A Handsome Day From the Forest

A Handsome Day From the Forest
Other Hemisphere

Shifted slightly to the corner of the world precisely in the forest where Naki lived. That morning the sun began to rise. Not much different from Ana, Naki still faithfully rolled on the mat while looking at the ceiling made of sikayu wood sheets.

Sometimes the man took a deep breath. He glanced at the window where his beloved pets were screaming to invite to play or just take a shower in the waterfall.

"Go, I still want to be here" Naki shouted at the elephant who was playing the door with his trunk.

Usually this early in the morning Naki has come home from the forest while bringing fruits for Ana. However, the fruit that he picked yesterday is still there. The roasted rabbit that Naki roasted last night was also not touched at all by the man.

Since yesterday Naki has not been eager to eat. Since there was no Ana Naki so realize that eating alone is not good at all.

Life is fucking.

For years Naki has been trying to adjust to the forest and its inhabitants. But ever since Ana's adjustment Naki faded away instantly. He always longs for all the moments he passed with Ana. Especially when I woke up in the morning and found Ana rolling in her arms.

Naki then sat down to bend his knees to hide the sword of darkness that had been rebelling since this morning.

Naki's mind wandered on yesterday's incident when Ana's magical hand managed to make her float in a sense of unworthiness.

Why does that hand make him so much more comfortable? Naki wanted to feel that way again. He tried to hold the dark sword using his own hand, but it didn't feel the same as Ana's.

This morning Naki was uproarious because of the mystery that was difficult to solve.

Does that weird feeling only work with Ana's hands? Argh, Naki was almost crazy to think about the sensation he had just felt for the first time.

For a moment Naki was silent. He looked at the 3 pieces of clothes hanging on the wooden wall. Naki smiled considering how hard Ana made the 3 stels for herself.

"Replace and wash the clothes once every two days!"

Around lunchtime Naki finally came out. He was surprised to see his friends gathered there. They seemed to understand the sadness that Naki was feeling at this moment.

"Are you feeling sorry for me?"

Naki muttered while looking at the animals. He looked at the wild animals one by one. It turns out they all live in pairs and have offspring.

Miris.

Now Naki realizes that the animals are not his family. They submit to Naki because the man managed to conquer the forest to be crowned king of the forest by all its inhabitants.

All the animals that were there were obedient thanks to Naki's greatness in controlling the forest. Although the animals look affectionate and caring, they can't replace Ana.

Now Naki begins to realize that Ana is far more valuable than her forest and her pets.

"Naki, that man must live with man. No matter how good the animals are, they can't be a human family."

Ana's words that one more make Naki tingling unbecoming. I don't know how many times Ana reminded, but Naki can only understand after the person is not there.

For the first time Naki feels the forest is not the place. Animals that are considered family are also not family because they have their own family.

"Thighhhhhhh!"

Naki shouted in frustration. The scream was strong. Naki wished Ana heard the roaring scream she felt at this moment.
