Chapter 4 The Brutal Mother-in-law
"Take this shit like what you're cooking?" Read Lusiana's mother-in-law as she stares alternately between Luciana and the dishes located on the table.
Lusiana's mother-in-law, Salma Widyawati, did not hesitate to show her unhappy face to Luciana when she was starving.
Lusiana just smiled at the face of her mother's jutek. "Ma, this is chicken soy sauce, soup, tempeh and brain-fried brains." Luciana then took a bowl of fried sambal and a plate containing a stew of vegetables.
Luciana patiently arranged the dining table so that it looked more attractive and it made her mother-in-law's stomach sound.

The sound of her stomach made Mother-in-law Lusiana embarrassed but the painstaking woman who had finished cooking allowed her mother to sit at the dinner table and eat lunch.
"Ma, it's a fast and healthy meal. If you only eat fast food later you can get sick because of malnutrition," said Luciana with the intention of paying attention to her mother-in-law.
Unfortunately Mother-in-law considers different words of Luciana. "Do you want to swear to me that you're dying of fast food, huh?"
Even so the footsteps of Mother-in-law Lusiana approached the dining table and sat on a chair. She stared at Luciana sneerily as she said, "Because I'm hungry I'm forced to eat this junk food."
"Hurry and get me some rice and side dishes!" The mother-in-law made Lusiana serve him as usual. Luciana also took rice and various side dishes that filled the contents of the mother-in-law's plate.
Afterwards, Luciana went to Raymond's room to call him lunch. Earlier, Luciana told Raymond to come down at 12 pm but it was still at half-time 12 so Luciana decided to call Raymond instead of the food at the dinner table so cold.
Luciana knocked on Raymond's door until the adorable boy opened the door and peeked. "Mama's done cooking?" Her adorable round eyes and cute voice made Luciana's heart melt.
At first Lusiana felt a bit upset because of her quarrel with the mother-in-law, but when she saw the plain face of her son, the annoyance was lost replaced with happiness.
"Where let's go down! I'm so hungry." Raymond grabbed onto Luciana's hand and with the other hand he held his stomach and put on a clear expression.
Feeling anxious, Luciana squatted down and pinched Raymond's soft cheeks. "Geez, it's so funny Mama's son."
Raymond was upset that his mother was acting that way again. "Mama, let's get down!" Said Raymond with a little emphasis on his words. He does not like to be treated like that.
He doesn't like to be considered cute. She preferred that Luciana consider her smart and could provide a sense of protection for her mother.
Meanwhile Chika arrives home and smells a nice scent from the kitchen. He immediately approached the smell of such delicious cooking.
"Ehm, it smells from the kitchen." He kept sniffing at the good smell and saw his mother eating voraciously at the dinner table.
"Mother, what's sister-in-law cooking? The money's good." Chika who saw the appearance of cooking on the table just put her bag and spooned the rice and side dishes were quite a lot.
"There's chicken, tempeh, otak-otak and soup. There is also a vegetable stew." Chika drooled when she saw the side dish that looked so delicious.
By the time they arrived most of the side dishes were almost gone because it turned out Chika came home from school early and ate more as usual.
Whether it was because of hunger or indeed Luciana's cuisine was so delicious. Luciana and Raymond took the rice and side dishes left for them to eat.
"Ma, I'm asking for 100 million more!" Chika suddenly chirps when no one is talking.
The mother-in-law asked him if he wanted any more money while only a few hours ago the mother-in-law of Lusiana sent him money.
Chika also said she wanted to use the money to go on vacation with her friends.
The lunch continued with the chatter of the two of them but at that time Luciana was reluctant to interfere, she also seemed to start getting tired if she had to keep fighting mouth with her mother-in-law and sister-in-law.
After they finished eating, they left the table without saying a word of thanks. Luciana looked at the pile of dirty dishes and immediately washed it.
"Mother, can I help you wash the dishes too?" Raymond's small hand reached for the apron Luciana used.
Luciana looked to her left side, a little child was pulling an apron that she was using. Who else if not Raymond? She was very excited to help Luciana wash the dishes.
Luciana took the children's toy ladder and placed it on the left. Raymond climbed the stairs and helped Luciana wash the dishes.
"Mother's son is very diligent, someday your wife will definitely be the happiest person in the world."
"No mother, I don't want to get married. I just want to be with my mom and take care of my mom when I grow up" Raymond said firmly. There was confidence in both of her eyes that made Luciana take it seriously.
"No, Raymond will also have to be happy. Mother's happiness is to see Raymond build a harmonious family and have children." There was sadness in Luciana's heart when she said that. She knew for herself that she was having an unhappy marriage.
Raymond caught the grief immediately. "Mom don't have to worry. When I grow up, I will make my mother happy first. After that I just got married." Raymond smiled and showed his small teeth.
Luciana smiled when she saw her son laughing. He only realized when talking about the strange thing about the future of his son's marriage to a 5-year-old little boy.

The dishes were washed and Luciana brought Raymond back to her room. The shades of the blue sea room with various toys of boys filled Raymond's room.
Luciana gave Raymond medicine to drink. Raymond easily finished the medicine even though it was bitter.
After that Luciana let Raymond take a nap. She left her son's room after confirming that Raymond had completely fallen asleep.
The clock in his hand already showed at half an hour in the afternoon. He had to go to the office to work. Susiana immediately went with the SUV he used to use and became the only car he had.
