The Suffering Begins

After officially becoming a married couple, Axel decided not to stay at his parents' residence or Kayla's parents' residence. He invited his wife to go straight home to his apartment that night.

"Axel, you can't just go back to the apartment tomorrow" Roseline said.

"No Mom, tonight I have to go home to my apartment" Axel replied.

"Yes Axel, if you don't want to stay at your parents' house, how about tonight you stay at Mama's house first" Karina said.

"Sorry Ma, but tonight I want to take Kayla straight to the apartment. Please allow me yes, so that we can both be independent to live this household," Axel said.

"Ma, Mom, if I think what Axel said is true. It's better tonight we both go straight to the apartment, so we can live independently and feel how to live in a household" said Kayla.

On the way back to the apartment, Kayla and Axel just kept quiet, silent, there was no talk between them because both were confused about what to talk about. Even at first the two of them never chatted anything meaningful, only occasionally greeting when Axel visited Keisha and accidentally met him.

Not long after, they arrived at Axel's apartment. The apartment he had dreamed of living happily with his beloved wife, Keisha. In reality, she is married to Kayla, Keisha's older sister. After pressing the apartment password, Axel and Kayla immediately entered the apartment.

"Your room is right there" Axel pointed to a room on the ground floor.

"My room? You meanwhat?" Ask Kayla.

"That's your room. Do you think we'll sleep together? Never dream" Axel said.

"so we split the bed?" Kayla asked who was feeling very happy, because honestly she was already very afraid when she imagined she would give herself tonight to a man she did not love at all.

"Yes it's clear. My room is upstairs, remember that even though we live together and we're married. But I will never consider you my wife, so never once do you dare to set foot in my room without my permission or I ask for it. If you dare to break it, I will make sure that I will punish you. Just live your life everyday as usual when you were before you married me" Axel said.

Kayla nodded in agreement, then she immediately entered the room that Axel had appointed earlier. While Axel just stepped foot upstairs to his room.

"What did Axel mean? I know she married me because I had to, even I was like that. But shouldn't we be playing with marriage? I have to be patient, I have to accept whatever Axel treats me. Maybe this has indeed become the destiny of my life because it has become a substitute bride," Kayla said.

After cleaning up, because her body was so tired, Kayla now put her body on the mattress and closed her eyes.

"Axel, what's wrong? I'm already very sleepy and want to sleep" Kayla said.

"Have you spoken like that. After what you did, now you want to sleep well, right? Don't expect Kayla" Axel said.

"Don't pretend to be stupid and forget what you've done to make Keisha leave me" said Axel, who again accused Kayla.

Kayla was silent, it felt to fight Axel he had no energy and no use. Because Axel would never listen to his explanation.

"Then what do you want from me nights like this Axel?" Ask Kayla.

"Clean my bathroom now, because I want to use it. After a week of not being here, I don't think the bathroom is worth using yet" Axel said.

Indeed, one week before the wedding day and Keisha, Axel accidentally did not come to his apartment because he wanted to come later on the night of his bride with Keisha. But what she said about the bathroom was a lie, as it was part of her original intention to make Kayla's life suffer.

Kayla followed Axel upstairs and went into his room. Axel's room was so spacious and beautiful that Kayla thought, if only she was the wife Axel wanted, she would definitely sleep in this room with Axel. But in fact he was just an unregarded wife.

Kayla went into the bathroom referred to by Axel, in there she saw a bathroom that was so clean that even the bathroom could also be used to sleep because it was too clean.

"What am I supposed to do here Axel? The bathroom was very clean" Kayla said.

"What are your eyes blind. This bathroom has been unused for a week, of course, dusty and there are germs. I want you to clean this bathroom now, use plenty of water to make it cleaner" Axel said.

"But it's Axel's night. The water is also so cold, I can't get cold" Kayla said.

"I don't care, do now your duty if you want to sleep," Axel said smiling smirk.

Then very forced Kayla also cleaned the bathroom which was actually very clean. Because the bathroom was quite large, up to 1 hour Kayla just finished cleaning the bathroom. Because from then on he was also continuously watched by Axel who made sure every inch of the bathroom floor had been brushed by Kayla. Until Kayla felt cold because of the cold water in the bathroom, even Axel himself forbade her to use warm water because he thought it was a waste. After that Kayla was allowed to return to her room.

Kayla was back in her room at the time. After changing her clothes that had been wet, Kayla also immediately rested because her body was very tired and felt cold.
