After leaving the house and taking a few steps, Vishl took me to a village that was so peaceful and peaceful.
This village, Vin'yama, was founded by Vena about 200 years ago after evacuating hundreds of people after a past incident, and he decided to build a new village.
Vishl's house turned out to be a large mansion that was behind this village, slightly above the mountain named 'Yama'. Perhaps the meaning of the Veins is 'mountain village'.
When I first saw this bustling village, the rustic atmosphere made me feel a bit foreign. This is very different from the villages I have visited in Japan.
"Good morning, Miss Vishl. Oh. Surely you are Miss Marie, nice to meet you," said a friendly old lady as she approached the two of us.
The woman looked very friendly, and somehow I felt as if I was talking to a grandmother who used to be so kind to me, even though her fate ended tragically.
"Ahh, grandma, good morning too. Today I want to take Marie around the village" Vishl replied with a friendly smile
I said, "It's nice to meet you, my name is Marie. Looks like this meeting will bring good luck."
I tried to give praise to this meeting and hope my attitude was not too arrogant.
"May your words come true... Grandma will be back first. May you enjoy walking around the village" replied the grandmother as she walked back to her field not far from where we were talking.
"He's a good guy... I hope you can see his kindness. However, at this time his health is deteriorating" Vishl said, turning his eyes away.
"I can feel the kindness of his heart just by talking to him. But, too good..."
"Well, let's move on to a place where I usually relax over tea or coffee!" vishl exclaimed suddenly eager to break the silence.
"I didn't even know that coffee existed in this world..."
"I often drink coffee when I stay up at night..."
"And at that very moment I was asleep..."
"Yes, I never drank it either, even say coffee in the morning or during the day..."
.
After a short conversation, we continued on our way and were greeted several times by villagers, including children who seemed to like Vishl.
While heading to the place that Vishl was going, I realized that Vishl and Tsuki were both respected and liked by the villagers.
This was probably due to Vishl's friendly demeanor and Tsuki's dignified aura. In addition, the villagers feel that the leaders before Vishl and Tsuki were too mysterious and dislike showing themselves. In fact, it was Tsuki who actually organized this village with her servants as intermediaries. Tsuki had only appeared in public thirty-eight years before Vishl's birth and died two years later.
If I mentioned Vishl's birth, it would sound strange because his mother, Vena, passed away two centuries ago. And that's the main problem we faced at the library meeting.
.
Unknowingly, we had reached the place that Vishl had intended.
The place was a cafe with a name in the native language of this world.
We entered and were greeted by waiters and cafe owners.
Then the cafe owner said, "Riria, have you welcomed the wheelchair-bound lady?" ask her servant.
Riria apologized and lowered her head. "Ah, forgive my sass!!! Sorry for ignoring you!! missy..."
"I'm Marie. It's okay, don't blame yourself" I replied.
"Sorry deeply, Miss Marie!!" riria said once again.
The cafe owner apologized, "I'm sorry for my employee's sassiness too."
"I told you it's okay. He just didn't realize my existence because I was silent from earlier."
"Thank you for your announcement. Miss Vishl, please sit down, and Riria, help Marie to sit on the chair!" the cafe owner.
Before the owner left, he said goodbye to both of us. "Please send a message to Riria. I'm going to the kitchen to prepare the ingredients" he said, lowering his head and leaving.
"Really, I'm sorry, Miss Marie! Forgive me too, Miss Vishl, for being so presumptuous to your sister!" riria said with regret.
"That's it, no problem! Marie said it many times." said Vishl while teasing Riria.
"Ehh, did I just make her feel worse?!" riria replied as if she was about to cry.
"Don't tease her, Vishl. I'm not that bad to the point of taking matters this small. I even felt myself being too arrogant with my words," I said.
"No! That doesn't sound arrogant at all, even your every word seems graceful and mysterious!" answer Riria.
"Heh. sorry-sorry. As soon as Riria, I want to order the usual drinks and Marie?" Vishl said his order.
"I also want the same drink as Vishl for now."
"Well, two coffees typical of this cafe and is there any other order?" Tanya Riria again offered another menu.
"Then I want to order 2 cakes that are usually as well." Reply Vishl..
"Well, I'll drop you off soon!" riria replied, bowing her head once more before heading towards the coffee making grounds.
If you think, this place is similar to a modern cafe in my world, but with a much different ornament and atmosphere.
"By the way, is my way of speaking too arrogant?" I asked Vishl, looking for his opinion.
"Perhaps, but they don't seem to be bothering about it because even though it seems arrogant, your words aren't actually arrogant at all."
"Hm... I just spoke according to my thoughts."
"That means you're not really arrogant."
"Yes, it's possible...."
To be continued.
