Jay raises the corner of his mouth when he sees the wife's name on the chat app.

[Honey, don't be late tonight. Remember, right, what day is it today?]

[Yes, honey. Don't forget my gift.]

Yes, today, Jay Wijaya is celebrating his twenty-fifth birthday. This year too, Jay will be celebrating his first birthday with Melinda after they get married. Because of this, Jay turned down a party that would be held by the board of directors at the company as in previous years.

Jay pulled over the car in front of the flower shop. The shopkeeper girl who used to serve it, immediately took the same flowers every day Jay bought for his wife. Since his heart was happy, Jay gave the girl many tips.

After buying flowers, Jay stopped by a jewelry store to pick up a necklace with a rare sapphire she had ordered last month. Initially, Jay wanted to give the necklace as a gift for their first wedding anniversary next month. But, he couldn't bear to not give it away this time either.

With a feeling of pleasure, Jay returned to drive the car towards the house. It took him five minutes to finally arrive at the third-level house that was almost like a palace.

The front of the house is not as usual. The headlights are turned off. No waiter came to greet him. In fact, security is also not visible at the checkpoint.

Jay was not worried or afraid of something happening to his wife, he smiled happily. She thought Melinda was preparing to give her a surprise.

Hearing that, Jay immediately sent a message to his trust lawyer. After she signs a file from her cell phone, Jay rushes out of the house.

His wife's favorite red rose was thrown in the trash along with a necklace of hundreds of millions. His love for Melinda just disappeared. Replacing with severe disgust.

A black car belonging to the lawyer finally appeared in front of the gate. Jay opens up to a middle-aged man who is also a friend of his father's.

Jay could not pretend to be surprised and happy. She was silent as Melinda sang to him.

The second surprise from Melisa, a romantic meal together with homemade cooking. Of course, Jay knew Melinda was lying. Where would Melinda dirty her hands in the kitchen.

The dinner was quick because Jay did not want to linger seeing his wife. Melinda has cleaned the cutlery off the table. Then, he handed the small box to Jay. However, Jay first put a red map with a circular yellow ribbon.

"What is this, honey?" ask Melinda enthusiastically.

"Gift for you. Open it."

Melinda's eyelids opened wide when reading the contents. Along with his mouth which was instantly covered with palms. Jay could see his wife shaking violently.

"This is so good! I don't have to divorce you, baby!" Melinda jumps up small in excitement.

"W-what..." Jay's voice was stuck in his throat.

Jay stood up, not expecting Melinda to unmask him right now. He stumbled back and lost his balance. He just realized something was wrong.

Beni's figure finally appeared behind Melinda's back. The man hugged the woman who was still his wife. While Jay has fallen under their feet.

"He's finally dead! We're rich, honey!"

Jay could not say anything. His tongue was cheesy, his eyes were hot and his heart was pounding unruffled. A moment later, his consciousness began to disappear.

Jay stood up while still shaking as if he had just drowned and was out of breath. His eyes moved around the room.

There was no Melinda and Beni. There are only narrow and shabby rooms. The nausea radiates to the surface. Jay hates dirty places like this.
