Satria took off her top tie and shirt button. He just got home from the office where he works. Satria now lives in her parents' house. He took the frame on top of the cabinet and sat on his bed. A long breath sounded from his mouth.
Satria's gentle rubbing was given on a glass frame that protected her little family's photos.
In that frame, there was her, Santika and their little daughter when Natasya was only one year old. Satria remembered very well, at that time they took the time to take a walk on the weekend to a tourist spot. The beautiful smile on Santika's face was still vividly painted in her memory.
"Father miss you, son." Satria's hand again rubbed the frame glass earlier, but this time on the face of her daughter. It had been two days since Satria had not met her daughter and Santika. He missed them both. Honestly, Satria is still not willing if you have to part with Santika.
The sound of knocking on the door distracts Satria. He doesn't know who's coming to his house at this hour. There are rarely any guests for him, so Satria thought that it might be possible for people out there to look for both parents. But now Satria also does not know where her parents are. From the moment he came home from work, the house was deserted.
"Excuse me!" call someone from outside.
Curiosity is haunting Satria. The photo pigura put Satria back on top of the cabinet and she walked towards the door to open the door for people waiting outside.
"There's people?" A voice came back saying hello to Satria's eardrum.
"Yes, one minute!" sahut Satria opened the door. When the door was opened, Satria found a well-dressed man. He wears a white shirt, black suit and pants, shiny pantofel shoes and his hands carry a briefcase. Satria's forehead shriveled to see a man she didn't know standing at her doorstep. Satria also tried to remember, who knew the skinny man was one of his friends in the office.
"Rubber, is this Mr Satria's house?" asked the man in the suit who was standing in front of Satria.
"Yes, right. You talk to me yourself, Satria." Satria's right hand pointed towards her chest, typical like a person who was introducing himself to a new person.
The man looked inside the house for a while and it made Satria realize, "Let's go in. Please sit down, let me make you a drink." Satria allowed the man she did not know his identity to enter the house, without suspecting other things.
"No need to bother, I won't take long," prevented the man from sitting down on one of the chairs in the living room.
Satria who was about to walk towards the kitchen, so he paused. Satria did not make him drink because his guest said to himself that he would not be long. Now, Satria sat opposite the foreign man. He noticed what the guest was doing that started to pull out a brown envelope from inside his briefcase. Satria's feelings so unwelcome, he's been thinking a no-no.
"I am Santika's lawyer. Yesterday your wife came to the religious court to sue Mr. Satria for divorce, and the intention of my coming here was to deliver divorce papers to you." The man explained about the lawsuit Santika presented to Satria. "I hope, later you can come to the trial," continued the man who claimed to work as a lawyer.
"Please sign it, sir." Santika's lawyer returned to disperse the daydreams of Satria.
"Can I discuss it with my wife again, sir?" Satria tries to ask for time to discuss again with Santika.
"It's perfectly fine" replied the lawyer. "Later if there is new news about the relationship between Mr and Ms. Santika, you can contact me. Then, excuse me first." The lawyer had gone straight home because he felt his job was done.
Satria is alone here. He took the brown envelope and Satria saw the contents. It was clearly a divorce warrant. Satria could not stem her cries. He lamented his fate that felt like a failure in maintaining his household. Satria felt useless because he had to break the promise in keeping Santika as his wife until death separated.
"What should I do, Santika?" satria asked the piece of paper she was holding.
Disappointment because of being sued for divorce, Satria immediately stood up and she wanted to see Santika at her in-laws' house. Satria will try to persuade Santika so that his wife will refer to him. Satria will do everything she can.
Arriving at her in-laws' house, Santika and Miss Mirna are in front of the house. With a quick step, Satria came to Santika. He slowly pulled the hand of the woman who was still his wife. Santika looked angry to see Satria in front of her eyes. Not much different from Marni.
"You're all right, Mas? Why are you here?" sentak Santika is heartless.
The brown envelope containing the divorce papers on his hand earlier, shown by Satria to Santika. But without Satria thinking, Santika instead heaved a sigh of relief.
"Oh, so the divorce papers have reached you?" Santika. "How, you signed, right?" santika asked as she crossed her hands in front of her chest.
"How could you do this, San? Remember our son. Natasya is still a child, she still needs the figure of a father. Why are you suing for my divorce? Are you no longer in love with me?" ask Satria berlisk.
Santika rolled her eyes lazily, "I will never want to refer to you anyway! I won't change my decision to divorce you!" reply Santika accompanied by the movement of his hands that pointed at Satria's face. "You do realize what the hell it is, Mas? You are less able to make me happy. Your salary is not enough for me to buy branded goods! I used the ten-minute shopping as well as it ran out immediately! So why do I keep you who obviously can't love me a lot of money" Santika said emotionally and excited. "Again, where full I eat love. Eat the love.
Satria's heart was so sick, hearing herself being insulted by the woman she had loved all this time. "Your staff said that to me, San." Only this could be said from Satria's lips.
