*Fighting of Fog Swamp (Pete Rabut)*
After walking down the ice wall to the right, Duke Lalang Lengir finally found an ice staircase leading up.
The duke then climbed up the ice stairs. He had to exert a little of his inner strength in resisting the extreme cold.
“Welcome to the ice fortress of Fog Swamp, Aunty!” greet Alma Fatara upon arrival Duke Lalang Lengir above. His big smile showed his toothless teeth. “It turns out Aunt Duke is very beautiful.”
Duke Lalang Lengir was momentarily silent looking at Alma Fatara.
“Follow me, Aunty!” take Alma Fatara and turn around and walk away.
Duke Lalang Lengir followed Alma Fatara and walked on his left side.
“Who are you, Young Child?” duke Lalang asked coldly.
“My name is Alma Fatara.”
“Why is the aura of the Black Ball so powerful on you?” duke Lalang Lengir.
“Because the Black Ball is on me. Is Aunt also interested in taking it?”
“With my current position, it is very unlikely to do that. Are you the woman who helped Gusti Queen Colour Mekararum?”
“True.”
“Where did you meet Gusti Ratu?”
“On Seribis Island, the island we know is uninhabited. I found Gusti Ratu in a condition of being tortured by hundreds of venomous beasts by a group of royal warriors.”
“Are they soldiers of Jintamani Kingdom?”
“The soldier admitted it like that. Gusti Ratu also called it that way,” replied Alma.
“What is the uniform color of the soldier green and black?” duke Lalang Lengir asked still intended to really test the truth that he had believed.
“Not that color, but it's dark blue,” replied Alma Fatara.
“Means right they are soldiers of Jintamani Kingdom.”
“Is Aunt still in doubt?” ask Alma.
“Only met with Gusti Ratu which makes me can not be suspicious anymore,” said Duke Lalang Lengir. “Did you build this ice fortress?”
“True.”
“Who exactly are you, Alma?”
“Hahaha! I'm just a fisherman's son who, with God's permission, met Gusti Ratu, unlike Bibi, who is a man of.”
Finally they arrived in front of the house Jangkung Mushroom aka Ki Ramu Bile. From the top of the house came an old woman who was the Queen of Color Mekararum. Very good development that now the queen can walk alone. However, there were still remnants of a faint blue color on his white face.
Seeing the figure that was indeed the Queen of Color Mekararum, Duke Lalang Lengir immediately went down to his knees worshiping.
“Worship slave, Wrestling Queen!”
“Arise, Light-Witch!” the Queen of Colours Mekararum.
Duke Lalang Lengir moved up to his feet.
“Who are you coming with?” ask the queen.
“Two of my loyal guards and thirty horsemen were stopped in the Lost Valley,” answered Duke Lalang Lengir.
“After you see me, you choose to be loyal to the throne of the Kingdom of Jintamani or to the rebels of Gending Suro?”
“You need not hesitate, Lalang Lengir. Although I do not have an army, but I have a swordsman of a thousand troops,” said Queen Colour Mekararum.
“According to the Heavy Stick Swordsman, the troops of Pagamuyung Duchy have been taken over by Senopati Gending Suro,” said Adipati Lalang Lengir.
“That means there will still be war. Do you know, how much power was sent to attack here?” ask the queen.
“Six duchies, Gusti Ratu.”
“Six? My guess is three duchies.”
“Then what should I do for Gusti Ratu?” duke Lalang Lengir.
“Go warn the other dukes that they will be executed on the battlefield if they continue to follow the orders of the Senopati Gending Suro people!”
“Good, Gusti Queen.”
“Alma, from today, if any troops come, I give you the authority to execute its leader!” the Queen of Colours Mekararum.
“Good, Gusti Ratu,” said Alma obediently.
After the meeting, Duke Lalang Lengir again left the Fog Swamp to carry out the task, which was to persuade other dukes. There would be four dukes he would have to persuade not to revolt.
After one day leaving the Fog Swamp and the Lost Valley, Duke Lalang Lengir passed by Clasp of Husk and Sumirah in the middle of the road.
“I did not manage to meet with Duke Garongjaga, he had departed first. However, during the pursuit towards the Fog Swamp, I did not find his entourage,”, Gengkap Sekam told Adipati Lalang Lengir.
“Maybe you guys are different roads. Because, the troops will gather first in Bukit Belah whose path is different from the direction of the Fog Swamp,” said the duke.
“Beas.”
“You go back to the Fog Swamp. I've met Gusti Ratu in person. I was assigned to go persuade the other dukes,” said Duke Lalang Lengir.
“Well if so. I'm back to the Fog Swamp!”
And so, Clasping Chaff and Sumirah continued on their way to return to the Fog Swamp. While the army of the Duchy of Sawak went to Bukit Belah, where the gathering of troops from six duchies was planned.
After traveling for half a day, Duke Lalang Lengir and his troops met with a large army. The army consisted of cavalry and pedestrians. There were three open horse carriages carrying a retainer.
The army consists of two armies. One more squad in black green uniforms. Another army that numbered about three hundred soldiers in dark blue uniforms. They were the direct forces of the Jintamani Kingdom.
The large army was led by a commander named Jaru Berawak. He was the Commander of the Conquest Army. He was sent specifically by Senopati Gending Suro to lead the attack on the Fog Swamp.
Jaru Berawak is a burly man with an ordinary height. He was bare-chested with coiled metal bracelets on his head, neck, arms, and both ankles. On his back waist tucked a nice dark red keris.
In the team, there are also a number of warriors, including Sanggar Aga aka Kepeng, Merah Matang and Wanita Kipas Melati.
Jaru Berawak stopped his army while dealing with the much smaller Duke Lalang Lengir entourage.
Duke Lalang Lengir then got off from his horse carriage. He advanced to the front of Commander Jaru Berawak's horse.
“My respect, Commander Jaru Berawak. Forgive me for just joining,” said Adipati Lalang Lengir.
“Why are the forces of Duke Lalang Lengir very few?” ask Jaru Berawak.
“I'm sorry. I misunderstood the orders. I first brought my troops to the Fog Swamp. My troops were massacred and this is what remains,” said Duke Lalang Lengir.
“Join this team, we destroy the inhabitants of Fog Swamp!” jaru Berawak.
“Good.”
So joined Duke Lalang Lengir into the army of the Kingdom of Jintamani. The troops continued their journey towards the Fog Swamp which would take another two days to travel.
During the time of the troops to make a rest stop, Duke Lalang Lengir made a movement to meet a number of dukes and then had secret talks. (BH)
