Edginess (Axiety)
‘My Anxiety, Don't Want You Injured’
What is wrong with being poor? No one wants to be born poor, and have bad luck like me, because I believe every human being is special and precious. So did my father, who meant so much to me, even though people told me to leave him. At my young age, they thought his presence would only slow down my future? I don't think that's true.
My father, he's been there for me for 20 years, then what 2 years have I spent caring for him been comparable to all that?

“You are a great dancer, really, Chaeyeon-ah, what a pity if the trainee you did not take.” grumbled Heo Yunjin, a classmate of Chaeyeon who has always supported Chaeyeon's dream as a singer. Unfortunately, already 2 years ago the long curly-haired girl decided to stop, so inevitably Yunjin perceives her continue, offering choices and lastly, so upset, so bad, Yunjin said it was better to send her father to a nursing home.
For that proposal, Chaeyeon was furious. And for almost a week they don't talk to each other, until Yunjin apologizes and tries to straighten out the misunderstanding.
“Justify Kaeun-ah, when else can you audition on the road?” yunjin was forced to shut up after being nudged by Kaeun. The three of them are now walking home.
“Hm,” begins deheman, Chaeyeon waits for Kaeun to talk, usually the tall girl with shoulder-length hair can give good advice. “I don't blame your decision, but if necessary, consider it again. There will be a way out if you want to find answers, do not be in a hurry, think whatever you think is good.” there is no word from Chaeyeon, Kaeun understands, if deciding is a difficult thing, if deciding is a difficult thing, maybe he and Yunjin should give Chaeyeon time to be alone.

Opening the old door in one of the houses in the small alley, Chaeyeon immediately walked in and took off her shoes. “Appa, I came home,” the thrill of changing footwear with sandals.
The house did not have much space, so it was easy for Chaeyeon to see her father sitting next to him wearing a blanket in front of a lighted television. Even so the father did not watch, he fell asleep with his head stumbling, leaning so hard on the wall.
Chaeyeon walked over, smiling slightly before turning off the television. He moved closer to his 54-year-old father, kneeling casually in front of Chun Hojin who had a lot of gray hair on his head. Watching from above the head, a face full of tired and wrinkles, Chaeyeon's gaze stopped on the legs. Blankets are used only up the thighs, the rest is not there. Since 2 years ago, due to an accident, his leg was amputated.
“Appa, I can't leave you, there's nobody but us. Since mom died, you're all I have.” Chaeyeon said. Patting his thighs slowly and getting up, took out a pillow for his father to use carefully and gently.

Daydreaming in class after the lesson was over and the bell rang, Chaeyeon looked up at the sky, until Yunjin knocked on the table to wake her up.
“You didn't eat?” tanya Yunjin, stand with Kaeun.
“No, you guys only.” reject Chaeyeon.
Yunjin and Kaeun sat at a glance, as if understanding, and unexpectedly they took out a lot of food behind their backs along with 4 boxes of supplies. Chaeyeon. His eyes imply novelty. Although they often quarrel, Chaeyeon knows both are so fond of her, this form of their attention is proof, if they will be ready to help at any time.
“Do you cry?” ledek Yunjin who had already dragged the chair to near Chaeyeon. Open one of the things he made.
“Yakk, eat my own, the cooking is not good,” joked Kaeun.
“Yakk!” cambik Yunjin pretended to be angry. Thankfully, Chaeyeon still has friends, and importantly, her stomach is hungry, she just has to save money, if she buys food in the cafeteria then her father's medicinal costs will be reduced.

Her personality was not so cheerful, nor was it cold, but for some days Chaeyeon seemed uninspired. She desperately wants to be a trainee and achieve her dream of becoming a singer, but not for now, for now, she still has to take care of her father. But on the other hand, Chaeyeon is afraid, if later it is ‘late’, when many teens who have made their debut.
Like Jang Wonyoung who is currently sitting with her manager at the cafe where Chaeyeon works. Their presence for the sake of reality show, and of course invite many people to see, not infrequently some want to take pictures with the 16-year-old singer.

“I pu...” the call was interrupted by the sound of someone falling in the bathroom, Chaeyeon rushed in especially the door that was open. His father fell down and desperately tried to get up with a toothbrush in his hand. “Appa, alright?” worried Chaeyeon with a pale face. Grazing the toothbrush with a smudged and angry face, “Didn't I tell you let me get it, wait until I get home.” lamented, not because I don't like it but more because Chaeyeon feels very worried.
“It's okay, appa should be able to do something on her own. Appa must learn independently. You, rest, don't worry.”
“Mana can appa talk like that. I deserve to feel anxious, therefore, don't do this to me!” Chaeyeon stared at her father, holding back tears. He just felt tired, because often he had thought if .. if only he could leave his father.

