A Paid Wife

A Paid Wife
Arga's Regret

Arga so long to say kabul ijab. Only a few families came. And, his office partner. He didn't invite many people. He wanted no one to know more about his wife.

A round of applause was heard when the witness said it was legitimate. Oma, smile thinly. He breathed a few times. Oma smiled happily. I finally saw my favorite grandson get married.

After the wedding is over. Yeri kissed the back of Arga's hand. And, Arga gave a kiss on Yeri's forehead so gently. Instantly stopping Yeri's heartbeat for a moment. Arga whispered softly to Yeri. "Remember, do it well. I know, you're very good at acting. In fact, you can be a well-paid lover."

"Calm down, let's just say it's an important job for me. I can do it easily."

Arga smiled faintly. Both eyes looked at the guests who came. Arga got up from his seat. Walk to meet the guests from the family. They talk to each other. Arga deliberately mixed Yeri on her own with a confused face. Oma also talked to her family. Seeing Yeri seem confused Gio approached her. Patting Yeri's shoulders.

"Sister-in-law!" call Gio.

Yeri looked at him for a moment. "Gio, what's wrong?" ask Yeri.

"Why are you just silent? You can join brother Arga. You should also know everyone who is here. After all, everything here is family!" said Gio. He stood right beside Yeri.

Yeri pinched Gio's waistline. "What do you mean? You want to treat me in front of your family? You and your brother are the same," annoyed Yeri.

Gio grimaced with pain. He blinked both of his eyes confused. "So, is there something wrong with what I said?" ask Gio wonder.

"No, ada!"

"Then why are you angry?" ask Gio.

Yeri pursed her lips. He stared intently at Arga who still didn't care about me. "I can go, right?" ask Yeri.

"Where?"

"To the room for a moment, the event is over. I want to sleep!" said Yeri.

"But there are still guests. The family is still together, Yeri."

Yeri was silent. Without answering Gio's question. Yeri raised pulling her taunya up. He walked away from the guests.

"Yeri, where are you going?" ask Gio. He ran after Yeri.

"Where are you going?" ask Gio.

"I told you I was sleeping. You said the same to them. I'm tired, I want to rest. Let them continue to talk to your family. I also want to continue sleeping again." Yeri grumbled. Without stopping his steps.

"Yeri, but what if Kaka Arga knows. Keep getting mad at you."

"I don't care anymore." annoyed Yeri.

"All right!" Gio stopped his steps. He raised his right hand. Look at the watch that is coiled around his wrist. The hour hand shows at 11 p.m.

"Maybe it's time to go to bed!" said Gio.

Gio hissed slowly. He turned his body back together with the others. Let Yeri into the room.

Arga did not sleep in his room. He chose to sleep in Gio's room. Although it had to be midnight sneaking in Gio's room when the oma was already asleep. She does not want to sleep with Yeri, she is afraid that the khilaf will sleep together with Yeri.

Everyone had breakfast in the dining room. His parents arrived this morning. They went back to work again. After breakfast. Instead of being happy, Arga was silent. He ate while enduring his frustration.

“Where is your wife?” Ask Sarah Mama Arga. Start the conversation, break the silence between them. He just came back from abroad. Arga's parents wondered how his wife was. As beautiful, as smart as what it will be. Or, he is from above. The Arga family has never liked it if Arga chose the wrong woman. Several times Sarah betrothed Arga to the daughter of her friend. A young entrepreneur who is beautiful and successful in the clothing design business, even he has his own construction company.

Arga knows the nature of his mother. He acted flat, and continued eating. “Maybe he's still in his room,” Arga said. Without looking at Sarah.

“What time is it? A woman wakes up bad luck. Is he shameless. He came to this house not to sleep alone,” furious Sarah. He breathed in annoyed. Grabbing one glass of water, gulp it down slowly. Slowly pacified the frustration within him.

“What's really why? Maybe he is tired, it's only natural that he is still sleeping.” Oma Saut.

Melly snorted annoyed. Looking up at Oma Melly. “Oma, already, deh, don't defend the new son-in-law. Mostly she is just an ordinary person,” Sarah rolled her eyes lazily saying that reality.

“He is not our family standard. Its origin is also unclear. What if he's a son of a criminal? We don't know either, do we?”

Arga was enjoying his meal. He put his spoon and fork on the plate. Stopped eating.

“J don't interfere too far,” says Arga. He got up from his seat. Moving her head slowly turned towards Sarah.

“I know, if you never cared at all about your world. But have you ever thought about your son's happiness. Until whenever mama would never agree I married anyone.”

“And remember don't bring that woman back into this house. I already have a wife. Why don't Gio the mama match.”

“Eh.. Whahuh? Me? No, Nope! Who wants to be matched. I don't want to either. I better not be matched. I can find it myself.” Sarah growled at the sound of her son always refusing what he ordered.

“You two are the same. You can't set.”

“All hanging, mom.” Arga pushed his chair backwards. He immediately stepped his foot away from the dining room.

Sarah glanced at her husband, who had been silent since then, regardless of what his wife said.

“Let's choose their own partner,” Lukman said.

Sarah frowned. His anger is mounting. “Papa support them?” Ask Sarah. “This habit of children is always pampered.” Grumpy Sarah. He pursed his lips in annoyance. Oma Melly just kept quiet, shaking her head. Seeing her daughter-in-law who never got along with her children.

Arga intends to meet Yeri. He opened the door to his room. Both eyes were fixed on a woman who was still lying on her bed. Arga sighed. He tried to stay relaxed facing Yeri. Arga stepped very carefully. Turn off his footsteps. So as not to disturb Yeri who is still sleeping soundly in his bed.

"Hm..  Huuaaamm." Yeri yawns very wide. He closed his lips with his right palm. Then, a hilarious roll beside him. Hugged very tightly. And, back to sleep. It was as if both eyes were reluctant to open.

"Damn it, why is he so happy to be in this house?"
