Chapter 21 Feeling jealous

Zaki repeatedly looked at his watch. It's midnight Lara hasn't come back yet. He became very worried. Zaki immediately went to bring Al to be entrusted to his parents.

"Why do nights disturb our sleep?" ask his mother when she goes out to meet Zaki.

"Well, I'm taking Al tonight" Zaki said, holding Al from the car and giving it to his mother.

"Why indeed? You look so worried?"

Zaki. However she could not say if Lara had not returned this late.

"It's a big deal, I'm in a hurry" Zaki said without answering his mother's questions.

"Hey....wait!"

Shouted his mother but Zaki had already left darting away quickly.

Zaki contacts Lara, but her phone is not picked up. It made him panic and annoyed.

Zaki then called the CEO and asked where his wife was.

"Is Lara still with you?" ask Zaki to the CEO who tonight is immersing himself in his new project to forget the disappointment in his heart.

"No. We met for a while then I left her at...."

Suddenly the CEO hung up his phone and immediately walked out of his house.

And it's true. As soon as she got to the bar, Lara was still there. The CEO then approached Lara and she became pity to see him like this.

"Mara...." The call from a voice that she was very familiar with made Lara's head that felt heavy turn towards that voice.

"Ehm, you...." Lara looked at him with a glare.

"Why is it still here this late?" The CEO immediately helped Lara stand up.

"Your husband is looking for you. I'll take you home" the CEO said while Lara was just trying to open her eyes that felt so heavy. He just nodded because it was under the influence of a drink.

The CEO opened the door for her and tied the seatbelt to her body. At that moment some of Lara's hair covered her face in a mess. When Lara half looked down, the CEO looked at her fixedly and deeply, then flicked her hair with one of her fingers.

"It doesn't need to be like this" he muttered looking at the face that suddenly closed his eyes as soon as he was sitting comfortably in the CEO's car.

Not long after, they arrived at Zaki's house. The CEO immediately stopped and helped Lara down and then swept her inside.

Zaki who had been waiting since then immediately approached the two of them and stared intently at the CEO with jealousy that he could not show.

"You can go home. There's been me. And. thanks.." she said as she took Lara out of the CEO's hand nimbly.

"Ehm.da....." Lara suddenly opened her eyes and smiled when she saw the CEO was about to leave. Seeing that, Zaki grew increasingly upset and brought in Lara denfan quickly.

The CEO only shook his head as Zaki walked in and closed the door a little loudly.

Zaki lays Lara on the bed in her room. Then slowly he took off Lara's shoes, and opened a few buttons of her shirt so that she would not be crowded.

"Ck, what do you think I want? I'm just making you comfortable,"

"Hahahaha..I thought you'd make me have another child?"

"Sleep! I'm going to my room." said Zaki after turning off the lights in Lara's room. Tonight there was no point in her being angry or upset at him, because he was in an unconscious state.

In the morning, Lara wakes up and immediately goes downstairs looking for Zaki and Al.

"Zaki....!"

"Al...!"

"Where are they so early?"

Lara seems to wake up bad luck. Because it's ten o'clock now.

"Oh my God, I'm bad luck..But..Where are they?"

Lara went to the bathroom because she felt like her body smelled like a drink. After she brushed her teeth, she remembered that the CEO was driving her home. Then Zaki is seen wiping him into his room.

"Why am I like this?" Mumbled Lara regretting because yesterday she carried away her feelings and vented her on the drink.

Zaki fulfills his promise to save Lara's career. He held a press conference and made a statement there. All the reporters were ready with their cameras.

"Zaki, it's live. Don't make a mistake" Producer Lara said.

"I know,"

Zaki answered walking at the front desk and sat down and greeted everyone who had been waiting for him since.

"Regarding the news of our marriage, I actually said from my deepest heart. Larasati is the woman I love and I will be by her side forever. So the contract marriage is in circulation, it's not true. We will be together forever." Zaki said firmly.

Some people get rowdy and some of them feel satisfied.

"You did what you were supposed to do" the producer said, smiling with relief from where he stood.

Zaki left the room and this time it was just a statement there was no question and answer session. After that he went inside and the news came to the attention of the entire community including Bobi.

He looked in his office, saw the news Bobi was disappointed because Zaki was not easy to break, and was also relieved, if it was true that he loved Larasati, then Irene would not have an affair with him again.

"If that's true, I don't need to worry anymore," he muttered with a slanted smile as he slightly nodded.

While in the hospital, Irene was lying weak, she had severe nausea this morning. And it turns out she's currently pregnant with Bobi's child.
