin and Kai spoke at the same time. They stared at each other with their piercing glances.
"What mother hurts?" alena asked scared and worried.
"Eh. mother is just dizzy. Please get me some water, Alena."
"Let me just." Kai and Kevin spoke at the same time. The two of them stood straight staring at each other. Kai in his style rolled his white shirt and Kevin just folded his hands together.
"Let me take it." Kai spoke up.
"I'm just." Kevin won't budge either.
Fleva and Alena both let out a long sigh looking at the two people who were in front of them.
"Come out! Seeing you guys noisier, it just makes me feel dizzy." complained Flova who can't be restrained anymore.
"All right, I'm going out Flova. Take care of yourself." said Kevin relented.
"It's good that you're self-conscious."
Kevin took a long breath. Kai excitedly headed towards the dispenser. Kevin chose to leave.
"It's not you Kevin." Kai and Kevin alike stopped their steps and looked at Flova in confusion.
"I mean Kai has to get out of my room. No, Kevin." continued Flova who deliberately pause.
"Why should you, mother?" alena asked in surprise.
"Alena, you're sick right now. Can Alena just obey you today?" flova asked with hope.
Alena looked at Kai in confusion as well as a sad look. He looked back at Flova and hugged her.
"Sorry Alena, it's not your mother's intention to keep you away from Kai, but it's because everything that's happening is a sham."
"Yes mother. I'm sorry, Alena always doesn't obey Mother."
Kai who heard the statement also stepped wide out of the room Flova. And finally Flova was able to breathe with relief. Now, Kevin took the water and gave it to Flova.
Flova nodded and tried to get up. He was helped by Kevin and again gave a glass filled with water. Alena who saw Flova being cared for by Kevin chose to sit on the sofa while looking at the fruit and flowers brought by Kai earlier. Alena also occasionally noticed Flova who only smiled at a glance when she was with Kevin.
"I know you also like your father, but you are already on the verge of jealousy and also heartache. I'll try to persuade them to get better."
Meanwhile, Kai chose to sit in front of Flova's room while calming down. Flova's mother Nehra and Steffa ran towards him.
"Hey, are you back, son?" ask Flova's mother with worry.
"Yes Ma'am, after hearing from teacher Alena, I came straight back here" Kai replied.
"How is he doing?" ask Steffa.
"He's fine. You can already see him inside."
Ms. Flova and Steffa decided to go see him. While in this, Nehra chose to sit down with him.
"Why are you here?" nehra asked curiously.
"It's okay. There was a guest inside, so I chose to go out." Kai replied lying of prestige.
Nehra chose to nod in confidence with Kai's words. Then Nehra also permission to visit Flova in his room. He was shocked to see a foreign man in the room chatting with Flova's mother.
"Flova, how are you doing now?" nehra asked Flova.
"I'm fine now" Flova replied.
"Lucky there's Kevin. He took her this morning." said Flova's mother.
"Who is he?" nehra said, whispering in Steffa's ear.
"Ish. watch your talk. This is Alena's teacher as well as Flova's childhood friend." Steffa replied in a whisper.
Nehra nodded in understanding and let them inside. He went back outside and met Kai who was sitting leaning back while closing his eyes.
"Hey bro. You must be jealous." Nehra said as she elbowed him.
Kai rubbed his arm and remained in the same position.
"I'm not jealous. It's just.." Kai stopped his words.
"What is it? There is no other word but jealousy. Moreover, Kevin and Flova are best friends from childhood. They had a closer relationship and couldn't be one of those who didn't have feelings."
Kai quickly shook his head and looked at Nehra with a serious look.
"Come brother. You don't have to cover it anymore. You loved her. It's very clear in your eyes" Nehra said as she embraced it.
"It's not. Ah. never mind. You will never be able to understand." said Kai who did not say frankly.
Soon after, Kai is called in by his mother Flova.
"Kai, keep Flova here huh. We'll be pampering. And, let us know if anything is needed. And, tell us also if Flova has been allowed to go home. Alena should go home too. He hasn't even changed his clothes and had lunch" said Flova's mother.
"Yes mother. Sorry to bother you." said Flova.
"No hassle. Alena is the mother's granddaughter. You take good care of yourself."
Her mother kissed her daughter's forehead gently for a moment and gave her a sweet smile.
"Flova, I also seem to have to go" said Kevin, who said goodbye after his mother left.
"Hm. it's okay. Thanks for the help today. Next time, I'll pay it back."
"I volunteer to help you heal quickly."
After all saying goodbye, now there is only Kai and Flova in the room. Just a complete silence. Without looking at each other and busy with their phones.
"Tok. tok..."
The sound of knocking on the door broke their silence. Kai quickly got up from his seat. The doctor was standing at the door and Kai let him in.
"I'll check Ms. Flova's condition and take a blood stamp to make sure Miss Flova is okay. For this reason, Miss Flova is allowed to go home after the bloodstains come out and also to make sure this fever is not present suddenly."
Kai agreed to the doctor's order. Fleva who was a little afraid of needles could only close his eyes. Kai swiftly covered Flova's eyes. After taking the blood, the doctor left.
"Did it hurt?" kai asked breaking the silent atmosphere between them.
"No. Not sick at all." elak Flova.
Suddenly, someone knocks on the door again and Kai again opens the door for the person. Seeing him enter, Flova just rolled her eyes lazy because the person was none other than Rosan.
"Elekor's coming again." Inner Flova.
"Rosan? How do you know I'm here?" kai was confused.
"I happen to see your assistant at the mall while I'm shopping. And he asked me to choose a change of clothes for you. I thought you were in town B, but it turns out that you came back because he fell ill here. Well, very lucky I'm okay. And, like now he's the one who changed my position to lie on the hospital bed."
"See what you said Rosan. Thank you for bothering to drive him straight to me you better go." said Kai.
"At least he should apologize first and then I'll go."
"Don't make a fuss here Rosan. Get out of here."
There was nothing Rosan could do but leave. He glanced sharply at the door with a slanted smile.
"Look at Flova. I'll make sure you and the kid apologize to me while kneeling one day."
He left with his style of leaving the hospital just like that.
