For a month now, the sword has been my best friend. I believe with this sword I can be a great person and protect the people around me.

In training, I was always surprised by Adry's attack.

Every attack I shrewdly dodge, swing a sword and fend off Adry's attack, even though Adry always managed to defeat me. The attack after attack I repelled did not make me win against him. I'm just delaying my defeat.

___

I felt the need to continue practicing so that my skills would improve. At that time, I looked joyfully at my hands and arms, then tightened her muscles.

Through intense and continuous practice, I realized that my arms had become bigger and more muscular than before. Even so, I realized, that even though my arm looked strong, it was not enough to gauge how skilled I was. Therefore, I pay attention and improve my abilities through consistent practice and focus on things that can improve my skills and expertise.

It has been three months since I started intensive training and diligently learned many new things related to military skills. In the first month, I spent time learning how to ride, groom, and make horses trust me to gain the trust of her better while on it.

In the second month, I deepened my archery skills by learning how to hold the bow properly, regulate my breath and body position, and finally managed to hit the target even though it could only be counted in a matter of fingers. For me, however, successfully hitting the target is a miracle in itself.

And in the third month, it was a very much anticipated moment, where for the first time I felt a sword in my hand, which could be used to protect myself and others around me from distress.

Through the diligent and devoted training I have done over the past three months, I feel more confident and ready to take on greater challenges in the future. Even though I don't know how far I've come in my dreams, I feel closer than ever.

___

Mr. Pier gathered us back into the field. It was obvious from the serious expression on his face and the sharp look in his eyes that something was trying to convey to us. The tension felt within me. Directing his sword towards us, Master Pier said firmly, "You guys have been training for three months. Now is the time to test your skills. I'm going to stage a one-on-one duel for everyone here. Get ready!"

I felt the tension increase even though I often trained with Adry. Wait a minute, if my opponent is not Adry then I could have won! Even more so when Mr. Pier mentioned the word "duel". Who will be my opponent? There are many possibilities that come to my mind.

After all the comrades finished competing with their respective opponents, it was my turn to enter the arena that was made suddenly. I took out a one-handed wooden sword as it was lighter and stepped foot in a mixed feeling, but suddenly Abhisar appeared as an opponent using a two-handed wooden sword. Curiosity and tension culminate in this self, will I be able to fight him and become a winner?

___

Abhisar said, "My friend Arezha? I'm not sure I'll win against you." When Abhisar expressed doubt about his victory against me, I hesitated. Is he inferior or is he lacking confidence?

There was very little information I had about him and I felt unsure how to deal with him in a duel. However, I clearly remember that Abhisar mastered the combined techniques of piercing and slashing, as well as having speed and agility.

I was shocked and quickly avoided the attack. If I had not reacted, I would have lost the attack earlier. Not stopping there, Abhisar immediately attacked again towards me dodging. I managed to fend off the attack but I was pushed away by the attack and created space around me to breathe for a moment and think about the next strategy.

But the skilled Abhisar, his sword continued to attack with various techniques and gave me no space at all, the movements he made made me feel overwhelmed and difficult to avoid his oncoming attacks.

Although I tried to take some distance and find a gap to attack, Abhisar could always read my movements quickly and attack before I could do anything. Even when I attempted to attack first, Abhisar was still able to dodge my attack and return to attack. I was increasingly pushed and cornered by the relentless attacks of Abhisar.

During the duel, I felt immense pressure and fatigue because all I could do was continue to dodge his attacks. Even so I had to stay afloat and continue looking for loopholes to attack!

___

During that fight, I felt immense pressure and exhaustion from having to constantly dodge and resist the attacks of Abhisar. However, even though I was overwhelmed and it was difficult to defeat him, I kept trying to defend and look for gaps to attack.

As Abhisar attacked, I tried my hardest to read his hand movements and took action to fend off his attacks. He finally made a mistake! His sword technique shot out and cut through the air.

I found a gap in the movement of Abhisar who was attacking. Graying him by making myself look as if he was going to attack with my sword, he reacted to deflect. However, it was just a trick. My real goal is to kick her body.

Seeing him being pushed back until he fell to the ground. His sword was still within his grasp, this was an opportunity to throw a weapon out of his grasp! I struck the sword at Abhisar's wrist so that it escaped, and I threw away the weapon. L'm... I managed to defeat him!

My counter-attack felt very powerful and made Abhisar pushed back. He lost his balance, fell down but the sword he used was still within his grasp. I took advantage of the opportunity and struck my sword at Abhisar's wrist so that it slipped off, then I threw away the weapon he had used so that he could not grab it back.

I pointed my sword at Abhisar with a heavy breath.

L'm... L'm... Win!

Abhisar stood up to give me respect. "It's nice to duel with you, Mr. Arezha, I thought it would be difficult against you haha."

Mr. Pier from outside the arena clapped his hands when he saw us finish the duel, then he commented, "It's amazing that Mr. Arezha, you've obviously grown so much."

Adry approached me and grabbed my shoulder. "Buddy, look at you haha!"

This win makes me very happy and proud. I have defeated someone stronger than me. Doing it with the skills I learned was hard-earned. I feel more confident in my fighting skills.

___

Although I have mastered some skills, I cannot be sure if I have become a great person. The struggle of life is long and full of obstacles. I still need to keep trying and fighting relentlessly to achieve my dreams.

At an unpredictable time and in a vague future, I felt that I would reach for something and stand at the peak of success. I felt like there was something waiting at the end of this long journey, and I was sure it was the success I dreamed of. However, I don't know for sure what will happen between now and that time. Even though I don't know exactly how to reach it and the many obstacles and twists I have to face, I have to keep going.
