Chapter 4's

Melinda walked past Jay and sat right on the bench behind him. Jay's chest rumbles. His anger and hatred rose again. However, he was more curious about what Melinda would do.

"Why have you been so busy lately, Mel? Until never to go home."

"Sorry, Ma. Yesterday I was afraid Jay was suspicious."

'Mama? Since when does she still have a mother?' Jay asked in his heart.

Jay's chest warmed up to hear their words. Apparently, Melinda lied about her parents. As Jay knows, Melinda's parents have passed away.

Even as a model, Melinda said the same thing. Therefore, Jay never investigated Melinda's background.

"Now is it all done? Is he dead? You got the part, right?"

"Before he died, he canceled the power of attorney, Ma."

"Well! Then you got nothing? Though all this time you've had a lot of trouble because of him," said Melinda's mother.

'What? The trouble? Just be right! Who is making trouble who is here?!' Jay wanted to shout it in front of Melinda's mother, but she couldn't possibly do it.

"Just calm down, Ma. I have a secret asset that I secretly took without Jay's knowledge."

"Anything?" Melinda's mother was getting excited.

"Later I'll show you directly. I don't want to meet because of that. I want to get married to Mas Beni, Ma."

"When do you get married? If it can be soon. You've been dating for five years, but you've been busy taking Jay down for revenge."

"If you can be soon. But, it does not need a fancy event so that people do not suspect" Melinda said.

'Take revenge? What have I done to them?' Jay is getting curious.

While Jay's curiosity has not been answered, a holographic screen of the system appears. Jay wants to erase that annoying and disturbing screen, but can't and doesn't know how.

[Do you want to open a special mission? Gift ???]

'Special mission? What else is that? Why is the prize a question mark?'

[Open special mission.]

'Who told you to open it? I'm just asking! Tch, maybe the system or something, can read my mind?'

"Win!" derry's call surprised Jay.

"Yes? What?!" Jay gasped until he almost shouted.

Both Melinda and her mother watched the two of them because of the commotion Jay caused. Derry looked politely at Melinda. Who does not know the boss's wife?

Knowing that Jay's company employees were still there, Melinda and her mother left. Melinda smiled at Derry and Jay as she passed her desk.

Jay once loved that smile. Melinda's smile is more beautiful than any woman's smile. In fact, even flowers are less beautiful by the beauty of his smile. Flowers cannot smile!

However, all he felt at this moment was anger and nausea when he saw Melinda's face. Jay wanted to tear Melinda's face and throw her into the sea.

"What's wrong with you, Win?"

"It's okay. I'm the one who wants to ask, why did you ask me to come here?" Jay is losing his patience.

"Oh, right, I almost forgot."

Derry's face looked delighted. Looks like there'll be something good going on with it. Jay was calm.

Derry raised one of his eyebrows. He actually felt a bit strange with Winardi's current attitude and manner of speaking. But he didn't want to say it directly. He thought Winardi was just stressed out about not being able to work.

The joy engraved on Derry's face clearly offended Jay. How could anyone have the heart to have fun on top of his suffering?!

"Why are you quiet, Win? Aren't you happy? He's already trampling on your pride in public!"

"When do I do that?!" Jay started to growl.

"Huh? You're what?"

"No! I mean, why do you laugh at people like that? If you know your boss is sick, you should pray for him! What kind of subordinate are you?"

"He never appreciates employees who he thinks are useless. I have worked hard all this time. You also know how arrogant that guy is" Derry sneered.

"It doesn't mean you can laugh at his misfortune." Jay screeches.

'The employees are useless! All this time, I have never been stingy about giving a salary, providing a free lunch full of nutrition, and also giving a bonus that is not small for outstanding employees. He could have said to me!'

"I'm still pissed that Jay's treating you like that."

"He must have had a clear reason for offending others. Not that I'm right because I'm on the losing side and suffering."

Derry is surprised by Winardi. "Why did you suddenly defend him? It's so weird."

"I'm not defending him. You're the one who's sensitive about continuing to vilify others."

A waiter who brought their order broke their debate. When Jay began to gulp down the food in annoyance, a hologram screen appeared again in front of him.

Jay was choking on his own food. In his head, he immediately calculated the costs to support himself and began to open a business.
