Chapter 1 I'm not okay

If I get divorced then my career will be ruined.

Laracati. An artist who is on the rise thanks to his good acting. It caught the attention of its producers and became his wife only in the near future not long after the first film was so successful in the market.

Zaki the producer who turns out to only marry her in order to cover up many of her romance scandals. Using himself for a fake happiness mask. The sweet child of their love does not escape from this game.

Three years of marriage, has given birth to a sweet child. But Zaki's attitude only got worse.

He loves the wife of a man who is none other than his rival. Name's Irene. She is the wife of the CEO of a famous hospital. They have an affair and Irene suggests Zaki's marriage for the sake of the relationship.

Her husband's lobby doesn't believe in gossip that says his wife has an affair with Zaki. Zaki and Larasati are very happy in public as well as anywhere in every party.

And the rumor did not shake his faith in his wife. Only Larasati suffered in this scandal. Because he knows everything.

Two days a week, she would sleep alone and her husband would be out of town with Irene. Zaki will continue to say if there is no need to wait for him. But Larasati was secretly waiting for his arrival.

Tonight, Zaki suddenly has to come back because Irene suddenly foils the meeting between the two of them. And when he came home, Zaki was surprised to see Larasati was on the terrace alone.

"Lara....!" Lara was shocked to see her husband back.

"Buck...."

"Well, are you here?" Surprised ask.

"I can't sleep. " Answer replied Larasati who secretly began to love Zaki. And Zaki can't know that. Or this marriage should end if she finds out.

"Let's go in!"

They went inside and Lara made him a drink. Then they sit facing.

"Why did you come back? Didn't you go?"

"Tonight it looks like he can't leave. Maybe the day after tomorrow we'll leave. My clothes don't have to be unloaded. Leave it in the suitcase, " said Zaki flat. While Lara continued to stare at her face full of love and affection.

"Buck...."

"Yes....Al hard two years. And our marriage has been three years,"

"Then?" Ask Zaki.

"What if when he grows up he knows if our marriage is just pretending" Larasati said slowly.

Zaki seemed to be sighing deeply and exhaling heavily.

Her throat felt choked wanting her to tell him if she started to get uncomfortable with his attitude because she secretly loved him and she was afraid that three words from him would actually make her have to lose her husband.

"I'm going to sleep now. You're sleeping too, yeah,"

Irene is currently celebrating her husband's birthday which she almost forgot about. Fortunately, Mishel's son remembered him. Until he was supposed to date Zaki, he was forced to cancel and will be delayed another day.

"Darling...thank you...!" Said her husband while peeping Irene's forehead.

"You know, you are God's most beautiful gift to me. You were just made to be my wife. And I'm so happy to have you..."

"Yes, me too" said Irene.

"Why do people out there continue to doubt our love. They may be jealous because I have a wife as beautiful as you..." Said Bobi.

"Don't listen to them. I am your wife. And as long as she's gonna be your wife...."

"Of course baby. We become the perfect household icon. Maybe that's why they envy us" Bobi said.

"Hmmm...."

In the morning, Zaki is still exercising outside the house. His phone was on the cas and suddenly there was a phone ringing.

When Lara saw who the caller was, her heart became riled up.

"Mr Irene... Call this early?" inner Larasati when looking at the screen.

"Let's just!" answer Zaki.

"Hello...." Said slowly.

"Why did you pick up the phone. Where's your husband?" Irene asked curtly when she found out who lifted up instead of Zaki.

"Ehm, he's running in the morning. He asked me to lift him up.

"Ohh, so yes. Tell him we're going out of town tonight. Don't forget it...." Irene said without feeling awkward to him.

Lara just shut up. His heart ached hearing all this.

"I.ltya..."

Zaki stood in his room.

"Who's calling?"

"Mother Irene,"

"What's he saying?" Ask Zaki.

"He asked you to prepare. You're gonna go tonight to the island of Bali,"

"Oh."

Zaki then takes a shower while Lara goes out and goes to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

Why does my heart hurt? It's just a pretend marriage. But why do I feel like my chest is congested seeing my husband leave with Miss Irene.

Tonight Lara went back and forth alone in her room. He can't sleep. She thought about her husband and kept thinking about what he was doing with his lover.

Why am I jealous of him? He's my husband, but we never expressed love. On what basis am I jealous of him?

I'm really going crazy because of all this.

A short message from the CEO.

"North. We're going to Bali tonight. You'll get a new role from the writer from there," the CEO told Lara in a short message.

"All right...."

Lara prepares to go to Bali the next morning. He will leave his son to his parents who live not far from him.

After that he went to the airport and will go to Bali. At the airport he was waiting for the CEO.

They arrived in Bali at one of the CEO's Mansion. Lara just came here this one time.

"Can I see Mas Zaki?" The mind in the heart. Irene said, they went to Bali.

Today before meeting with the author the CEO invited Larasati to take a walk on the beach .

"Lara.you're so lucky. The famous writer wants you to be the female lead. I hope you use this opportunity very well. If your movie succeeds, then you'll be even more famous" the CEO said as they walked along.

"Yes. I will definitely do my best..." Lara said.

And unexpectedly the CEO sees Zaki swimming with a woman. And that woman he knew well. They were friends, she was Irene.

"Lara..is that not your husband?"

Lara surprised. She is shocked to see Zaki and Irene swimming together by the beach.

And the CEO must not know the secret behind all this. Or his career will be ruined. And he'll be divorced by Zaki.

"Hmm.that is..yes they are here. And therefore I agreed to come here..." Answer Lara.

The CEO looked intently at Lara's face and pierced into her heart. I want to know what's in this woman's heart. How can her attitude be this normal seeing her husband swimming with other women?
