Brey Feelings For Loly

Jenar's birthday has arrived. Jenar arranged her birthday in a luxury hotel with decorations and decorations like the king's daughter, even she provides expensive souvenirs for her guests. As a woman from the upper class, Jenar certainly did not want to hold her birthday in a simple place. Moreover, he is the fiancee of a business conglomerate who has many relations from outside the city of Jakarta and abroad. He would be embarrassed if he just had a party.

Tonight is not just Jenar's birthday but Lovely and Brey's engagement. Even so, they did not throw a massive party for their engagement. Jenar and Mr. Arman only encouraged them to exchange rings only after Jenar did a candle blow event. A grand, fancy party, will only be done if Lovely and Brey will get married later.

“Loly, you really have no problem marrying me?”

This week, Brey has never met Lovely. She was shocked when told by her parents that Lovely's family wanted them to get engaged at Jenar's birthday party. Just tonight, Brey had a chance to meet Lovely who was getting ready in a locker room at the hotel.

“It is precisely me who should ask you, Brey. My family suddenly wants us to get engaged, don't you have a problem?” Lovely is still not fully aware that Brey actually really wants this matchmaking because of her love until Lovely asked about Brey's opinion. Even Lovely feels bad for Brey for suddenly getting engaged to her.

Brey did not answer Lovely. He even sighed softly. Then, he pulled the chair to the front of Lovely and sat so close to Lovely. Lovely looks surprised to see Brey's unusual attitude but she says nothing, and just waits for Brey to respond to her words and hear Brey's opinion on this engagement.

Slowly, Brey held Lovely's two confused-looking hands. For a moment, Brey lowered his face there, trying to sort out the words he was going to say and regulate his feelings before expressing his long-held feelings.

“Brey!” call Lovely quietly with a worried expression looking at Brey who just silently lowered his head in front of her, not as usual.

Brey raised his face, looking at Lovely who was seriously staring at him. “A engagement problem, actually I'm happy that we're Loly's fiancee. Even I'm very happy if we get married.”

“What because you like me? If it was, I certainly knew. From the beginning, right, you really liked me? Therefore also, I am willing fiancee with you.” All along, Lovely only knew that Brey liked her as a friend. Marrying his friend doesn't matter. Even for him it is very good than getting married because of love that in the end makes his heart even hurt.

“You listen to me first. I'm not done talking,” Brey said.

“Oh alright!”

“Since long ago, I've liked you. Not just like you but I love you Loly,”, Brey said, which made Lovely surprised, but Lovely just silently looked at Brey with her eyes wide open.

Brey then held onto his chest. “Here is filled with you. And it's been a long time Loly. Therefore, after seeing the photo of you that my parents gave me, I immediately agreed to be betrothed to you. It's just that I didn't dare to be honest with you all this time because I was afraid that you might just stay away from me. Now, I dare say it because you agreed to marry me.”

“Since when did you like me, ah no, I mean, since when did you love me?” ask Lovely curiously.

“Since the first time we met on the basketball court.”

So distrustful of Brey's honesty, that Lovely thinks Brey is wrong.

“Ngak. How could I have followed my family by playing with your feelings, Loly. And you know me very well, I'm not the one who carelessly talks about heart and feelings. If I don't like it, I say I don't. I can't possibly love a hopeful person,” explains Brey who makes Lovely finally understand.

However, Lovely had not been able to calm her shock towards Brey. “I really don't think you love me, Brey. I'm the fool for not knowing or you're too smart to hide everything.”

Brey just smiled. At the same time, the hotel maid came into the room and told them to come out because the Jenar birthday event was about to start.

They also came out of the room. Brey, who feels relieved to have expressed her feelings, is not shy or worried again if she shows her feelings in front of Lovely. Even with pride and happiness, she held Lovely's hand. Lovely, whose hand was held, turned to look at Brey, and she smiled. While walking with Brey to the party venue, Lovely instead thinks of Alister. However, he did not expect anything from the man. He just thought that the man must have come and was accompanying Jenar there. However, arriving at the party venue, Alister was nowhere to be seen. Jenar, who had been waiting for her fiance for a long time, looked uneasy.

“Why didn't the show start Bi?” ask Lovely curiously.

“Alister, Little Aunt's fiancee has promised that she will come to the aunt's birthday event but until now, she has not appeared.” Jenar replied while looking outside, looking for the figure of the man she had been waiting for a long time.

Lovely stood beside Jenar. His eyes looked out. At that very instant, Alister stepped in

Brey notices Lovely's behavior avoiding something and Alister looks at Lovely until she grabs Lovely's hand and holds it tightly.

“Loly, you've decided to get engaged to me. Don't look at any other man besides me!” whispered Brey who made Lovely smitten.

“So it turns out you are like your partner. I just found out that you, it turns out to be possessive,” Lovely said smilingly mocking Brey.

“Don't be so dong! It's because I'm not happy you're looking at another guy.”

Lovely chuckles at Brey's words. Because, really, he's not used to hearing Brey say such things.
