Final Decision

Madam Alea took a deep breath and began to tell a story like a poet in her day.

"The problem is the age of Mama at that time was married, twenty-two years, dear. How many are you now?" Mrs Alea's question was like checkmate to Valen. Valen had no refutation, his father was the same, just smiling resignedly, erasing the hope Valen would get a defense.

Valen looked at his father in annoyance. His obsession, a father as the head of the family, can take control of his wife who is seen starting to force children. Unfortunately, such expectations are not easy in the real world. For the hardworking husband, the wife is the ruler of the house and herself the ruler of his office.

"My husband does not want to be like my father, can only smile, nod, and beard with Mama. I must have a husband who has a firm, firm stance, and not all my wishes are followed." Valen muttered in his heart while looking at his father. Pitying the truth, but seeing the way her mother loved her father, Valen also saluted.

“Or I went back to Australia a year ago while maturing my brain to receive being betrothed and married off,” bargained Valen while raising his eyebrows and smiling expectantly.

Madam Alea was silent as she stared intently at her husband, as if she was ordering him to take over Valen which was too imposing a will. Mr. Teddy was well aware of the look, but he did not have the heart for his beloved daughter either, so he chose to lock his mouth. Silence is gold, said the poet.

"So, what, Mam?" Valen urged, he needed answers and Mike was waiting for him, at least that's what he believed.

“Back to Australia before getting married?” mrs Alea asked who sounded just like she wanted to reconfirm the request of her only puppet princess.

Valen nodded excitedly, he was too sure if his offer would be accepted by his mother.

"You can go back to Australia just for a honeymoon, with Karel." Madam Alea replied resolutely with a smile and held the back of Valen's hand, not feeling there was anything wrong with the coercion she had just done.

"Mam" Valen protested. His face grew sullen. As with any form of sullen Valen, will not change the decision to marry her to Karel.

Want to tell the truth if he regretted having decided to surprise his mother by returning to Indonesia, but Valen could not make his mother hurt. His feelings are far beyond anything. Let's say he was upset by his mother's decision this time, but he did not want to be a dissident child to parents.

"What kind of man is Karel's name, until Mama's really smitten like this?" Valen was curious.

The discussion was closed, although the conclusions were not read officially with Bi'Inah and Surti as witnesses, but all understood by themselves. Valen will be married to Karel, for the technicality will be explained by Mrs Alea later, so roughly the result.

Lady Sophia and Mrs Alea, who had received a mandate from their respective husbands to arrange the technical matchmaking of Karel and Valen, immediately held a limited meeting of four eyes at their cafe, in one of the malls.

"I still can't believe we're going to be besan, Phia," said Mrs Alea with a sigh after they finished the order.

"I also still feel this dream, did we ever aspire to be besan huh? It never does, Alea?" madam Sophia asked with a astonished face, then ended with the laughter of the two of them.

"Stupid ain't going nowhere, Phia. If it's a soul mate, although far away must be close." The two of them laughed happily while patting each other's arms using a beloved fan that they always carried like a sword in the silat series.

"We'd better find them soon." Lady Alea nodded her head in agreement with Lady Sophia's proposal.

"For the effect that they are not betrothed, then we do not give each other photos, let them seem to meet naturally," said Mrs Sophia with her flagship style, like being declamation.

"agree. So, the effect is that they are met by the universe because they are indeed a soul mate." Madam Alea added.

Once the place deal is completed, next the time deal. Mrs Alea asked to be done as soon as possible, given Valen who always whines asking to be allowed back to Australia. Madam Alea guessed that Valen was close to another man, but Madame Alea was indeed deliberately unwilling to ask that. Fortunately, Valen has not told me.

"How about tomorrow night, I've checked with Peter, and there's no client meeting or meeting tomorrow at the office." Lady Sophia offers a choice of time.

Mrs Alea who was chasing time, for no reason here and there immediately agreed. So complete this limited four-point meeting by deciding the place and time of meeting their children. Their next task is to pass this information on to their respective children, and should not fail.

"Karel, tomorrow night you will meet and have dinner with Valen at the Royal restaurant at seven p.m. Don't be late!" Lady Sophia gives the decree as the queen mother in the Korean royal series. A decree that cannot be broken, rejected, and or any form of his word that means so.

"Wow, tomorrow's the deal with Viona. Nervous," muttered Karel enough to make him restless. Lady Sophia who noticed Karel's stupor further sharpened her gaze towards Karel's face.

"Why?"

"I have an appointment tomorrow with a friend, Mom." Not daring to mention Viona's name in front of her mother, could be the length of his business.

"Who? Viona??" The sharp and firm voice of Lady Sophia when she asked, made Karel gasp and stupefied, confused and astonished when her mother could find out about Viona.

"Wiih, who told Mommy? The feeling that only Sigit knew, did Sigit dare to betray him? It seems impossible, he has promised and he always keeps his promise." Karel is monologuing with himself who's curious who told him about Viona.

"Why? Shocked that Mommy could know the woman's name?" Madame Sophia continued her question, leaving Karel to die a helpless flea. Lagian Karel did not dare to mess with his mother, his father's people did not dwell in front of his mother.

"Mommy is like a mafia, gangster rather," Karel said.

His mother lowered her glasses almost to the tip of her nose.

"You know more about Viona?" lady Sophia asked with a serious face.

"Mommy iih, the impression is serious," said Karel with a small laugh, trying to relax even though he was a bit horrified also with his mother who turned out to be able to act further than he thought.

"Mommy's serious. Viona was a night woman at one of the clubs in the south, close to you just after Mommy and Daddy's fortune. If you intend to marry her, Mommy scratches you from the family card. Don't try, or ...." The phrase Lady Sophia who almost made Karel semaput because it was followed by a horizontal hand style on the neck, like going to cut the neck.

"Jeez, my mom is a gangster," Karel said.

Madame Sophia then chuckled looking at Karel who put on a confused face as she looked at him, "No a gangster. Your mommy is just a mother who will protect her child from those who want to harm or harm her child."

Karel nodded, no longer daring to add to his speech, it was clear enough. Exactly like Valen who finally accepted even though in his heart still just nagged.

"I have to find a way, how can I avoid this crazy matchmaking. I don't love that thing called Karel, let alone marry her." Valen hisses while pacing back and forth in his room, looking for inspiration to get his way.

At once Valen remembered Riska, Bi'Inah's son, who a few days ago helped him successfully make a birthday surprise for his mother.

"Riska I can count on to handle this. His son was quite intelligent when he received the order."
