Chapter 12 Love is protecting you

Zaki exited the fifth television station. And while walking to the parking lot, he passed by Bobi who had just called someone.

"Hows it? Did you make it?" bobi asked half insultingly. As if he already knew the answer.

"You keep watching me. Don't you have a job?" the Zaki's.

"Haha, I was just thinking what if your wife's contract was also canceled. What's going to happen to you two?"

"Don't touch his work! I warned you. If you touch it, then I can kill you!" Zaki is inflamed because after all Lara's work is very important. Although their marriage is not real, Zaki promises to protect his job.

"I'm sure there's something you two are hiding. If I had known, it would have been a time bomb. If exploded.buuummm! You're finished!" threaten Bobi who feels hurt and wants to destroy Zaki.

Deg. Zaki was startled and suddenly he was very worried about Lara.

"I warn you to stay away from him. If you touch a single strand of hair, I'll break your hand!" with breath blocked, Zaki went to his car. Bobi smiled with satisfaction because he made the man he loved his wife was like a fly in his eyes.

Tonight, Lara's cooking Zaki's favorite dish. For some reason when Irene met him earlier, Lara felt that there was a gap she could enter from the fractured relationship.

Zaki and Irene's relationship seems troubled since Irene's husband knows everything. Unknowingly there is hope in Lara's heart to replace Irene's position in Zaki's heart.

Zaki came in with shaky footsteps, his face looked wrinkled and greasy. It was not like Zaki who was usually cheerful and his face was glowing. It seemed that today he was getting a huge loss, if only he was betting.

"If you've had a shower, eat. I've cooked your favorite dishes" said Lara, stopping Zaki's steps.

He then looked at Lara from the tip of her foot to the tip of her hair.

"Is anyone bothering you?" asked Zaki suddenly remembered the words of Irene's husband.

"none. Whatchu mean?" Lara was confused.

"I'm going to go upstairs and take a shower" Zaki said without explaining to Lara what had happened. The cold war between her and Irene's husband has begun since her husband knew of their affair.

"Did something happen? His attitude is not as usual,"

Lara stood staring at Zaki's back until her last leg was not seen again on the stairs.

Lara sat down at the table and looked at all the dishes that were still puffing smoke as they were just ripe.

"Maybe she won't be eating dinner" Lara spoke to herself. He stared at the stairs once more, looking silent and there were no sounds of footsteps coming down from the second floor.

At 9 p.m., Zaki came down from the top floor, his stomach was hungry, so he was going downstairs to eat something.

"Why isn't the table finished yet? Did the parrot not eat dinner?" zaki said softly and turned to Lara's already dark room.

Zaki opened the hood and was shocked when he saw that the food was all still intact.

Zaki took a deep breath and like her he began to be able to control his defeat after pondering deeper.

He climbed upstairs and as he was about to open the door, he was shocked that Lara came out of his room and almost had them collided.

"What are you doing in front of my room?" reprimand Lara while holding her chest.

"Already from earlier. Have you eaten?" lara asked as she closed the door slowly so that Al would not wake up and look for her.

Zaki shook his head a little.

"Then let's eat together. I haven't eaten either" Lara asked.

"Why haven't you eaten yet? Do you want to get sick? You know if you're sick who's bothered? Me?!" suddenly Zaki spoke in a high tone scolding Lara.

Lara was shocked because of Zaki's angry tone towards her.

"If I get sick I'll go to the doctor. I won't trouble you. You don't have to worry!" lara replied with annoyance.

"You can go to the doctor. And Al? Who's gonna take care of him?" Zaki is angry for no reason and for making Lara's eyes glaze over.

"I'll take him to the doctor too. If I get sick and get treated, she'll be with me there with the sisters. But why are you so angry with me? What was my mistake? If you're upset outside, don't vent inside the house! You stupid man!"

Unexpectedly, Lara scolded him emotionally and on a high note.

Zaki chased after Lara who was coming down the stairs.

As soon as he was right behind her, he took Lara's hand and pulled her because she said stupid just now. He's very offended.

"What did you say?!"

Fortunately, Zaki held on. They almost slipped together on the ladder. And unknowingly, Lara was in the arms of Zaki holding on very firmly.

A few seconds they looked at each other, felt a rhythmic heartbeat, and one second later, they turned their faces away from each other.

"Basic! It could almost make me wretch!" rukuk Lara while walking away from Zaki.

Zaki walked behind him and pulled back lara's hand.

"If you say I'm stupid again? Die you!" Threaten Zaki stared intently at Lara's beautiful face in the light of the right lamp hitting her face.

Lara ignored him. He just grumpily salutations his heart.

They had dinner together. There were no quarrels, and they both enjoyed dinner because of a hungry stomach.

"You better be careful from now on." said Zaki suddenly and stunned lara. Did he not hear wrong? his inner. After a fight, he suddenly became an attention snob.

"Why indeed?"

"Because....." Zaki wanted to say that Bobi could have harmed him. But those words could not come out of his two lips.

"I'll take you where you've been since now,"

"Huh? Whahuh? Aren't you busy?" Being happy and surprised makes Lara not hungry anymore.

"I want to take a leave of absence from my job for the next few months." said Zaki hiding the real reality that he is now unemployed.

He even went to other television stations but all refused to cooperate with him.
