Chapter 19 I'm not letting you go

"Please enter"

Zaki is shocked to see the CEO and producer visiting his house without informing them first. Because usually if they will visit they always give news first so that the house can prepare something for its guests.

Zaki's focus this time is clearly on the CEO. In his heart he was not happy the CEO came and met his wife. Moreover, his application to Lara has not received a definitive answer. The intense jealousy of the CEO approaching Lara is unstoppable again this time.

"Honey.there's guests..." Call Zaki who instantly changes from his habits.

Lara walked over to greet her guests with slightly flushed cheeks. His face was obviously very upset when Zaki called him dear because there was interest in it.

"Darling..ayo hurry up here...!" repeat Zaki as soon as his wife comes.

The CEO and Producer who already knew about the fake marriage was just a small smile. It was as if laughing at Zaki's uncharacteristic attitude. Especially the CEO, he knows very well how arrogant Zaki is to his wife.

"Please enter.."

Lara is kedapur after inviting her guests. He took a drink and cut some cold fruit for his guests.

Lara then sat down near the CEO to make Zaki's face inflamed.

"Sit here, baby.." pinta Zaki with the corner of an intimidating eye.

"Eh, yes..." Lara who knew what Zaki's gaze meant immediately moved right into her seat.

The CEO just smiled amusedly at Zaki's attitude which seemed like a real husband.

"Live it, our arrival is due to the news in the media. Don't you know yet?" said the CEO brought one of the magazines and showed it to Lara.

Zaki and Lara look at each other and Lara takes the magazine out of the hands of the CEO. Quickly his eyes shifted while digesting what was written there with bold letters.

"Who spread all this. Zaki..look at it!" Lara is shocked and gives the magazine to Zaki for her to read as well.

Zaki had guessed who could do all this. He must be the culprit! inward Zaki refers to Irene's husband.

Now Zaki's focus is the career of Lara, his wife. Moreover, he knows if soon he will launch his latest film from a famous writer who is in the public interest.

"This is not true!" zaki said he dismissed all the issues that could destroy Lara's career instantly.

Lara looked at Zaki and waited for what she would do for this scandal.

The CEO and Producer stared at Zaki and waited for his next action.

"We're really married. We are just like any other couple. Married and then had children and committed to protecting each other until the end of our lives, right my wife?" Zaki stomped on Lara's feet until she was shocked and grimaced in pain.

"Yeah. We'll be together forever" Lara's reply clearly broke someone's heart. The CEO smiled bitterly at Lara's face and at once her heart was crushed. If it was true what he said, then the hope he had kept for him was dashed already.

"This scandal has caused you to lose half your followers in the media. This is unfortunate because the launch of the film will be done soon," said the CEO staring at Zaki as well as Lara.

"We will hold a press conference to clarify all of that. We make sure your film will still be warmly welcomed by the community" Zaki assured the producer.

"Do the right thing immediately. If not, I may be at a great loss, but your wife's career will be dimmed by this scandal" the producer advised Zaki.

"We understand.." replied Zaki and glanced at the CEO with a cynical look.

You think you're gonna take him from me? It will never be! his mutter spoke for himself as he stared sinisterly at the CEO's face.

"No papa. Next time you can invite us again," the Producer looked at the CEO who was silent in a thousand languages.

Wishing the scandal was true and Lara came to him as a single woman.

But it seems, the life expectancy with him was dashed already today.

They then leave after their business is done.

Before leaving, the CEO texted Lara and wanted to speak to her with four eyes.

Lara saw the message when the CEO got in her car. After reading the message Lara smiled to herself. That was apparently noticed by Zaki. She becomes curious what makes Lara smile herself and snatches the phone from Lara's hand.

"What's wrong? Why look at it like that?" zaki asked with a very fast hand movement.

"Hey! Restore it!" shout Lara.

Zaki quickly read the message.

"Bas with that crocodile!" Zaki is upset that the CEO secretly wants to meet his wife.

"Don't meet him!" Ban it on Lara.

"I have to meet him. This must be important," Lara said after getting her phone back.

"And oh yeah. I don't like you taking my phone like that. Why are you forcing me to know everything?"

"God! Hear that! Your career is on the edge. I'm trying to save your career. You should thank me!"

"What do you mean thank you? It's all because of you!"

"What?!" Zaki shouted while glaring at him.

"That's it. I need to meet with the CEO. You take care of Al as long as I'm not back,"

"I told you you should stay home! Why don't you obey me?"

"I'll only see him for a moment. Why are you banning you and getting angry like this? You're like my husband?" lara said and she secretly picked up her bag to immediately run away from Zaki's face.

"That's, because..i...i...i...m., I...."

Zaki had not yet finished his sentence, Lara had already dashed out of the living room.

"Heh wait! Where are you going?"

But Lara was out of the yard quickly and then took a taxi that was not far from there.

Zaki is upset that he can't catch his wife. He turned around because he left Al alone in his house.

"This woman, why is she running so fast. Fuck up!"

Zaki is grievous because Lara is stubborn and goes to see the CEO anyway.

"Just look at it when you get back!" Threaten Zaki with a very upset face.