Quite quiet, the class that had broken up since then was increasingly silent after Chaeyeon decided to end her ideals and thought to go to college as usual, work part-time and get a job. For him it will be difficult to get time to care for his father if he becomes an idol. After all, not all of those dreams had to be fulfilled, and there were still many other things that Chaeyeon could do.
“While I disagree, but if you have decided, I can only support you. Whatever happens, do not hesitate to ask for my help, I will always be beside you.” Yunjin's smile cheers up.
And all Kaeun did was pat Chaeyeon on the shoulder warmly, then invite them to eat tteokboki together.
Upon arriving home, returning home early to spend time with his father, Chaeyeon buys his father's favorite samgyetang and sundae. But the house seems empty, Chun Hojin is nowhere. Digging his fingernails in a panic, Chaeyeon came out in a hurry, asking the neighbors and people around. A laundry aunt in another alley said she saw her father leave early this morning shortly after Chaeyeon left for school with a cane, but did not answer where to go but to seek the wind.
As if his life was almost out of breath, Chaeyeon kept looking in every alley, corner of the house, and her eyes were already teary-eyed miserably. Where did his father go under such conditions. Did something bad happen to her?
Dilanda felt awkward, Chaeyeon stopped in place of one of the alley that was quite far from home and suddenly his legs limp. His heart melos pain when he saw his father was scavenging plastic drinks, cardboard and others.
“Appa!” chaeyeon cried out, approaching with matchless sadness. Hojin was surprised to not expect Chaeyeon to find him. “What are you doing? I looked for you everywhere,” Chaeyeon still held herself back, glancing at the sack filled with collected trash.
“Chaeyeon-ah ..”
“Why can you do this to me!” chaeyeon exclaimed, throwing the sack as well as the bottle of drink that Hojin would take in his wand. “I never told you to look for money, I can still look for it. I don't need any money from you, so stop and ..”
“Appa doesn't want to take away your future.” by Hojin. Chaeyeon fell silent, and unconsciously began to sob slowly, always the excruciating pain she felt every time she saw her father. “Today you've sacrificed your time for appa,”
“I am your son, because it ..”
“A father can't demand a return. If the father spends time and makes money for the child, it is an obligation and a pleasant thing, but if the child has to bear the suffering for the sake of parents, then the status as a father becomes embarrassing. Appa knew all along that you kept everything alone, and didn't want to hurt me, but you could stop Chaeyeon-ah. Appa still has a hand, and of course life, Appa will always be with you, and support whatever you want. So, don't hurt yourself again, don't feel the need to do everything for you, seeing you smile and success is my happiness. A father just wants his son to be happy.” the meek speech tickles Chaeyeon's conscience to be even more sad, also relieved. Because finally he could shed the tears that he had always been resistant to.

With a friendly smile imprinted on her sweet face, Chaeyeon serves the customer, moving nimble to make this and that, until a warm pat from Sunghyeok stops her movement. Chaeyeon saw the man glancing at her watch, as if to remind her. Jokingly saluting Chaeyeon understood, taking off the apron that was coiled around her waist and parting permission. If after this he would usually go to another workplace, then now Chaeyeon went to the training ground, after chatting and chatting from heart to heart with her father, she said, Chaeyeon gets the courage and passion to try to become a trainee.
Meanwhile, his father, with physical limitations that he had, he sought work and other activities that could be done, certainly not scavenging garbage, because Chaeyeon strongly opposed it.
Fortunately, my father could always do anything. She now makes accessories, and figurines that use hand skills. Their days were not quiet, sometimes Chaeyeon came home and spent time with her father, walking in a wheelchair and eating good food. Also, sometimes, Yunjin and Kaeun visit to enliven the atmosphere, or accompany Hojin to make an order.
“Uncle, I was always curious about one thing,” Yunjin said carefully, interrupted eating. Kaeun and Chaeyeon looked at him curiously, while Hojin looked ordinary, as if he had guessed what he wanted to ask. “Why are your clans different?”
If Chaeyeon's expression used to show aversion and sadness about it, then today she responded with a smile, while Hojin instead gave the fish that was placed on Yunjin rice.
“Eat a lot, you look skinny lately.” sodor Hojin understanding, being Kaeun, continue to eat voraciously, letting Yunjin bengong alone. Chaeyeon realized, if all this time she had not shared much of the story with the two, and promised later she would answer the question, removing the uncertain anxiety that had always haunted her. If he doesn't deserve to be a son to his father.
