A Five Step Match

A Five Step Match
2. Let's Marry!

The rain was very heavy outside there, the lightning was earthy, the wind blew so big that it made Dinda's room window wet by rainwater carried by the wind. Occasional rumbling from the sky made the atmosphere of the night scary.

Dinda flicked the curtain, staring at the Yoga house next to her. The house was dark and there was not a single light on, making Dinda worried.

"Where are you? Tumben the lights aren't on yet?" muttered Dinda to himself, still paying attention when there was movement in the house. Suddenly his heart felt uneasy. He took his phone sending a message to Yoga.

"Not sleeping, Din?" asked a woman who was bending her head from the doorway of Dinda's room. Dinda turned her head and smiled.

"Not yet, Ma." The HP he had in hand he kept back on his pillow.

"It's night, you see. Ten o'clock, tomorrow morning lecture, right?" ask Irma to the princess. Dinda just nodded her head, then once again stared out the window.

"Ma, is the Yoga house dark? Is there no one there?" ask Dinda to her mother. Irma approached towards the window and looked at the same place.

"Yes, yeah. Not usually Puspa ma'am does not turn on the lights. What's on the go? Usually if you go also always say goodbye to Mama," said Irma, just like Dinda, she also suddenly felt worried about the situation of her neighbor.

"Have you called Yoga?" ask Irma.

"Not yet, just chat. But it hasn't been countered."

"Yes already. You sleep first, then Mama who calls her mother Juna," said Irma again. Dinda nodded her head and prepared to go to sleep, while Irma came out of the room.

Dinda could not sleep, just staring at the white ceiling of her room. Every now and then he looks at his phone and checks if Yoga has read his message or not.

"What's up?" tanya Dinda muttered. He decided to contact Yoga. However, there was no response from his friend.

"Hopefully nothing happened" he said again, then tried to close his eyes.

Just ten minutes later, Dinda closed her eyes, there was a rumbling sound from the lower door. Dinda who heard a noise woke up and went downstairs, saw Yoga in wet clothes talking to her mother and father. Dinda quickly ran towards them.

"Ga, why are you wet?" dinda asked confused and worried.

"Follow me, Din," said Yoga in a vibrating tone of voice. Yoga pulls Dinda's hand out of her house and heads to the car outside the fence. Dinda is shocked by the Yoga treatment that forces her to leave.

"Eh, what's going on?" ask Dinda in confusion. He could not dodge the pull of the man's hand, looking at his mother and father who were behind.

"We'll catch up!" Only papa Dinda's screams were heard before Yoga brought the girl splitting the rain.

Yoga asked Dinda to get in the car and soon the vehicle drove in the middle of the road that began to be quiet.

"Ga, what's going on?" dinda asked confusedly, because Yoga brought his car at a fairly high speed.

"Mama, in the hospital," replied Yoga without turning his head.

"I don't know, it was time to go home from college Mama passed out," said Yoga replied. Dinda felt worried at once hearing the testimony from Juna. Not usually Mama Puspa until fainted like that.

Before long, the car that Yoga was driving had reached the hospital parking lot, the two of them immediately advanced their footsteps quickly towards the room where Puspa was.

Yoga opened the door, letting Dinda enter the room first. Seen in there Puspa was lying limp on top of the gurney.

Seeing the arrival of Yoga and Dinda made Puspa smile happily, he could only extend his hand, making Dinda run quickly towards him.

"Mama why? What's going on?" dinda asked worriedly, wanting to cry because she could not bear to see the woman who had been taking care of her since childhood now rolled weak helpless.

"It's okay, just a little dizzy, really. Yoga aja tuh lebai, use bring here everything," said Puspa weak with a happy smile. It was so warm that it felt like Dinda's palm.

"Mama's sick? Kok did not say the same Dinda, let Dinda who cared at home," said Dinda again, did not feel her tears now flow from her beautiful eyes.

"It doesn't hurt, it's just a little lemes. Maybe because the whole day did not eat," said Puspa again trying to calm Dinda.

Yoga saw Dinda's concern for her mother, as well as the mother who seemed very affectionate with the girl.

Before long, Dinda's mother and father came and entered the room. They both looked very worried to see the state of Puspa who was now lying sick.

"Din, come with me!" yoga whispered as she pulled Dinda's hand out of the room. Dinda did not ask, just obeyed what Yogakakakat said. Yoga closed the door of her mother's room and took Dinda a little further from the room.

"Mrs ...." Yoga stopped resuming his words, Dinda looked at Yoga and waited for what Yogakakakat said. "Well, same to me. Please!" said Yoga that made Dinda stare in disbelief, again the request with Yoga that looked at Dinda pleading.

"Don't be crazy. I can't, we're from small. Time to get married?" ask Dinda a little sewot.

"What's the matter, Din, if we're in office? Is it wrong for a married friend?" tanya Yoga was annoyed, but still kept her tone of voice from speaking loudly.

"Yes, not wrong. But for me a friend is still a friend, I don't want our relationship so it's not good if we have a relationship that is more than that" said Dinda again staring at Yoga sharply.

"Mama is sick with cancer. The doctor said pretty bad, do you have to see Mama's sick like that? Pleases. If that's what you think, at least help me make happy mama until healed later," said Yoga with a clean look. Hearing this made Dinda surprised and even sadder.

"Cancer? How can ...." Dinda covered her mouth with both palms, not expecting what she had just heard. Instantly his eyes felt hot so that it launched warm water from the corner of his eyes.

Yoga sat on the waiting chair that was nearby, rubbing his face violently. "Gue just found out, too, Din. Mama hid her pain all this time from me and also papa. I don't know what else to do to let my mother want therapy," said Yoga sadly.

Dinda recalled how she used to be well taken care of by Puspa when the mother was forced to go to work. She gains the same affection as Yoga and does not distinguish the two of them. Until now, Mama Puspa often defended her more than her own child.

Dinda came up and sat down next to Yoga. A little while, until finally ....

"Gue. I concur. We're married!"
