Episode 24
- Cadet -
Ran pegs the paper he holds before meeting Bayu who is still in his class.
He tried to convince himself that he would follow the KAPI cadre because he intended to spy on the youth organization. He had to prove to Digo that the guy was wrong, Ran was not that easy to look at.
Ran waited for Bayu casually while occasionally playing his phone. He sat on the bench outside the Bayu class, behaving normally as if he did not wait for anyone to be inconspicuous and unnoticed.
Perhaps some guys whether senior or his passing class must be stealing a glance at the prima donna of this campus. But not Ranne Fakhria if he does not put on a look cuek and bodo very.
Bayu came out with some friends. There was Jeremy, and so on. They whistled softly when they found out that Ranne Fakhria was waiting for Bayu Rahardian in front of her class. "Aseek, it's really good to be out of class, there are waiting," seduced friends Bayu.
Bayu just grinned and told his friend to go first. There is a happy sensation for Bayu to realize that Ran is waiting for him to leave the classroom. But on the other hand, of course, because Ran wants to provide a KAPI member candidate form.
Without speaking, Ran thrust the brown paper map at Bayu. Bayu accepted it without taking his eyes off Ran's pretty face.
"Gue said good-bye first..." Ran wanted to pass after the item was handed over but Bayu held back his steps.
"Ran, do you know anything that should be prepared?" ask Bayu.
Ran shook his head. "Let me chat if so," said Bayu.
"okay." Ran wants to continue his steps but Bayu again stops him.
"Lo want me to pick up when I go to training tomorrow, don't you?" tawar Bayu's. "Distance to 30 minutes. After training later you will definitely be tired of having to go home driving alone. Moreover, you bring a suitcase for nginep a week."
Ran was silent thinking about the offer. Yes, take the bike for 30 minutes that time alone has made Ran feel tired. Especially after a week of training that drains the mind and energy.
Did I bring a car, huh? thought Ran.
"Where's Ran?" tanya Bayu disperse her daydream.
"Emm.. can deh Bang, if not ngerepotin," nods Ran. According to him there is no harm in also receiving help Bayu, weighing will save more energy as well. After all, from now on, he must familiarize himself with Bayu in order to spy without awkward.
Bayu smiled sweetly. Any girl would melt that smile. But for Ran is still sweeter smile Digo times huh?
After parting ways, Ran heads to basecamp. He did not have a course today, to the campus just to meet Bayu.
Once he arrived at the White Hero headquarters there was no one, the lock sekre he first opened, maybe again on the ngampus considering this is still at 2 pm. Ran also settles down on the soft sofa he used to sit on, hump guys on nothing.
Suddenly, a question popped up in his head. How does he explain to Digo, Bara and Zufan that he will be gone a week and not going to the base camp that long. Including, how he should explain to Somi and Aiden where he will go plus skip 4 classes for a week tomorrow. There's no way Ran could just run away and disappear.
Dizzied looking for an excuse for a week, Ran was asleep on the sofa. He finally woke up two hours later. The girl was a little surprised to find herself again asleep in the basecamp and she was even more shocked when Digo was sitting on his single sofa cuefully reading a book.
"Lo's been sleeping less lately, huh?" Digo's behind nanya. "That's what makes you sick, has lunch?"
Ran only blinked his eyes once, his mouth wanted to lie say it already, but his heart did not want to compromise. But, Digo must be angry if he knew he had not eaten yet when it was already afternoon.
"Do you want to buy food?" tawar Digo who like to know Ran's complaint. Ran just silently looked at Digo, confused as to why the guy was now so suddenly kind and considerate.
"Gue buy food yesterday, want?" ask Digo again. Before Digo returned to being evil, Ran quickly nodded his head.
Without speaking again, Digo closed his reading book and got up to snatch the motor key on the table, then the figure left without a sound.
Not knowing why, a strange feeling flashed on Ran. Imagine, for the next week he will not meet Digo ...
He felt like something was going to be missing for a while.

Ran pulled his mini suitcase out of the house, the item was immediately greeted by Bayu and put it in the trunk of his car. Yes, this is the first day Ran took KAPI cadre training.
While in the car, the most raving is Bayu. Bayu provides tips and an overview of the activities to be followed over the next week. "Anyways, you won't miss this training. Bener-bener make you become a different person in a positive sense after completion of training," said Bayu. "Science here will not be able to lo dapet anywhere, ntar lo can also mengerasain kinship KAPI tuh how."
Ran just nodded and responded a bit to Bayu's story. While his real thoughts are still left in Jakarta, his campus and the basecamp.
Arriving at the headquarters, he was escorted by the committee to the dormitory located behind the KAPI secretariat. There are rooms and a fairly large hall that houses meetings or events. Of course, the lodging of women and men is separated quite far, considering this is an external organization of youth who uphold morals and pancasila.
While waiting for the opening of the training, Ran gets acquainted with some new people. The total trainees who participated in the training were 15. They come from different schools and universities. Ran became the youngest trainee because it was still the first semester, oh yes, Zidan as well.
After Ran asked the reason Zidan entered KAPI, it seems that the man had no other intention than to be trained to be able to become a leader and candidate for the Chairman of BEM Faculty of Engineering 2 more years.
Ran does not know what he will get for the next week, but Ran is determined to do well. Counting he got science, friends, and bravery.
The first day to the third day immediately became difficult days for Ran. In addition to the non-stop 12 hours, the cadre is also quite heavy. It's the same with ospek but the extreme version. Participants were physically tested with exercise one hour after waking up, the wake was not counted at six but four.
Material about leadership, activists, politics, student reform struggle in 1998, idealism, to the discussion of god and religion also makes the brain feel like spewing out the sciences that are forced into it in just one week.
Master of Training (MoT) and his brothers were fierce. Squat jump here is the lightest punishment if it violates the training rules. Even the slightest mistake such as being late to sleep at the appointed hour is still on trial the next day. That's it, the portion of the meal is really a little bit. The nutrition feels out of balance with the needs of the brain that must think critically to receive all the heavy material given. Not to mention the attack of drowsiness when the material is described, nguap little told squat jump for the girl, push up for the guy. Many decide to stop halfway and go home because of the fragile mentality.
For the first time, Ran felt the toughest week of his life. But he was determined not to give up. If this feeling arises, only one becomes his encouragement, Digo. If he succeeds through it all he will meet a guy with a stronger and more courageous mentality, so Digo can consider him a reliable partner.
Ah, if you think about it again, Ran misses the guy....
